Stein Mart is the rare store that looks for what I want and offers it to me at fantastic prices,…read morebut can offer everyone in a group something, all at once. Over the years, I've shopped in 5 or more different Stein Mart locations and I most usually walk out the door with something good and sometimes, something great. I've been to the stores for homes and the clothing stores and the discount stores and no other store has the combination of items like Stein Mart. I can count housewares, bedding, clothes, and snacks among my regular purchases. Part of what makes the stores so good is that they mix discounted name brand products with cheaper but still desirable products at similar prices. When you go to other stores, they try to sell you cheap products with inflated prices that were never worth what they wanted, so that they can sell you on the discount. Then, there are places like Target that have reasonable prices and places like Kohl's that offer massive discounts to shoppers with their card. Stein Mart offers sales from time to time, but their regular prices are good. I wish all stores had me in mind.

TOTALLY A SCAM. !!!

Seriously, I don't know why I don't go here every weekend! Every time I am here, I do not leave…read moredisappointed. In fact, over the years, I have gotten everything for my house at HomeGoods. They have super cute items! If you are looking to brighten up your home or wanting to swap out some items for more of a seasonal look, you have to check out HomeGoods! Also-- The Mason location is situated right next to TJ Maxx and CityBird: it's a win, win!! The staff here at the Mason location was overly helpful. They were full of smiles and a willingness to help. One time, I was buying a picture that had a little mark on it. One of the staff members grabbed out a magic eraser and helped me try to remove it before I purchased it. Today, I was offered a tape measure to see if the dimensions would fit for something for my bedroom. Nowadays, I feel like everyone is short staffed, but HomeGoods was not. Everyone was helpful and super kind! There were people working the floor, as well as several women working the registers. I saw lots of people who were checking out the store on their lunch break, and I cannot think of a better idea! I left feeling hopeful in humanity once again, as well as with a few items to brighten up my house!

If you don't, do you like food? If the answer is "yes" to any of these questions then go to this store. It's also always clean, staff is always friendly, and they have a hold of their line system so you never need to wait long to check out. Just make sure you are prepared to mentally replace everything in your house. Also, if you like to cook, I always end up getting lots of great random ingredients, from rose water to vanilla bean paste to chocolate extract to fancy oils. Homegoods really is just my happy place.

The person working at BlueMercury was very disgruntled that I asked for a sample of foundation, even after explaining I have very sensitive skin. They also applied my blush in quite an unflattering way. Dude was pushing for a sale, but the sample broke me out when I got home so... You want better attention than Sephora, you'll get it here. You want a worse attitude? You'll also get it here. On a difference visit, after scouring several departments to ask a question, a Macy's employee was walking my direction finally. The convo basically went like this: "Excuse me, miss?" Angrily she says, "I can't help you, can't you see I'm with a customer?" (No one else around but her and I) "I was just looking for the pajamas?" Her manner and tone were the rudest I've ever experienced. If I was a Karen, I would have cared enough to get her fired. I just had a question that took a few seconds! The bright spot of this Macys is the baristas at the Starbucks. They were hilarious and kept it real. They hooked a girl up! So, if you find yourself lost in this Macys, grab yourself a latte and leave!

Usually just run into on accident and make it look like it was intentional, but I had no clue it was there. The aisles are clean and the service is good. The people who haven't been replaced by AI and bots who work there (if you can find them) which is a whole journey in itself help a lot. Once I've hunted them down they are very nice and knowledgeable on how to find the things I'm looking for in the clothing and more jungle called Macy's. However, I love that Macy's has everything and I value what they provide. Would highly recommend shopping at Macy's.
