Not quite...unless you're Grandma looking for bloomers. The "lingerie" selection here includes a room full of long nightgowns. You know the type: floor-length with a conservative collar and nothing that anyone under 60 would consider buying. Disappointed, I continued to browse the rest of the store. The other 90% of Gattle's is stocked with homegoods: custom monogrammed dishtowels, bath towels, place mats, and bedding sets. They also have gifts like rubber kitchen gloves with fur wrist lining. Or lotions and candles. Very, very expensive lotions and candles. $48 for an 8 ounce candle? That's way too much for something so small. Most of the products I viewed were imported from London or France, which explains the high prices. There were a lot of nice smelling items which I would have bought had they been half...well, two-thirds of the price. Have kids to shop for? This is a perfect place for Grandma to buy the grandkids something unique. There are all sorts of clothes and toys for the luxurious toddler. These are definitely special occasion items and mirror the prices of the candles. I did like how Gattle's has color swatches and examples of all their customizable bed and bath goods. This is definitely the place if you're looking for fine linens. Older, wealthy ladies will adore this niche shop. Unfortunately, it was just a little too pricey for me.

The store may be called One in a Million, but there is at least a one in ten chance you miss this…read morestore driving on Montgomery Road, especially if you're traveling south towards Kenwood. One in a Million is a "unique boutique," (as it says behind the desk in the store) specializing in "one-of-a-kind" homemade designer jewelry, as well as home décor items, handbags and fashion accessories, and other upscale gifts. The store, located across from the Mercedes-Benz dealer past downtown Montgomery and on the way to Kenwood, prides itself on its unique collection of jewelry from local, national, and international designers. Indeed the "wearable works of art" are unique, but of course that calls for high prices for the many earrings, rings, and necklaces, and the non-jewelry items too. One in a Million also has a lot of fancy home décor items and gifts, from something as simple as a lamp or candle to an elegant chess set or little dog figures for the dog lover. It makes sense why they say "unique gifts," as these weren't something you would find in just any gift shop. One in a Million has its share of ladies clothing and fashion accessories as well, and silk florals too. Now I don't wear jewelry or have a home for which I need to decorate, but I did think this was a very nice store. They had a large collection of unique items great for the home, in addition to their jewelry items, but I advise anyone planning to check this store out to come with a check book or a lot of cash. The items in this store were not cheap by any means, but if you can afford their items, then you could probably find a lot of great stuff. They even have an online store with many of their featured items as well, so check that out if you don't want to drive out to the store. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, but also by appointment.

They have super cute items! If you are looking to brighten up your home or wanting to swap out some items for more of a seasonal look, you have to check out HomeGoods! Also-- The Mason location is situated right next to TJ Maxx and CityBird: it's a win, win!! The staff here at the Mason location was overly helpful. They were full of smiles and a willingness to help. One time, I was buying a picture that had a little mark on it. One of the staff members grabbed out a magic eraser and helped me try to remove it before I purchased it. Today, I was offered a tape measure to see if the dimensions would fit for something for my bedroom. Nowadays, I feel like everyone is short staffed, but HomeGoods was not. Everyone was helpful and super kind! There were people working the floor, as well as several women working the registers. I saw lots of people who were checking out the store on their lunch break, and I cannot think of a better idea! I left feeling hopeful in humanity once again, as well as with a few items to brighten up my house!

It's also always clean, staff is always friendly, and they have a hold of their line system so you never need to wait long to check out. Just make sure you are prepared to mentally replace everything in your house. Also, if you like to cook, I always end up getting lots of great random ingredients, from rose water to vanilla bean paste to chocolate extract to fancy oils. Homegoods really is just my happy place.

I was a little surprised at how messy various areas were though. It seems like perhaps they are running on a small staff as I saw one person working in the whole store, at the cash register. If you're not familiar, At Home is just that, a huge everything for your home store. Upon entering is always the seasonal decor (holidays, outdoor, etc). Furniture is available for outdoors, and some indoors. I noticed they now have a few mattresses. There are linens for bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen as well as large area rugs. I love me some crazy organizing and they definitely have everything to foster this. Need to decorate any room in your house... They've got that, even kids rooms. Pet stuff has its own aisle. Kitchen gadgets, dishes, pots and pans, and silverware are mid store. I could go on, but you get it, they literally have everything. Join their free rewards program, as you'll receive excellent coupons in your email. I got one recently for 30% off one item, and was delighted to find out it was usable on clearance too! There are various clearance sections through out the store with some killer deals. I scored some patio furniture cushions on clearance! Otherwise prices are decent, mostly good deals. Products are of good quality. There are store maps as well as price scanners all around for your convenience. A sign up front mentioned delivery options for bigger items you may not be able to transport yourself.

I can't really say they have amazing deals and prices, but on some items, the cost seems competitive. They did have several clearance sections. Pricewise, it reminds me of a Pier 1 store. Some of their items and prices also reminded me of what you may find at home goods or TJ Maxx. I thought their wall decor was well-priced. They had a great selection of various sizes and prints. One thing I loved about this store is that they had items arranged in a room set up. This is great for a decorator that needs to see how things all go together! Behind the room set up, they had the individual items to purchase. This spot use to house Sams Club--and you can't even tell this store used to be located here! They did a great job with the store set-up and didn't even use all of the space. There is definitely space for them to grow! If you are in the mood to just walk up and down the aisles of a store to feel some inspiration, I would totally recommend this spot!
