Not quite...unless you're Grandma looking for bloomers. The "lingerie" selection here includes a room full of long nightgowns. You know the type: floor-length with a conservative collar and nothing that anyone under 60 would consider buying. Disappointed, I continued to browse the rest of the store. The other 90% of Gattle's is stocked with homegoods: custom monogrammed dishtowels, bath towels, place mats, and bedding sets. They also have gifts like rubber kitchen gloves with fur wrist lining. Or lotions and candles. Very, very expensive lotions and candles. $48 for an 8 ounce candle? That's way too much for something so small. Most of the products I viewed were imported from London or France, which explains the high prices. There were a lot of nice smelling items which I would have bought had they been half...well, two-thirds of the price. Have kids to shop for? This is a perfect place for Grandma to buy the grandkids something unique. There are all sorts of clothes and toys for the luxurious toddler. These are definitely special occasion items and mirror the prices of the candles. I did like how Gattle's has color swatches and examples of all their customizable bed and bath goods. This is definitely the place if you're looking for fine linens. Older, wealthy ladies will adore this niche shop. Unfortunately, it was just a little too pricey for me.

If you are reading this review and are old enough to remember what shopping for furniture; (for that matter anything in a retail setting where you may come in contact with a sales person was like in the 70's), then you'll certainly enjoy shopping this location. You are undoubtedly aware of the typical service you receive in retail nowadays. Possibly so much so that you have become desensitized to it. Several generations removed from their sales force counterparts, today's sales folk see a weekly paystub as their reason for clocking in each day...PERIOD. High pressure, worn out slogans, and bait and switch have become so commonplace that it is now the accepted norm. Not at BIG SANDY I have to be honest here and admit that we had purchased a Living Room chair from this location roughly eighteen months prior to our recent visit. We were so blown away by the store, it's cleanliness, It's attention to detail in the way their pieces were displayed and grouped, and most of all their staff, that we had returned in hopes of experiencing that same professional, knowledgeable engagement again. We were not to be disappointed, as our sales person from our first purchase was in house that day. His name is Bryan Bauer. I cannot say enough kind words to describe the impeccable care we received, (again), from this gentleman. Professional, Knowledgeable, Courteous, are the first three that come to mind. Earlier I asked if you were old enough to remember what shopping in a retail establishment was like in the 70's. A time in which each and every customer was treated like the "only" customer. A time in which sales folk literally would bend over backwards to do whatever was necessary to make sure that the customer was thoroughly satisfied with their Purchase Experience. If you'd like to re-live; or possibly experience for the very first time, what true customer service is, then please stop in and ask for Bryan Bauer. Stop by the Kenwood location and experience the "magic".

We were informed that if we bought the cleaning package we could get the couch cleaned at anytime. We have a few dye stains that were transferred onto the seats which big Sandy's cleaning company that we paid an extra $500 to do so has turned down our claim. The sales rep is no longer with the company! Be mindful of shady salesman & companies! This debris absorbs dyes, dirt, dust etc VERY VERY easily! The $500 is non refundable, and can only be used as a store credit! Save your money

Furniture is available for outdoors, and some indoors. I noticed they now have a few mattresses. There are linens for bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen as well as large area rugs. I love me some crazy organizing and they definitely have everything to foster this. Need to decorate any room in your house... They've got that, even kids rooms. Pet stuff has its own aisle.
