Shopping around for baby things and stopped in. The facility was on the cleaner side. The place was just a bit busy and the employees look busy so no greeting was given. It's understandable though. Everything was organized except for the baby and child section. Clothes were mismatched for sizes and categories. You were with bottles and random items but in random place things non baby related in the baby section. I will give them this the dog bed section (which is usually destroyed by customers) was well organized. Upon exiting I did see what looked like the manager taking care of customers at registers, bagging for his employees. I do appreciate a good leader. read more

1/11/2017 Cool Springs - Oh my goodness this was so frustrating. It was getting to be close to closing time, and ONE register was open taking care of people while a couple other employees were just cleaning up behind the register. CMON NOW, customer service 101, take care of the people FIRST. There was no need to be standing in line for a long time just waiting for one more register to open at least... The store seems clean, they don't refresh the stock very often, and the selection in womens clothing and shoes seems a lot barer than the Nashville one. YESSSSS Renae V said it, as each day passes this location seems lesser and lesser of quality and more similar to ROSS. Let's get it back to the way it used to be! This TJ maxx is slightly disappointing in comparison to others i have been to. The clothes section needs some help.

Who the hell does the thermostat control? Someone in Alaska who is cold right now? I went to the dressing room to try on seven pieces and by the time I tried on the second piece I was so hot! Everyone was complaining how hot the dressing rooms was. Well TJMaxx you lost my business today. The heat was miserable and of course it didn't make me want to shop. Oh well at least Steinmart up the street has AC in their dressing rooms. No one wants to try on clothes when it's that hot and we are in the middle of school shopping season. In my conquest to complete my designer bedding ensemble (yes, I use phrases like that!), I hauled myself to this location and left unimpressed and empty-handed. After visiting the Saks Fifth Avenue version of TJ Maxx in Brentwood, this location just doesn't measure up. The staff was friendly but the store seemed a bit unorganized. read more

T J Maxx, to me its like Burlington Coat factory except a Lil more organized (but not by much!) All I needed was a few pair of shorts for my upcoming much needed Vacation to Cancun!,..no problem found some and proceeded to dressing room upon my wife's request to try them on. Now, ladies let me give you some advice...GUYS REALLY DON'T NEED TO TRY ON EVERY PIECE OF CLOTHING in the Store to know whether it fits! We can pretty much hold the object against us, look at the size and say "Yep this is it lets roll!" Unfortunately like most married men i didn't have a choice..wifey wanted to make sure her man was fly on the beach! Gotta love em for that! Anyway what was the aggravating part about it was that they only had ONE dressing room for men...yes one dressing room and a bathroom you could try on clothes in but I really didn't want to change clothes in a pee pee bathroom! So I ended up waiting 45 Min's just to try on a few shorts.... :( that sucked I can't stress enough the importance of going early, knowing what you want and getting the hell outta there before the lines get long..and believe me THEY GET LONG FAST! Not eager to return anytime soon,...but if i have to so be it, it wasn't too bad. read more

I have had my worst experience ever the last time I was here and will not be returning until the obnoxious associate who badgers customers far beyond an acceptable or appropriate level is fired. I didn't catch her name, but she is at a shorter height, with long, dark brown hair, a high-pitched voice, and has been working the cash register near the end by the men's section the last 2 times I was there. She makes each customer who interacts with her visibly upset and uncomfortable because of how she goes about trying to get them to open a store card. Here is my account of what happened: If your business strategy is to try to guilt me into opening a store card by trying to make me feel bad that you'll lose your job after I've already said no 5 times, it's not. I don't feel bad for you. I'm not kidding when I say I said no 5 times and the girl still tried to get me to change my mind by saying I wanted her to quit her job and that she's not going to get all of her points or whatever. She then yelled, "Ok guys, I'm not coming to work tomorrow because they all want me to quit!" And then AFTER the transaction was complete, she was still like, "See? You put in on credit and what are you gonna get for it? Nothin! That's what I try to tell you people!" I'm way less inclined to even think about opening a card when I'm harassed like that. Not to mention the fact that 20% off does not impress me enough to open a card. It was completely rude and inappropriate and made me so uncomfortable that I don't want to go back based on the horrible customer service alone. read more

A big hats-off to Kelsey at TJ Maxx in Franklin. I purchased very nice John Hardy earrings at the Brentwood "Runway" store. I love them. However, I was given a beautiful pair of JH earrings by a friend for Christmas. So when I brought them back there was some question about taking them back....with receipt, but no TJ Maxx sticker on them. They were in their original JH pouch and box. Unworn and pristine. But the sticker had been removed. Let's face it, the sticker was so big, no one could make a purchase decision with it on. Kelsey, my cashier, had my back as the colleague she called over (who shall remain nameless), deftly pronounced that "jewelry wouldn't be taken back without the tag on it". Oh please don't make me go there. You all have technology down to a laser-focused, technologically-enhanced, Gladys Kravitz. Don't tell me you don't know what your merchandise has been doing. You've got radar on that stuff. Besides, my receipt says, "Jewelry returns require a receipt". That's all. With the receipt and the transaction number, Kelsey hung in there, stood tall, and convinced her colleague to let her try and complete the transaction properly. The item number was keyed into the gun and, "Voilá!" No big deal. Stand up, be smart, be strong. #successfulgirl Thank you Kelsey. You are the type I'd hire. read more

I am a long time TJ Maxx Shopper and actually it is always in my top three favorite places to shop. I have lived in quite a few states and this store does not live up to the others. I am hard pressed to find much worth spending my money on and that makes me sad,,, read more

TJ Maxx is a closeout department store that sells clothing, toys, housewares, furniture, and a small selection of electronics. All items are sold at discounted prices (or so they say). This particular location is fairly large. The men's section has a nice selection of business clothing including button up shirts and ties. If you are on a budget but have to wear business style clothing for work, I would highly recommend starting here. The women's section takes up most of the store. My wife always finds something when we stop in. The electronics section is pretty crappy. The toy section is pretty small, but they have some decent stuff. Housewares section is also decent. They have some furniture, some décor, bath stuff, and some kitchen utensils. The checkout process is different from other stores. There is a long line area where you wait until you are asked to come forward by an open cashier. Overall, I'd say it's worth checking out. I do have to warn you, this location can get very busy at times. read more

TJ Maxx stocks everything from Polo shirts to high end kitchenware. You can even find a limited selection of furniture at this location. My wife stops off at this TJ Maxx nearly every weekend. She loves their clothing and shoe selections. They also have decent offerings for us, gentlemen. They also have a toy section with prices lower than Walmart. During the holidays they greatly expand their toy offerings. Be sure to check out the clearance aisle for the best deals. Her latest great find was a high end cook pot, $60 for $300 cooper bottom pot. Brand name clothes at great prices. If you are looking for a deal, you will likely find one at TJ Maxx. read more

TJ Maxx is a favorite of mine as the philosophy of delivering low priced, high-quality goods to the marketplace is premium for the frugal consumer. Outfitting a new home, but still requiring a couple new ties, new luggage, and workout clothes, this place is my main dig for all those things that I wish I could find brand new at garage sale prices. The only reason I would not give this place 5 stars is due to the inconsistent customer service, however, if there are no questions it does not get better than this! read more

For months now the store has has such a limited stock it's not even worth going. You walk in it looks like they're going out of business. I understand initially with the Covid but come on what's going on months later this is ridiculous I don't know how they pay their rent in here. This is a somewhat large TJ Maxx, but by no means as large as the HomeGoods/TJ Maxx in Brentwood. This location has some higher end items that you won't find in the Antioch or 100 Oaks locations, but it doesn't seem the have great deals as the Brentwood one. This location seems to always be a mess, items strung about across the store. This isn't a bad TJ Maxx, but I prefer the location in Brentwood over this one. read more

So the selection of goodies at this TJ Maxx is a little less than the TJ in Brentwood. The RUNWAY selection is much smaller here and I was not really impressed with the homegoods selection here either. However, they do make up for it with shoes and clothes. I think this is a pretty good place to get yo browse on. read more

I always have a really good experience at this Tj Maxx. I buy all my designer bags here and they last forever. Pay attention to the brands you buy. I read a few reviews saying that they bought luggage that fell apart. Brand is important. Steve Madden, Calvin Klein are A+. I always spend hours in here and have never been harassed at check out to sign up for their credit card. There are some really sweet people that work here. read more

Pretty organized for a TJ Maxx. Of course that doesn't mean a whole lot. The prices are good and most of their goods are not junky. There were a lot of damaged things when I went. I don't mean little scratches, I mean damaged beyond repair. I know they do sell things that have scratches and nicks and whatever, but some of the things look like they were run over by a steamroller and then chewed on by a dog. I don't think the home goods section is worth the time due to this, but the clothing section makes up for it. I found the cutest little dress for my baby that even included a hat and it was crazy cheap. I'll keep this store in mind when I need to buy clothes for my little girl. read more

Tried to buy luggage here. The one piece of luggage was defected with scratches and white marks. When talking to the manager if he can discount it, his response is "well when you fly it will get ruined anyway." If that was the case, you might as well sell everything defected. So unhappy with the horrible management! Won't be going back. read more
