I went inside to order a drink, and before I could even place my order, the employee told me it was going to take a long time because the drive-thru line was really long. She said I could still order if I wanted, but it would be a while. It left me feeling like they didn't really want to take my order inside and were discouraging walk-in customers. What made it more confusing was that when I went outside, the drive-thru line really wasn't that long. I completely understand that busy times happen, but the interaction made me feel unwelcome. I hope in the future all customers--whether they're inside or in the drive-thru--are made to feel valued and encouraged to order. read more

The drink tasted good but was 3/4 ice and had like 7 boba. For the price of adding bobas, that's like 10 cents each. Super disappointed!

I am not used to lots of soda shops where I live. I tried the fresca strawberry drink. The service was very quick and they have a drive thru. The drink was was so good. I could visit every day. I especially love all the flavors you can add. read more

Zach?? (not the curly hair kid but the other young white guy) is literally the worst person I have ever met! I've come to this swig for four years. I have never had an issue. I just got a drink made today and It tasted awful so I called when I got home to ask if I could come back to have it remade. On the phone he said "ah yeah just this one time we'll remake it" (so you're telling me you make something wrong and I pay for it???) When I got there, he said what do want instead.. I showed him my drink and asked if they changed the way they make it because I've ordered it for many years and it's never looked like that. he told me nothing has changed and that looks exactly like it should. Which it did not !! He was not helpful. He was rude and smiling and laughing while I was frustrated with his immature behavior. We went on a windy rainy day and they had a side out there in shorts with no umbrella taking orders. I felt so sad for him!! He was so nice though. My kids had never been so they wanted to read the entire menu and he was very patient. I got the coco cocoa and it's actually pretty good! It's water-based so I expected something thin and bland but it was rich and creamy. Good work, guys. Amid the craziness that our world is currently experiencing, Swig provides a sweet treat and a little reprieve for those of us that are feeling the stress. Although the lobby was closed, they were still making drinks and handing them out via the drive through. The line was a bit long-maybe five cars in front of me, but it went quickly. I had just enough time at the large menu to review it and decide what I wanted before it was time to drive forward and place my order. Service was friendly and my drink and cookie were ready in no time. I do recognize that the staff is mostly young people who may be learning their first real-world job, so my patience is heightened. I'm glad to see these kids out there learning some responsibility. And the dirtball cookie really IS best with the mint frosting! Try it! read more

My Mom was visiting from out of town so she wanted a swig drink. She doesn't have it at home. On the way to the airport we drove by and a car was in the drive thru at the window so we pulled in. So excited! We waited about 4 mins then pulled forward. The window employee informed us they would not serve us because they are not open yet. Confused, we asked about the vehicle in front of us that did receive a drink. They told us "she is my mom". Some back story, we celebrated Mother's Day by attending Hope of Isreal last night at Abravanel Hall. Only 1 of us 5 lives in Utah. The rest traveled from multiple states. We explained THIS IS OUR MOM! They informed us again they are not open yet. I recognize we did not verify the hours of operation. As a passer by we saw the vehicle in the drive thru and pulled in. I went to the Swig in South Jordan Utah at the Trail Crossing location. I frequent this location at least 3 times a week but the last three times I was there the service was horrible!! On two occasions they forgot two of the drinks in my order as well as my mini cookies. I had to go back and wait in line again to get what I had ordered!! Had they done their job correctly I would not have been inconvenienced having to go back twice !!! This last trip I ordered the Rocket drink which was starting to explode when the girl at the window started to give my drink to me!! instead of fixing the issue she handed me my drink and told me Good Luck!! Got here at 9:10 they close at 9:30 and waited in drive thru for another 15 minutes. While waiting in the drive thru line a worker came out saying they were still open to us. Right when we got to the window the same worker said they were now closed and her boss wouldn't let them serve us anymore. Looked at the time and it was 9:29 pm not sure why they wouldn't take our order since we were waiting in line for so long or at least have a worker come out and take the orders like they usually do when there's a line waiting. Don't know why the manager would tell customers no at 9:29. Hope you guys do better next time. read more

Went to swig tonight on my way home. I asked the nice girl in the drive through if she could use my Stanley cup, she said it would be no problem. The girl at the window said the same. But then who I assume was a supervisor started yelling about why a cup was in There that wasn't a swig tumbler? And who approved this for the customer? I told the girl at the window I didn't need a discount, I just want my own cup. She said next time they would just serve me in a styrofoam cup and I can pour it into my own cup. It pains me to write this. I'd rate this a 0 star if I could. I love swig, but experienced a horrible business practice tonight. They close at 9:30, I got in the drive thru line at 9:05. Horrendously slow, I crawled through line. Finally getting to the window at 9:35, they told me they were closed and wouldn't take my order. Seriously? Put a sign out to stop the line. Don't make me sit in line 30 minutes and then because you are slow, not get me my Texas tab. Puts a horrible taste in my mouth. Not to mention the 3 cars in front of me who also got ushered off. Horrible. Rookie ran business. I hope other locations are more professional. read more

I love Swig and have loved having this location so close to my house! But I have had more than one poor experience here. There are always teenagers working who could care less about the customer. For example, tonight we went and waited for 3 minutes at each window for someone to help us, we could see at least 3 employees through the windows just sitting there chatting. No one ever came to help us so we left. Doesn't seem worth it to return to this location even though it's so convenient. read more

The staff here is completely incompetent. Not only did it take 30 minutes to get through the line, they didn't even have the drinks close to ready. It took four times to get the correct order. Andrew at the window hands me a small drink. I paid for a large. He says to me you can just get a refund (which he was too incompetent to know how to actually do). Blamed me for him not listening and tried to get me to leave without the correct size. How is that appropriate. They couldn't figure out how to refund two simple cookies. I call and they can't even try to give me my money back until the manager comes in on Tuesday. What a joke. Do yourself a favor and avoid. This location only has either an idiot that can't hear too well or a lazy teen that doesn't care about his job. He refuses/can't hear the phrase no ice, he confuses it with light ice or more ice. It's a stupid joke when you provide my drink without any ice, it's an incentive for me to go somewhere else when you're confused why I'm making you remake the drink without any ice. I love the drinks from this shop. We ordered on Christmas Eve and it was quite last minute and a large order of 8 drinks. From what we could gather there were only two workers on shift, but they were splendid workers and did everything with great efficiency and timing. We are transplants to Utah so this whole soda craze is new to us. But we were happy when they opened this so close to our house. It's not something we frequent but it's a nice treat. It doesn't matter what time of the day we come, they never get my drink right. I absolutely hate coconut and specifically ask for it to be removed and almost every time, it's there lurking in m my drink to make me gag. I've started saying I'm allergic and still I end up with it in my drink. I get that most of them are just kids but it's pretty simple to not put something in a drink. I also ask for no ice and about half the time there's ice. It would also be nice if the store opened a little earlier. As I drive my kids to school I often want to stop in for a drink but they open about 15 minutes after I pass by. You could make a ton of $ off the high school kids if you were open a smidge earlier. read more

Never had a bad experience in the drive thru. Staff are quick, friendly, and accommodating, going out of their way to get long lines moving. Going inside is a bit of a different story, though; it takes a while for anyone to greet you or take your order and off-the-clock employees frequently come in to ring themselves up ahead of the line. read more

I have enjoyed all of my experiences at this Swig location. The service has always been fast and friendly. The atmosphere, whether at the drive up window or in the lobby, has always been inviting. I love the seemingly endless combinations of sodas and flavor shots and their cookies are delicious every time. With the recent'ish addition of coconut cream to their flavor line up I am in heaven. I have other soda shop options closer to my home but I choose this location because my experience has always been positive. read more
