It seemed like their wasn't as much in there per usual but it could be holiday switchover. The employees were nice and seemed to be helping out many others in the store when I arrived. My only con was they were sold out of a lot of products so there weren't a lot to choose from their selection. I picked out a pot for my plants. The moment you walk in, you're already trying to take in all the textures and colors of the fibers tempting you! So many projects to inspire! Cindy, the owner, remembered me even though it had been at least 15 years. I told Cindy what I wanted to do and she gave me great advice, helped me decide on the colors and made sure I understood the pattern. Her store is easy to find, parking is right there and you'll want to linger. Be warned, you can get carried away by all the creativity you'll encounter. Her yarn selection is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Some of the distinctive artisan fibers will cost you a pretty penny but when you're investing time in an item, it's worth it!

It seems like it used to be a dentistry or medical office, in my estimation. There is plenty of parking out in front of the store. Inside, you'll find the walls covered with needlepoint canvases. Most are meant to be framed or made into pillows, but there is a section of belts. A sample beanbag frog sits on a stool, beneath more frog canvases. There are boxes and picture frames, which have a small opening to hold a completed needlepoint design. And several small designs meant to fit into those small openings. Near the cash register, there were leather key fobs. So you don't have to just make a pillow. Small projects are quick and manageable. I encouraged my MIL to try one of the smaller ones. One of the ladies who was running the store that day got my MIL all fitted out with a leather jewelry box, canvas to make a 3" diameter cricket, the floss and needles to stitch, and a mesh zipper pouch to hold her project on the road. The travel pouch was my suggestion, since I often hand piece quilts on the road, and I know how important it is to have your stuff ready to grab as you go out the door. That's the secret of getting hand work done. Bring it practically anywhere! All in all, a delightful place with everything one would need for stitching happiness. I asked if they'd mind doing mail order with my MIL, and we were told that they'd be happy to help out from a distance.

I never treat my customers like this! Reply to their comment... I don't know who this "Anne" is they're referring to but the item did NOT arrive in the time original time frame. Seller was NOT polite. Did NOT respond in timely manner. FOUR business days until I got a response. No weekends or holidays involved. I finally got it BUT ONLY due to MY chasing after it and literally having to drive to a PO some distance from me to get it. The seller did NOTHING! Don't blame the PO when you do NOTHING!
