After doing an extensive search and talking to multiple vendors, I decided to go with Mark and I'm extremely happy I did. When I had Mark over for his free quote, it was immediately evident he knew his stuff. If you do your research, you'll find he's done giant home theatre installs, commercial work for restaurants and corporations and the regular TV/wire concealment jobs for residents. He was knowledgeable, thorough and extremely professional as he walked me through the effort and materials required and the pros and cons of different methods of installation. Mark is the kind of guy who measures twice and cuts once. When I hired Mark, I wasn't sure how exactly I should place the TV's, what the right height was or where on the wall the TV's should sit. Mark helped walk me through different options and recommend optimal placement for both viewing and aesthetic value. He measured and placed the TV's perfectly centered on the walls and completely level (I even double checked with my own leveler). There really wasn't more I could ask for from Mark and his service. He did a flawless job and offered a very fair rate. He even had his own vacuum and cleaning supplies to clean up after himself so you never even knew he was there. I highly recommend using Mark if you want the job done right and at a great price.

We got started on the mounting and realized it was a bigger job than we were prepared to complete. We made an appointment for Mark to come out. Mark did an absolutely fantastic job concealing our cables behind the wall and adding an outlet so that we could safely mount our tv by code. He was on time, prepared with all of the materials, and very friendly. He worked quickly and carefully. When the job was finished, he cleaned the area and placed everything back where it was when he arrived. He was even kind enough to level our TV (which my husband and I had mounted just a tad crooked). I would absolutely call him again and recommend him to friends and family.

Steve showed up on time and was able to fix my poor attempt at installing dimmers. He made sure it was installed safely, and gave me pointers on the best lightbulbs for my fixtures. Neither did the installer offer me any opportunity to buy an extended warranty for the Receiver (only $149 for 3 years), (the item has now failed - less than 2 months after the install) Installer has been slow to return my calls after the install. He inferred I was fortunate to receive the deal I did because of the pricing he charged me on the hardware - like *that* should be the reason I should *accept* the fact that he hasn't delivered the options any normal person would get if they bought the Receiver *themselves* in the store. The Amp has failed and I might have to buy another because of a power surge. The installer himself procured the Receiver @BestBuy & delivered it to my home. The Amp is a $1000 item if I go back and buy it myself. Steve alludes to the fact that he gave my a *deal* on the Receiver which I believe. But, nothing excuses poor communication with your customer and not leaving a detailed receipt and offering them thier paperwork on the Hardware. Who owns the Hardware Steve? You? or Me? If it's me - why wasn't I offered the opportunity to buy the Extended Warranty? The BB Extended Warranty covers Powersurges, the Manufacturers does not. It remains unclear whether or not the failure of the Receiver was actually caused by a powersurge (there were no storms in Nashville the night of the failure) or whether this was a simple Manufacturers Chip-set failure on the Motherboard. One thing *is* clear, is that Steve Greiss, with All Wired Up, remains recalcitrant in his communications after the sale and service. Shall We Clear this up? Or take this further?

I got three bids from Best Buy:Magnolia, another contractor, and Prodigy. Magnolia guys where not very responsive and I repeatedly had to follow up with them so made me feel like a number. The independent contractor was also very good and probably would have done a good job too but his business was very small which could leave me hanging in the future should I have problems. Prodigy sent over Ryan B. and he demonstrated that I was dealing with a whole other level of pro. His depth of knowledge, understanding, and willingness to lend a perspective on where I should focus my investment and where I can perhaps save was very helpful. Ryan gave me three bids - high, medium, and low- and explained the pors and cons to each. This is why I went with Prodigy. They were not the cheapest but demonstrated they have a sustainable business too support the technology, service to deliver professionally, and support to give me piece of mind that my investment will be maintained. I want whomever sold to support it and Prodigy feels like they will be around for awhile should I have problems in the future. I highly recommend Prodigy.

They have been excellent getting all of the pre-existing equipment working (including repairs and…read moreupgrades where needed) in the home I bought. They do it all- tv's, projector, alarm system, phones, whole home audio, wireless internet and they even replaced an HVAC system. I can not recommend John and his crew enough. He has even come out to tweak the existing lighting presets when I wanted to make changes. No concern is too little and the quality of the work has been exceptional.
