The renters who live here watched him take off the lock, make a mold, and copy a key for our front door. This is both unprofessional and unethical, not to mention against the law. These people are horrid, I would avoid at all costs. I have used Simon 5-6 times in the past with…read moreno issues, he is absolutely my favorite locksmith. But he was just starting out then and apparently is now too big for his britches. When I called today the guy laughed at me and was condescending and dismissive, so I said thank you I will call back. So then the woman that answered would not let me get a complete sentence in and I asked her if she could please let me finish a sentence before interrupting me and she said she would not book the job for me, they have no openings. Customer service at its all time low. If you ever have an issue I imagine you will get more of the same, they are so busy you have to let them be rude to you if you want service, just be forewarned. Edit- When I asked what the price was and was told $100 trip fee plus $160/hour one hour minimum, I was in sticker shock. After having shopped around I did find out nobody else charges this much. I do understand folks are willing to pay it because they are desperate, but that is the definition of price gouging. That along with the very rude attitude, felt horrible. It was a tough week and of course folks who call a locksmith are usually in a big bind. A little understanding would go a long way.

I never said how much are you going to screw me I said how much is this going to break me? You were…read moreshort and very dismissive. Because I wanted to look around for a quicker response. People have bad days maybe I caught you at a bad time but you were not accommodating and you could have been more understanding but when you hung up on me and you told me you wouldn't help me after 8 called back to make a certain appointment which I would have waited until Monday for you but then you got an attitude and so no you won't nook me. So I think it was the fact that I needed help faster and it upset you that I wanted to look around for faster and cheaper service. So you can try and play it off as you like but My son was sitting there listening to the whole conversation so twist it how you like on here but the Ruth is already out there. Deal with it maybe control yourself and don't be mad that people may need assistance faster or for a cheaper price because we are all not living equal some people are living on fixed incomes and are just as likely to call for help so compassion and a little understanding goes a long way. You made your decision and I stand by what happened so please don't make up stuff to look good. Thanks Mike B. You take care good luck.
