The auto shop seems like the typical ones you pass by everyday, but it is different. When you walk in and talk to the mechanic, he is very polite and very informative and tells the real deal. He doesn't have you wait a very long time to get the car done. I was a walk-in today asking for help because my O2 sensor threads on my downpipe was completely stripped. He said that he will have his tech take a look and see if it can be done. He wastes no time and makes sure he doesn't waste yours. When he gets done with the car, he calls the customers right away and tells them that the car is done. There were couple of cars when I was there, but those cars were in and out and made sure the job was done right. I am glad my car got within today and didn't have to wait that long. I highly recommend this place to those who don't want to be sitting at a dealership all day waiting for the vehicle maintenance to be finished. read more

I have NEVER had a worst experience in a mechanic than I did here DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE FOR SERVICE HERE! I was greated nicely by the cashier when I first contacted him, he informed that service would be $110per hour for labor which is actually on the cheaper side. After bringing in my vehicle to be checked because of a problem with my A/C blower fan problem plus some issues with the car at ideal, he quoted me at $2100. He said my car was completely trashed and that if I drove it, it wasn't going to last me long. He said it was going to be $1100 for a "tune up" and the rest for a diognostic and the blower replacement. He said my vehicle also needed a oil change and oil filter replacement, funny because I have just done one myself less than 2 weeks before bringing it in to him. I came to pick up my vehicle one day but couldn't pay because there was a power outage in the Burien area, when I got to the shop my car was parked by the sidewalk with the passenger window completely open, 3 of the car doors open with the technicians being nowhere to be seen. One of them was leaving at the time and told me they left like that because there were doing a check on it, really? I came the next day then the cashier proceeded to quote me a total of $243.10 for a diognostic check which I paid.. it's all over I thought to myself right? WRONG! My headlights were not working whatsoever! Why? I wen't to findout. I brought my car back to them and the cashier had an attitude with me also saying I had to pay to get a diognostic! Disgusting. He didn't charge me after some more talking then proceeded to tell me that one of my fusses was blown.. true? Who knows... I wasn't going to write a review because I understand it's hard for business owners right now because of COVID-19 and just thought we were both having bad days. The reason I wrote this review is because while getting a spark plug change I found this (look at pic). I am done with these people man this is insulting, I don't know if this is broken but either way this wasn't like this when I took it to them. I almost wanna go back but I'm afraid they'll mess up my car even more than it already is. If there was a zero star I would have give these guys a zero man. Shame on these guys. This place has come under new ownership (in the last 3-4 months, not sure when) and beware they are doing very shady business. I came in, 5 minutes before 6:00pm in the evening on a Wednesday to ask for a free estimate. The new owner, Deedee (male), told me to bring my car back the next day so they could have time to do the estimate. I dropped my car off the following morning. He called me around 2:30pm and told me the two repairs needed and the price of $656 for both. When I came to pick my car up around 5:30pm, he said I owed them $98.50 for the estimate and he wouldn't release my car unless I paid him. What??? I never ever ever agreed to any work on my car. He said WA state law allows him to bill for under $100 if we touch anything on your car, and he can just extort this money without ever mentioning any cost. He then attempted to keep my car and my keys until I paid him. I told him I would not pay and I would have to call the police to come. This man was attempting to steal my vehicle from me! I never said I would pay for an estimate or any work on my car and I never signed any papers to that effect. Eventually his tech came in after hearing my distress, and convinced him in another language to stop holding my car. This is a person preying on people through intimidation and hoping you are too stupid to know that he's breaking the law. NEVER NEVER go here. Shady business and bad ownership! read more

The boys here did a great job with my car and helped me out a lot! I don't know much about cars but these guys sure did. I went to another place before this one and they couldn't even figure it out AND tried to charge me up the butt for the check up. My car (2008 Mazda3) was making a bunch of nasty sounds on the road and they got that fixed real quick. I haven't had any problems since! I am working with the Manager at this SHOP right now, trying to get a refund on work they did which was faulty. I had a coolant leak, brought my car in on Friday May 1, 2015, they identified the problem, upsold me on a few hoses, tried to sell me a timing belt, etc. I did agree to a top of the line oil change while my care was there. One week TO THE DAY later, I was stranded on the freeway with NO COOLANT in my car. I called them, told them I would let it cool down and fill the coolant tank on the side of the freeway. Luckily I made it their shop, it was a Friday night and told them to just keep the car and take their time to look at it and I will pick it up tomorrow. They called me on Saturday and said the problem was a Fan Clutch and would be $450.00 in Repairs. I already gave them $660.00!!! Well, I'm a girl, but I'm no dummy! My car did not lose all of its coolant from a Fan Clutch. I said No Thanks, I will come get my car. I took my car to Chaplin VW in Bellevue on Wednesday and they confirmed that the Flange T AUTO REPAIR installed had a twisted seal which was causing the loss of coolant!!! GRRRRR $300 to Chaplin, but my Car is running perfectly thanks to them (it's been 4 weeks since Chaplin had my car)!!!! In addition!!! The Day I got my car back from the initial $660.00 repair job which was Botched, my car had a weird exhaust smell in the passenger cabin that it never had before. I though it was from the oil change and would go away! Well, it has been over a MONTH and the smell is still there. I am convinced I have an exhaust leak somewhere that they caused, but I do NOT TRUST them to look at my car again. Also, when I took my car to the them the 2nd time, exactly one week after the initial repair when I had lost all of my coolant again on the freeway and they didn't identify that the work they did was botched, I unfortunately noticed a tear in my front leather drivers seat!!! I came here with my Toyota Corolla to do the emissions testing for my license tabs. It failed and I needed to get work done on my catalytic converter. I was told by T that he would try and get me a good deal on the part and service. Normally that sets off red alarms in my head because usually people that say that are going to screw your over!!! Well he lied they took over 45 mins just standing next to the car listening to the sound without even checking the engine. He came in and recommended me putting a new engine on my car which was going to be like $ 3000 supposedly. I took it to SeaTac import sports and they said it was a cam tensioner that was failing. Went in to have my EGR valve replaced. Been back twice with it still throwing the code. They tried to tell me that my fuel pump was causing the EGR valve code. I had a friend look at it and instead of replacing the O-ring they siliconed it in. Now their is silicone in the EGR tube. They told me they may have to order me a new EGR valve that is more expensive. They are funny if they think I'm paying for that. read more

These guys are amazing! They arranged towing, did a complete inspection to make sure that the problem I reported was the only problem, and came in with a final bill that was less than their quote. I had the parts on order, but they asked if I could have the car there before the parts arrived so that they could check everything out and provide service with no surprises. They did the work the same day that the parts arrived and even gave me a free oil change. Never have I received such customer-focused service from an auto repair shop. I will ALWAYS use T-Auto! Took my car to the people at T to fix a coolant leak, was told it had a cracked radiator and they would fix the problem, $600+ later they fixed the radiator, only to have it leaking just as bad a day and a half later. leads me to believe they only checked the radiator and none of the hoses. Taking it back in hoping that they do the proper analysis the second time and complete the job we have already paid them for. Under the impression they diagnosed the most expensive problem and didn't check for any smaller problems (ie hoses and smaller leak possibilities). Taking the car back to figure out the real problem, but will be the first and only time we take our vehicle to T Auto Repair. read more

I have taken a few different autos to T the first experience was emissions test and catalytic converter replacement plus tune up of a Honda accord. Terry was the service writer at the time. Everything was reasonable and the work was good. Then I took my Ford F-250 for a tune up (Terry no longer worked there). When i got home they called and said it needed brakes, radiator hoses and shocks. Here is where I made my mistake by not asking for a further estimate. When I picked up my truck the bill was $3000.00 they had changed my wiper blades and arms without consent now my stock ford has ugly plastic wiper arms instead of its metal chrome ones. They did not replace radiator hoses yet the old ones were now leaking which they did not before, (the replacement was meant to be preventative) they charged 4 hours labor to replace shocks plus 100$ per shock for parts (excessive). The spark plug wires they were supposed to replace during tune up were the old ones they just cleaned them and charged for new ( I removed one and checked the inside of the cap). The truck also leaked oil after the oil change . They replaced brake calipers and hoses instead of just the pads as I had discussed with T. The Anti lock brake light was now on and they could not fix it, and the brakes did not work properly, (it pulled to one side and made a horrible noise). To sum up my last experience I was over charged , charged for parts not replaced, charged for parts not authorized to install and had to pay another mechanic $800.00 to fix the brakes, the oil and water leaks that were not there before. Beware get an estimate for all repairs or better yet find a better shop. read more
