My wife and I were staying in Perrysburg for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. I had read great reviews for this place and we were not disappointed. We got the beer cheese dip and split that days special, 2 coney dogs and fries. Our waitress was great and was knowledgable on the beers and knew what to recommend based on my tastes. The food was amazing and we left with leftovers and full bellies. We will definitely be coming back if we ever visit the area again! read more

I've had the pleasure of dining at Swig a few times. Once was a fun family afternoon with iced tea and hot dogs. The other was a casual but very enjoyable date night. Swig is perfect for both! The food and drinks are excellent. I was very pleased with the variety of choices both on tap as well as bottled. The menu is smaller than many places, but the options are all pretty tempting. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Even parking is fairly painless for being located on the main street thanks to the lot at the rear of the building. If you're hungry (or thirsty) in Perrysburg stop by Swig! read more

Tried it again. Place is clean. Service attentive. Food still sub-par. Read the marketing hype about "gastropub" and "original Coney" -- it's all a caricature of itself. Not much in the way of local choices, so you may end up here regardless of the quality. Good luck! read more

I wish there was room for more than 5 stars. One of the rare places in the world where you could have Helen Keller order for you. Everything is amazing, but please start with the BLT. read more

Unique delicious menu! Cool outdoor patio and a large variety of draft beers on tap. Music in the summertime! Downtown Perrysburg place to be! read more

Swig has one of the best-and most unique- beer selections in Toledo. Great venue for live music and sitting outside during the summer. Along with beer, they make their own sausages and hot dogs. Awesome Italian sausage, and their homemade ketchup seals the deal read more

One of the best spots in the region. Small but eclectic menu with weekly specials that constantly rotate, and you will always find a beverage that you will love. Get. To. SWIG! read more

Great food, great beer options. Restaurant is small and there is no waiting area during the rush. Essentially if your waiting, you stand 3' away from the tables and it's a bit awkward. read more

Love Swigs fries and philly! My favorite. Burgers are great too and service is always good!

They had live music, which it was great but it makes it difficult for conversations. Food was great, good flavor, wide beer selection. And the service is great!. read more

I enjoyed a fantastic Duck Ruben. The smoked duck was flavorful and moist. The homemade catsup had a nice tang and wasn't runny. Even though it was busy we were served drinks while waiting for our table. Definitely a place to visit. Lots of tasty looking dishes on the menu. read more

I am so sad. I love Swig. I love their food and service in the past has been great. Sat at the bar tonight and ED was the bartender. Horrible!! My friend and I completely ignored. We had to ASK if we could order a drink. We had to ASK if we could order food. Never asked how our food was. C'mon Swig you can do better!!! Felt like we were inconveniencing him read more

I was in for the first time a week ago, the patio was awesome, and the food was great! There is a really nice beer selection available, and it was very busy when I was in, but the service was fast and attentive. I will most definitely be back soon, and would highly recommend everyone giving it a shot. The sweet potato tots with Pan-Pacific sauce are incredible! read more

I only stopped here for a beer and a quick bite to eat with an old friend, but I enjoyed the experience. I just moved to Perrysburg a week ago, and I heard that was a good spot to hang out. They have a great selection of draft beer. The waitress showed us the list on a receipt... Little weird. The Hot Feta Dip was awesome! It is not spicy, so don't let that scare you from getting it. They could probably add a few more veggies to dip into it, ours only had about 5 small pieces of green peppers. I ordered the Cleveland dog with a side of onion rings. I would have never thought to add a piece of bacon to a coney dog... Brilliant! It was marvelous! The onion rings were also some of the best I have ever had. They are crunchier than most onion rings, which I enjoyed. The food is very affordable too! We sat out on the patio... Can't go wrong with a nice patio. Apparently they have live music pretty often. I am looking forward to coming back at a livelier time and trying some other menu items! read more

Who does not love craft beer and craft dogs! The hot dogs were just as you would imagine: crisp, flavorful, and great tasting. The best part was the order of Frankenstein wings -OMG is an understatement. And of course the craft beer selection is just awesome. From session beers to major mouthfilling brews! Room for improvement: Please use fresh bakery buns with those awesome dogs! I think there is a local bakery across the street? And use fresh shredded cheese, not the potato starch coated shreds from the store. Your dogs deserve better! read more

We had an enjoyable lunch here at Swig on a lovely fall day. The pretzel charcuterie was nicely done and tasty, plenty for two. The patio was pleasant and the staff attentive and friendly. Looking forward to another visit to try more sausage and duck breast. read more

We had a great time at Swig tonight! The beer cheese dip with soft pretzels was delicious- 10/10 would recommend. The reversed wings were enjoyable and a great twist on a historical food item. Jamaican Jerk sauce was not my favorite, but I'm not sure why. Would consider trying a different sauce next time. The sweet potato tots were amazing and the sauce with it was wonderful - perfect mix of sweet and savory. I also had a hot dog, which was a very standard hot dog. I added ketchup and mustard to mine, but there were many fun options to add to any hot dog! We will definitely go back sometime and look forward to checking out trivia night there! read more

Swigs seems to be a great place to come and hang out with a friend however the place is kind of small and doesn't offer much on the television scale if you are looking to watch 'the game'. The food here though is delicious although it is slightly priced higher than most burger places I would go here to support the little guy. read more

Stopped here on a road trip looking for a sit down meal along I-80. What a treat! Setting in Perrysburg, possibly cutest town in Ohio, was fun; we ate on the patio. Food was great: we had the beer cheese, supercharged Caesar, and boneless wings ("chunks"). Service was excellent. Only issue was they were rotating taps so several of the beers I selected weren't available. Overall it was a fantastic place! read more

Try the scotch eggs, sausage and fried twinkies... heaven! Great beer selection, especially if you like dark beers. They tend to stay busy for such a small spot, so come early! read more

Generally I like the environment, even though it is a bit narrow and cramped, since there is a nice feel to the place. The menu is rather simple and is sandwich focused, but the food quality is pretty good. Each time I have been there the service has been so so. The place can get pretty crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. They have some decent beers which is good. Overall worth a try and go to once in a while. But unless you are there for drinks, not enough menu items to eat at regularly. read more

Been here a few times and had good homemade sausages and hot dogs. Came for salads regardless of other reviewers, The chicken Caesar Salad with Kale and Arugula was excellent. The Hanelia ? was ok. Maybe 2.5* The smoked chicken was dry. The lettuce mix was fair but not great. read more

My favorite place for wings, amazing. The reversible ranch wings are WONDERFUL. Staff is friendly, clean and a good atmosphere. :-)

Best place in town to get those rare beers on tap. Sure you might be able to find the beer it's self in Andersons but here you can get it on tap, as it's meant to be enjoyed. The brewer take over nights are real nice! They also have a nice selection in the beer cooler if you don't see what you like on tap. Beer snobs, this place is for you. Menu has a great selection! My favorites are the horseradish cheese cubes and the duck ruben. Leave yourself some room and try the chocolate covered bacon ice cream! The in-house made meats are another reason to give Swig a try. read more

We've been here a few times now and always enjoy ourselves. It's relatively small inside, especially in the winter when the patio is closed off. But the atmosphere is lively, warm and comfortable. They always have a large selection of craft beers. I tend to not like the real hoppy IPAs and our server tonight pointed me to Madtree Lift - a light, refreshing Kolsch that was nice & cold. My husband had the popular duck reuben & I had a Cleveland dog (all-beef frank with bacon, chili sauce, mustard & shredded cheddar). We split another popular dish for dessert - the chocolate bacon sundae. Yum! read more

I have always heard amazing reviews but being from west toledo i don't often venture to that side of town. It's in the cute old downtown of perrysburg with nice patio seating. The girlfriend and I got Frankenstein wings, chicken chunks and fries. The wings and fries were by far the best. They have a phenomenal craft beer selection and provide flights. I plan on frequenting this place often especially since it's conveniently located next to the river so a motorcycle ride there is nice. read more

I've been to Swig a few times. I went for lunch over the weekend and the food was great, as usual. I had the BLT with fries. I've had their dogs, scotch eggs, and burgers. Everything I've ordered there has been delicious! A must try is their pineapple bacon sundae. It's excellent! The sundae is big so it's a good dessert to split. They have a great beer selection and you can try a sample size of any craft beer on their menu before you buy. The staff is friendly and always has good beer recommendations. An excellent stop for lunch or dinner. read more

Only downside: large crowds and lengthy wait times if you go on the weekends but it is WELL WORTH IT! Grab a beer while you're waiting. Small local bar, but not a dive bar. Excellent craft beer selection, friendly service, awesome food. I love their spicy ketchup and handcut fries! read more

I go here to satisfy some of my Chicago cravings. The Chicago style hotdog is pretty good but it would be great if they would steam the bun. This is a must on any authentic Chicago style hotdog but still good. The Italian beef sandwich is very good as well and I love the giardiniera. It your a fan of places like Portillo's in Chicago, this will hit the spot until your next visit to the Windy City. read more

I have been at this restaurant three times I get the BLT they're usually very large portions you can get in a half a pound of bacon or whole pound of bacon. Today I went and I think I got four slices of bacon I don't think the whole sandwich weight half a pound . disappointed they are not consistent in their portions. prices are high $10 BLT for half a pound and chips on the side that come with the sandwich. The atmosphere was semi clean and very loud read more

I love swig's Food I love their atmosphere they have great beers great service and delicious sandwiches

We went out for dinner a couple of Friday nights ago. We chose Swig because my husband had been dying to try it and it was within easy walking distance. The service was great, the food was good and the atmosphere was nice! My kids (ages 2 and 10 months) even enjoyed themselves. They were out of the beer I had selected, but suggested a few others that were similar. Overall we would definitely return! read more

I went there right after a street event had taken place close by and the place was packed, but I was able to find a place at the bar and despite the server being very busy she was very accommodating helping to choose a local brew. I had a perch po boy which was quite good. Definitely would go back. happy trails read more

I don't often feel so strongly about a place that I immediately feel the need to review it. Swig makes me feel that way, an absolute must try for anyone in the area. If you are looking for stunning decor, this is not your place, however if you are seeking sandwich type food at great prices, it is hard to beat. I actually ordered mussels, which I was hesitant to try there, however they were ultra fresh, and taste was wonderful. Food (butter burger, perch, and french fries) was delicious! Service was good. Would definitely eat there again!

We have been here multiple times. Last evening however was unfortunately probably our last. We were seated inside because there was a wait for an outside table. As soon as we were seated we could see why people waited to sit outside. The floor under our table was disgusting and full of crushed Cheerios, obviously a child had been there but it could have easily been swept. There were also so many flys we were constantly batting them away while we ate. We ordered drinks which took way too long for a beer and lemonade. The drink menu is always good which is why we have gone in the past. We both ordered from the specials for dinner. One of which they were out of. My sandwich was so soggy that I could only eat the meat with a fork and left the bread behind. My husbands onion rings were too over cooked to enjoy. With new restaurants going in nearby we no be returning and most likely trying something new. Definitely sad that Swig has fallen off our radar. read more
