worked for this company. It's so sick that it should be closed down. Here is a list of why…read more I park the truck beside the build (in order to wash it) The owner tells me not to park there. (But yet let's others do it and there not even washing there trucks.) The point they wanted was for me not to have to make them move also they could be closer to the door. I was the only one who cleaned there tow truck each night after my shift. We have a manager who books tows and gets paid with out the owner knowing. What a manager right? Well the owner doesn't care. The owner can't keep his trucks fixed because people hotrod them and like to lock the breaks up when coming to a stop. Then I rode with each worker. Nelson does not tighten the straps on a vehicle when it is on a flatbed leaves it rocking back and forth windows up car off and a dog in the vehicle. (This is an ongoing thing) You have Greg who likes to lay on the horn immediately as soon as the light turns green to intimidate traffic with the tow truck. (This is an ongoing regular thing) Then you have Taylor the dispatch. I called the customer verify it's a tow the customer tells me she's seeking to buy a battery I'll let the customer know I will let our dispatch know so the proper vehicle could be sent out I am told by this particular dispatch that we are not servicing the customer to close the call out. Seeing how she is our dispatch which means therefore she is our boss I did exactly that. (Was highly upset when the customer and I was on a three-way call with AAA about the unprofessionalism) Then we have Dave. He claims to be their best driver but yet puts a Chevy trailblazer in neutral and a trailer park while it's on the incline it allows it to roll into the trailer. He was requesting a snatch block when all he had to do was pulling a neighbor's driveway and back straight up to retrieve the Chevy trailblazer. As you can see in the last two pictures I made an attempt to clean truck floor and was told I could not Park the tow truck in the building therefore not allowing me to detail the vehicle. The picture was taken to show the nastiness of it and how I try to improve the company. I haven't NEVER!! Had a damage claim in my life! Nor have I worked for a business where the owner doesn't care about his trucks nor his business & let's his workers do what they want when they want and just walk all over Rocky. I have & had to even take videos each time I pulled in or out of the business. I even have videos of workers leaving the office going home and leaving not only the gates open. But the building open for any and all to just walk in. When I try to let the boss know what was going on. He didn't even care. Then for me to called out my name based on my color of my skin really just to much. I had started looking for another tow company. About a week ago. Then I started looking I started recording people and how they treat each other. (This is to show the next places I applied to what I had to deal with.) So there is a list of why I gave them a one . & I'm sure they will not pay me my last check. But if they ever do. I will post that update here.

The men at this place are good, decent, honest, compassionate gentlemen. When a woman has to walk…read moreinto a service station alone because her vehicle has been acting up, it is a scary and dreaded experience; one that any woman can most likely relate to. She must somehow find the nerve to walk into a loud dark complicated looking place and approach at least one of the men standing around, to ask for help.... And for a woman, that experience doesn't feel much different from having to walk into a dark smokey tavern alone at midnight because she feels in some way, at the mercy of the men working there. My Jeep failed the e-check inspection because of a 'sensor issue,' and I had no idea what that meant, and was horrified at the thought of what the cost might be to have it repaired. As I approached the open garage entrance of Marathon, I spotted the mechanics, three, maybe as many as five working around the shop area, and I was all set for the usual - for them to either greet me with a cold unsympathetic stare, or look me down and then up, as if appraising my value like an old antique lamp. None of that happened; instead, one stepped forward and asked if he could help me and the others barely even glanced me once they saw that someone was assisting me. With trembling hands, I handed the mechanic the papers that reflected the results of the e-check inspection. I expected him to do the usual, which is to moan and sort of slap his forehead to impliedly let me know that the repair might require at least three of my paychecks. Instead, he looked it over carefully, and told me precisely what needed to be done, how long it would most likely take, and a ballpark figure of the cost. My vehicle was done within twenty-four hours, and the cost was precisely what the mechanic predicted it would be, and it passed the e-check. Upon paying, the mechanic reminded me that the part was under warranty and advised that I return if there are any problems. So far, I have dealt with four different mechanics at that [particular] marathon and each of them had impeccable mannerism and were professional and knew his job inside out... But most of all, they know how to treat a customer, as I felt valued and respected. They didn't make me feel stupid or 'childlike' for not knowing about the mechanism of my Jeep, and they took the time out to explain everything to me. And when I went to pick my Jeep up, I decided to get gas there, but the pump was a little different from that of the station I usually use, and when the mechanic saw that I was confused, he stepped outside the station and over to the pump and guided me, step by step on how to operate the pump. I feel grateful to now know that I don't have to face unnecessary fear when my vehicle needs servicing, and that means a lot to me.
