Burgess Orchards was one of the highlights of our road trip through northern Utah! From the moment…read morewe arrived, it was easy to see why this family-owned orchard has such a great reputation. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, creating a relaxed, hometown atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The fresh peach we bought was absolutely incredible--perfectly ripe, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the difference that comes from fresh, locally grown fruit. We also treated ourselves to a cherry sundae, which was refreshing, delicious, and the perfect way to cool off on a warm day. The real surprise, though, was the apple cider donuts. We bought half a dozen thinking they'd last a while, but they disappeared much faster than expected! They were soft, fresh, perfectly coated in cinnamon sugar, and easily some of the best donuts we've had. If you're driving through Alpine or exploring Utah County, Burgess Orchards is definitely worth a stop. Whether you're looking for fresh fruit, homemade treats, or just a fun local experience, this place delivers. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area, and we'll probably leave with even more peaches and donuts than we did this time! Check out our video on our socials @reessroots

I was craving boba tea last weekend and routed a spot on the way home. I'd been to a kung fu tea…read morebefore but it's been years. I walked in and the place was bright and clean. I wasn't sure what flavor I was wanting so I went with the kung fu milk tea (black or green, I went with black) since it's a best seller. I normally ask for half sweet but I wasn't thinking and ordered quickly lol I was worried because I read some reviews about drinks being too sweet. Regardless, it was thankfully the perfect sweetness and satisfied my craving. The service was fast and friendly. I'd come here again. I also saw you can get your drink caffeine free or with different milk option. I'm not sure I've seen that at another boba place before, or at least been aware of.

This is a brightly lit, colorful establishment that sells boba as well as other tasty tea concoctions. You order at the counter, then find a table to sit and sip. Sprinkled throughout, there are different table top games that you can play with your friends. It's a very welcoming place that invites people to come hang awhile. As for the tea, I absolutely loved my hot Longan Jujube Tea. It was the perfect flavor-fruity, but not too sweet and warmed me up on this cold January evening. Service was happy and fast. Come take your drink to go, or stay awhile!

They have a few young girls who work this business and they were socializing and chatting away causing orders to get backed up. Especially didn't like the fact they didn't tie their hair up or back as I saw it going into the shaved ice a few times. Luckily it wasn't my orders. When I asked what flavors included Tigers blood, both girls inside the food trailer didn't hVe a single clue. I get that they are both kids but how does this business expect people to come back when the service doesn't match the quality of shaved ice. Did bring memories of Hawaii. Mahalo.

Pros: Super friendly staff, cute little shack. . Tips & Faves: Ask for a straw when it's a really hot day it melts fast. Then you can slurp it up. Mmmmm;) . I love love fried chicken...I enjoy having fried chicken at sit down restaurants or fast drive…read morethroughs...from national brands to international versions! I like it all and actively look for fried chicken wherever I am It's with this fried chicken obsession in mind that I made a bee line to Houston Tx Hot Chicken which I found on Yelp. First let me say the design and aesthetic of this restaurant wins hands down; beautiful ins store imagery and signage. However, it all about the food! I ordered : 1) A classic chicken sandwich, mild sauce, combo (comes with fried and drink) And because I didn't want to miss out on their other sandwich...not like I'm here everyday ! 2) An original sandwich ( only) with mild sauce. 3) Mac and cheese for good measure This was a "linner" for me and frankly was hungry but also wanted to try as much of their offerings as possible. Whether it's the classic or the original, I didn't like either sandwich...the chicken of either sandwich wasn't crispy or moist, which I found strange considering both had a sauce. The adding of the sauce didn't help at all. I chose the mild and medium and were in spice/hot range that I was comfortable with. The fries were crispy and my favorite part of the meal. The Mac and cheese were sort of gummy and lacking in flavor (cheese flavor and salt). The service was friendly, helpful and fast but it's all about the food and I may never come back.
