Watching this company remove the tree was one of the most professional things I've ever watched. These guys are as skilled as it gets. Knowledgeable, safe, and efficient! You seriously could've set a China cabinet beneath this tree while they cut it down, and it would've been unharmed. Not to mention, we are in Clintonville, where space is extremely limited to get large equipment maneuvered, but these guys did it without missing a beat.

While their actual tree take-down and stump grinding was done well, the removal crew arrived early morning the night after a torrential downpour. When they arrived, they should have seen the wet conditions and left immediately and called to reschedule. Instead, they put down heavy, rubber lawn "protectors" which only served to damage property. Yes, there is a clause in the contract stating they aren't responsible for lawn damage, but this was negligent damage. Something completely different. They also trespassed on my neighbor's lawn - which they didn't have the authority to do and most of the damage was to his lawn. I don't know what happened to my flowerbed edging. It looks like they dragged the tree trunk through it, completely demolishing it. On a positive note, Charleston, who did the stump grinding, was a delight. After the fiasco damage from the last crew, he carefully followed my instructions on where to drive and place the grinder. He even took extra time to remove more of the pine chunks after I asked him to do so. I did ask for and received a discount on the invoice, but the main point is the damage should not have occurred to begin with had the tree removal crew noted the wet yard conditions and rescheduled. So, if you hire this company, be sure you are home when they arrive so they don't trespass on your neighbor's property. And if conditions are not ideal for the work they are contracted to do, that you intercept them so they don't damage property as much as they did with me.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM…read more I have been happy with One Call lawn care for years except for this year I had dead grass appear all over my lawn in all places but not my adjacent neighbors who have NO lawn service. The lawn between the curb and the street was also terrible and was blamed on too much sun (in April?) where the neighbors grass with NO lawn service was fine. I was told too much shade for some dead grass but no explanation where the grass received plenty of sun. They split seed my yard to fill in the dead patches but NONE of the grass grew. (old grass seed?) I believe the split seeder ran out of seed but the guy just kept going I planted a tree and put down my own grass seed and all of it grew with no problems. This summer I had DOZENS of 6 to 12 inch weeds and thistles in my back yard and the guy who put down fertilizer just ignored them. I had to kill all of them myself. It's November and I STILL have dozens of weeds throughout my yard. I would have recommend One Call Lawn Care in the past but now I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM
