When I contacted JK with the issue I was told he found it hard to believe it was not glued (why would I make that up it's a safety issue). And he would send someone one more time. One more time? I only had them out previously for the cleanup. He really needs to work on his customer service. Will not use them again.

He came out and listened to what I needed and was able to make suggestions. He took the time to walk all of my property and explain what was needed to fix my drainage issue in my backyard. Not only did he and his team fix the issue but also made the fix look really nice and reseeded my back yard as well. Josh is great and really cares about his customers. His entire team worked hard and did a fantastic job. A pleasant group of young men. I will be using JK Landscaping again to do some decorative landscaping and replace my fence in the future. The photos, taken after a rain storm, show the area that used to be a "pond" after every rain. No more pond!

Norm Pitzer came out the next day after our request for explanation of how he would solve our front…read morelawn problem and give us an estimate. His would be our second contractor estimate. We decided on Pitzer because he answered all of our questions clearly and explained all the steps to bring our yard back to health. He showed up the days he said he would (weather on our side) and did absolutely everything he promised would be done. We have a large front yard that required setting up four hoses attached to four tripods. He came back twice to adjust the tripods and explained the watering process importance to us. He comes back out two weeks after the initial seeding to see how it is doing and add any seed if necessary. We could not be more pleased with his skill and his service. Would recommend him to anyone serious and willing to work the steps to get a great replacement lawn. Richard and Vicki Stoddard Columbus, Ohio

Be cautious with Tom Taber's Whole Tree Care by Trapper's Tree Service. I recommended their…read moreservices to two of my neighbors, but afterwards discovered problems with their last job for me (e.g., the stump grind in 2016). Gale (I assume their sub-contractor) was to contact me BEFORE coming out to do the tree stump grind so I could give my neighbor a heads-up to remove their fence panel for complete stump access. Not only did Gale (or anyone from Trapper's for that matter contact me in advance) but the job was done when I was out of town. Since I was not home (or notified) I did not have time to request that my neighbor have his fence panel removed which he agreed to do if I gave him the heads up. The fence panel needed to be removed so that the grinder could access the complete stump via my neighbor's property. Also, this company left me with a huge pile of mulched wood to clean up which I would have been more than happy to pay to be removed. Once I removed the large pile of mulched wood from the stump area, to my disappointment I found that the stump grind had not been completed. I followed up with this company with no return phone calls or emails. I can not recommend this company.

Buyer beware. Did a reasonably good job but blew it on his exit. Booked this company to do a…read morerelatively small job, mainly mulching and edging. Was told that the job should be easy to fit into their schedule and could even be done on a rainy day. Was later told that would not be good as the soft lawn would show the marks made by wheelbarrows. In any case it was several weeks before the job was started. The job was started and on the area that were done it was a good job. Late .in the day it started to rain, heavily. The foreman asked for the rest if the payment, half had been paid on the initial request. My wife stepped outside to verify that the job was completed. She checked what she could see and admittedly missed the fact that the crew had completely missed a tree alongside a large brushy tree combo that was never touched. It was pouring hard at the time and she simply did not see it.They had also missed a rose bush in the rear. The crew left and when emailed about their not completing a job they had contracted to do. The tone of the reply was a brusque 'you should have told us when we were there. Thanks for your business. Good bye'. Nice. This is what happens when there is a shortage of decent landscapers in this area. They are so fat in their bookings they could care less about one disgruntled small customer. I find that attitude unprofessional in the extreme. I expect that there excuses will be as predictable as irrelevant. 'We can't be constantly running back to do touch up work.' So their declaration is that they are done when they say they are done, never mind what they were contracted to do. These were not small areas. One area was 5 feet across, the second area was 7 feet across. Did their own foreman bother to check before announcing job completion? Did they care that they had not fulfilled their contact. Obviously not. Bottom line, job contracted and paid for was not completed. All else is noise.
