This is my local Target, but it's also my favorite among the several locations I've visited. The store is kept rather clean and the associates are generally friendly and helpful. I've never had an issue with items being out of stock or the store offering too low a selection. I don't do my grocery shopping at Target, as I find their prices to be more expensive than most other grocery stores (and Walmart), but some things I will hit up Target for include beauty products, home decor, and some tech products... quality and selection for these items always seem to be much better than the aforementioned stores. read more

It's your typical super target, not much to report on here. Produce is usually pretty good, the meat and seafood is priced a little higher than your typical supermarket but they put an emphasis on better quality stock. Sorry to report for my craft beer fans, their selection isn't very robust. Luckily, there are plenty of good options in the area if that's what you're looking for. The clothing sections seem to always be in a state of disarray and chaos. The staff is usually friendly and willing to help if you're having an issue. read more

I would have given this Target 5 stars, but I don't really enjoy their stocking process. They stock shelves at 8AM when the store opens. I prefer going when it's less busy, typically around opening time and there just seems to be a lot of pallets in the way of the isles. I used to really love this Target, but this past boiling hot summer of '23, we were shocked at how hot the store was. The salespeople were sweating too, and told us that the thermostat is controlled by people in NYC- just like Macy's. Ugh. It was so hot we had to leave, and the store was nearly empty. If you are coming to buy makeup, DO NOT COME HERE! I was astonished at how horrible and disgusting this target is. Random food wrappers & trash everywhere, open drinks crammed in random spots & the worst part was every single spot I looked at all the makeup was torn into! The foundations were splattered everywhere, boxes completely ripped into.. I used to work at a target and if I found one item open I'd put it in my 3 tier cart right away and ESIM it so customers don't go through this. Just down right nasty how the beauty team just looks the other way, how are you stocking things when everything is TRASHED!? Not sanitary at all DONT waste your time coming here. read more

Checkout is a joke. Only 2 registers with humans working them were open. When I have a cart full of stuff the last thing I want to do is check my own items. It's always like this. Love the selection and prices but checking out is a complete disaster. The people working the registers act as if they've never operated a register and have no sense of urgency whatsoever. So unfortunately I did not get the manager and the young man's name that just helped me and I feel horrible for not doing But it's Thanksgiving Eve And when I got home I realized that something I needed I purchased hadn't made it into the shopping bag I needed it desperately. I went back an hour after the store closed and hopes that I could catch somebody to retrieve the purchase for me. And although met with some initial hesitation since I was standing outside the door an hour after they closed the manager and the other young man went and retrieved my purchase and brought it out to me. I rarely have a pleasant experience at the smyrna target! It is always under stocked and under staffed! The manager Susan is a complete nightmare! She clearly wasn't appropriately trained because she doesn't under target policies at all! I was just charged 3x for an iPad and not once was I offered an apology by her or the other staff members working! I come to target to get helping to have a pleasant experience...if I wanted to be treated like crap I would have went to Walmart! Now I'm regretting ever going to this target! Total superstore with just about anything you could want. Was in town on business and this was a great place to stock up on items for the hotel fridge and anything else I forgot. Visits were during weeknights after work; lots of empty registers with cashiers at each end of the store. read more

The items I purchased are the same items they sell at Walmart for less. Second- I don't work for Target. It took me a while to come back after their change in restroom policy. Wow... took my elderly sister there yesterday to hit their electronics department to get a replacement flip phone... yes, a FLIP PHONE... because her Doro model she got at the Murfreesboro location of Target had been giving her trouble for ages... beyond poor battery life, etc. If she mailed it back to Consumer Cellular, it would take about 5 days for them to replace it with an Alcatel version. How is she to go that long without a phone??? (I can feel y'all cringing at the mere thought!) Anyway, we had called the Murfreesboro location, and I spoke with someone I will call "Mumbles", as he never spoke up, couldn't understand his name, and they evidently didn't have what she needed anyway. THAT store rarely has anything in electronics for Consumer Cellular, FYI. I don't even shop there anymore, as when one walks in, it's chaos. Stuff on the floors... jumbled shelves... a total MESS. No one seems to care. But, that's for another time. When I called the Smyrna Target, I spoke with Cody. He immediately checked his stock, and said YES THEY HAD ONE!!! HALLELUJAH! I told him we were on the way and would see him as soon as we got there from Shelbyville. He said he'd be delighted to take care of us. Upon arrival at THIS Target Superstore, what a welcome change! Bright, cheerful... all Halloween-y and awesome! Clear aisles, employees busy and doing their jobs... cheerfully!!! YAY!!! (Oh, upon going in? It smelled like buttered popcorn... YUMMMMM...) We went to the back where electronics is located, and I saw a young man straightening shelves. I asked him if he was Cody, and he was. I told him I was Tish, and he said he'd get that Alcatel phone out right away and take care of my sister. (He remembered the call. Mega points for customer service!) Then, a sweet young lady came to help as well... this is Aiko. Great name, right? She had a chair for Sandy to sit in while all the swapping of SIM cards, verification, sending contacts over... yada yada yada was going on. These two were the PERFECT example of teamwork!!! (I did fill out a comment card and drop it off at the service desk... suggested HUGE raises for the both of them... just sayin') This transaction, which has always been stressful and drawn out for my big sis in the past was fairly quick, entirely enjoyable, and TOTALLY stress free!!! If I could give more than 5 stars to the electronics department I would. And for the store's overall appearance? Definitely 5 stars for this visit. Murfreesboro... take note. My favorite store! So many reasons! 1) It's conveniently located from my house. 2) I can get all of my shopping done in one place - groceries, household, gifts, clothes, home decor, etc! 3) The store is always clean and organized 4) The employees are always nice 5) Great deals! I love my Target RedCard for 5% off my entire purchase and the great deals I find on Cartwheel 6) Store pickup is my new best friend when I need to pick up something really quick 7) Last year we bought a TV during black Friday, but did not move into our new home until end of March to find our TV was cracked! We were days after the return policy, but the store manager so generously allowed us to exchange it for the same TV. 8) There's a Starbucks!! 9) My usual wait at checkout is none, but 2-3 at most 10) My only complaint, wish they were open 24 hours! read more

I don't usually write reviews on chains, but I think this Target deserves its own because it's so much different than a lot of the other locations in the area. First, it has a Starbucks inside so that's basically like +1000 points right there. Plus it's right when you walk in so you can grab something before you start your shopping. Second, it's a super Target. Apparently those are somewhat of a rarity down here? By my old apartment in Goodlettsville, it's just a standard store with limited grocery options and whatnot. But this location has the full shopping experience. Plus the store brands that they have are always reasonably priced (generally on par or slightly lower than Kroger) and there is a fairly large variety. I always like going to this Target for food items because they seem to have a lot of the more obscure things I'm looking for. I'm looking at you Caramel Apple Oreos and Pumpkin Pie Poptarts! Plus everyone is super helpful (if you need it anyway) and I've never had a problem with the speed of checkout or anything of the sort. Minus the one time we had an old lady checking us out and I had bought like a bunch of fragile stuff. That was a little painful. But aside from that, no complaints! I'm glad my new apartment is literally less than a mile away from here. I'll be back! read more

I usually spend hours here at a time because it has everything and it's so big! But really, it has everything. Dog food? Check. Tampons? Check. Olive oil? Check. Garden tools? Check. Vegetables? Check. And the list goes on! This place is your one-stop go-to store. To the right of the store (when walking in), it's a grocery store with fresh produce, frozen dinners, multiple aisles of food products, and a bakery too. I think there's also a Pizza Hut and Starbucks inside. The rest of the building is a typical Target with home decor, office supplies, kitchenware, clothing, unicorns, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful when you need them, and the restrooms are clean. Love the area it's in too: a recently built shopping center that's easy to spot off the freeway, with Ross and Petsmart next door incase you can't actually find what you're looking for at Target in the pets and clothing department. But for at least 85% of your needs, you're likely to fulfill them here! read more

There are several aspects about this Target that have redirected my business here, rather then the Murfreesboro Target. I always have quick and friendly customer service here, something that you rarely found at the other Target. The store is bright and clean, they have a large parking lot, there are always carts inside, the people at returns are quick and friendly, their mark downs are easy to find, they have a starbucks, and they have a full grocery store. Which in my opinion, is what makes them a SUPER Target!! read more

This is the only Super Target in the Nashville area. I'm not sure why Nashville doesn't have any Super Targets, but I guess I'm not in charge of the Target locations. I enjoy the grocery section of this Target. With it being a Super, it has a lot more grocery sections than a regular Target. It also has a deli & a bakery. I buy deli meat from the deli. If you purchase 1.5 lbs of meat, you get .5 lbs of cheese for FREE! What a deal. As Targets go, there isn't much else to say. I get my prescriptions filled though this location & the staff are always helpful & friendly. One of my complaints about this location is they always seem to be understaffed with cashiers. I would like for them to be more proactive on the lines at the registers. read more

This is the best super target I've been to! We all know that Target makes you spend all your coins upon walking in ...just hand them over! We all know that target is known for their wonderful customer service. My visit last night proves it thus more . I've been on a hunt for this wrap scarf . I looked online & saw that the Smyrna location had it in stock (another feature I love ) . I called the store& someone was kind enough to put it on hold for me! I told them I would be there within the next hour . I used this tactic so I wouldn't be tempted to buy other things ! I rushed there in great spirits ! Get to customer service & they can't find it . Womp womp ... I waited patiently... I wasn't upset . I figured maybe someone moved it around . The lady I spoke to came over to me & apologized. She assured me that she put it on hold on the exact bin . Another person helped her look around the store. 15 minutes later the scarf showed up. The lady (didn't catch her name ) apologized again . They gave me a $3 off coupon that read "for our apologies .. " I assured them that they didn't have to do so! She told me the scarf had been discounted so I was lucky to have it! It really IS a Super Target. Super big, clean, has alllll of the regular Target stuff and more, and is also verrrry... you know, Target-y. It has a grocery store in it with fresh fruit and fresh fattening stuff. Also is next to a movie theater, a Panda Express, Kohl's, a hideously staffed Dollar store, New York Express, Claires, all kinds of stuff. So you get that, too. TIP: if you like something in the Pottery Barn catalog, look for it's low-cost alternative to show up at Target; Target basically copies Pottery Barn styles and offers their cheaper lookalike. read more

Went to this target because frankly it's cleaner and nicer than Walmart, had a hand basket of food and miscellaneous items and put my carrier on the cashiers conveyer belt. When it arrived to the cashier, he, David, began throwing and dumping all of my stuff out?! I couldn't believe it! I guess, unknowingly that's a code sign for battle. I asked if it was offensive to him that I had put my basket on his conveyer belt? I received no reply. I tried to think to myself how in the world that someone could misconstrue what I thought was a helpful act in such an aggressive manner. The man behind me had a hand basket as well...I warned him not to put the basket on the belt as apparently David found it offensive and his items would be quite roughly thrown out of it! I have friends who are cashiers and they appreciate it when a customer puts the hand basket of goodies on the conveyor. Say it's a bit easier. Not sure what the exact customer protocol is here, but I'm sure the cashier protocol wasn't appropriate. read more

This store continues to be the worst shopping experience I have had at ANY Target store and this is speaking as a fan of Target. Late in the evening there are NEVER enough cashiers open. There is no express lane open so with my 3 items I have to wait 20 mins to check out. No one in management appears to identify that 2 open registers with 5 people deep might require more registers to be opened. This is not my first experience of this nature at this store. I actually decided, after walking out the last time without purchasing my one item cause of the wait, not to go back to this location. Last night I decided to give them another chance and, as stated above, they failed to live up to the level of service I experience at every other Target I have visited. Again, if this was my first experience of this nature at this store, I would credit this to a bad day and move on. This is actually my fourth or fifth experience of this nature. That is no longer a isolated incident. That has become a pattern. I will no longer use this Target. I will drive a little farther to get better service at another location. read more

My favorite place to shop. Customer service is wonderful. What I love most about this target is the return policy. I have a 1 year old son- and some days I can't just go into a fitting room and try things on with him. So I take things home and if I don't like it- I return it. Once my husband took the tags off my sons outfit, before trying it on him and it didn't fit. We took it back and target gave us no problems at all. read more

I'm pretty sure this is one of the only (if not, the only) Super Target in the Nashville area. I always get super excited when coming in here because it is sooooo huge and there's so much to choose from! It's practically it's own grocery store and has everything else a typical Target does. Love the clothing selection and the fact that it's situated in a shopping center so you can pop around to other stores once you're done shopping here. It can be a little difficult to find staff because it's so massive - we once had a question but just had to leave the store and purchase elsewhere because no staff member could be found to answer our question.
