He came to give me an estimate on Saturday and spent five hours on Sunday cleaning up our entire garden. He came back to edge and mulch the garden, front and side yards. Now he returns weekly to keep things neat and trim. Reasonably priced and he's a nice guy who does excellent work.

Was told that the job should be easy to fit into their schedule and could even be done on a rainy day. Was later told that would not be good as the soft lawn would show the marks made by wheelbarrows. In any case it was several weeks before the job was started. The job was started and on the area that were done it was a good job. Late .in the day it started to rain, heavily. The foreman asked for the rest if the payment, half had been paid on the initial request. My wife stepped outside to verify that the job was completed. She checked what she could see and admittedly missed the fact that the crew had completely missed a tree alongside a large brushy tree combo that was never touched. It was pouring hard at the time and she simply did not see it.They had also missed a rose bush in the rear. The crew left and when emailed about their not completing a job they had contracted to do. The tone of the reply was a brusque 'you should have told us when we were there. Thanks for your business. Good bye'. Nice. This is what happens when there is a shortage of decent landscapers in this area. They are so fat in their bookings they could care less about one disgruntled small customer. I find that attitude unprofessional in the extreme. I expect that there excuses will be as predictable as irrelevant. 'We can't be constantly running back to do touch up work.' So their declaration is that they are done when they say they are done, never mind what they were contracted to do. These were not small areas. One area was 5 feet across, the second area was 7 feet across. Did their own foreman bother to check before announcing job completion? Did they care that they had not fulfilled their contact. Obviously not. Bottom line, job contracted and paid for was not completed. All else is noise.
