We visited them yesterday in the Auto Zone parking lot in Clearfield. No one was in line, so we walked right up. The person working the food truck greeted us and asked what he could get us. He was really nice and chatted with us while he made our food. He seems like a great guy! My fiancé and I both got the shrimp with fries and ordered some crab cakes to share. We decided to stuff our faces in the car :) We tried the crab cakes first and they were out of this world! I wish we had ordered more! They had a nice crisp outer shell and a delicious soft inside. The shrimp came on a skewer and was soooo good! It was a little hard for me to eat off of the skewer, so I had to use my hands. Unfortunately we didn't get any napkins (we didn't ask for any though). I highly recommend a handful of napkins because your fingers will get pretty greasy. I really loved the fries and the seasoning on top. I gobbled them up a little too fast. I will definitely order from this food truck again. I want to try the fish :)

From the prompt responses to my emails and friendly professional manner throughout event, I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is in need of catering services. The experience was great because: Reasonable prices, AWESOME food. They offer vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options including fruit cups and gluten free cookies. I only got a chance to try the Roast Beef sandwich but got good feedback about a bunch of the other sandwiches too. Reliable: This has been an ongoing issue when it comes to finding a good catering company. We often find that the food is great, but the level of service is sub par. Saucy Skillet was on time and had everything they promised. This is extremely important, especially when you're running on the company's schedule. There were pictures on their menu, but we were told by other guests that the food doesn't match the picture. I found that to be true. I ordered a chicken plate and it was very different than pictured. Although good, but if someone had expectations based on the pictures on the menu and was handed something else, it might be disappointing. The food was tasty-lots of flavor, and not overly spicey. The whole thing. I took a picture first. Don't worry about that either. So! These weren't what I expected. I think I expected more of a churro type treat--cruncy and cinnamon sugary. It wasn't like that at all. It's not even really like a waffle, or very crispy on the outside, if that's what you're expecting. It is different, and hard to explain. The dough is thin, but not like a crepe. It's more like a cinnamon roll type of dough, but not in flavor. The shape is neat. It's fun to kind of "unravel" it to eat it. Since they give it to you hot, the spread kind of melts and falls down the middle, which is good for dipping, but dangerous for dripping, so beware. Chimneys are a new take on treats, and definitely worth a try.

These are traditional Hungarian cakes rolled into a cone shape with your choice of 1 spread and 1 topping, and optional whipped cream with extra cost. Simple menu, very limited options. I got the Nutella with candy cane sprinkles. The cake itself is lightly sweet. I was expecting the texture to be soft and spongy but it's more of a crispy cake. The cake is rolled first and then Nutella is spread across the inside of the cone. The toppings are added to the brim of the cone. If you want whipped cream, it'll be in the center of the cone. I thought it was delicious but it was quite expensive to pay $7 (including tax) for something that is so minimal. Personally, I wouldn't try it again because there was not a wow factor and the ingredients are simple. Good for the novelty, not fulfilling for $7.

I added a meatball for an extra three bills ... you can also add sausage, chicken, or bacon for the same. Before I dive into the main course, let's talk what comes with the meal. First, there's a small (think a 3-bite) salad. Good spring mix, baby tomatoes, and a very good Italian dressing. Then, there's a fresh piece of French bread, the perfect size to sop up all that glorious sauce. Speaking of the sauce, the vodka was glorious. The ravioli was soft and jam-packed with fresh mozzarell' and freshly-chopped spinach. Succulent, not too salty ... a perfect savory taste. The two GIGANTIC meatballs are homemade, packed with sweet Italian sausage and beef. A great addition to the meal. The Carmel sauce was the BEST thing on the plate. Absolutely delicious! The strawberries were very fresh but the problem for me was the star of the show the actual French toast wasn't very good. The middle was a little underdone and soggy for my taste and the outside was so overdone and crisp I couldn't cut through and eat it very well. So sad when their toppings were so amazing. I would try again but this was just an average meal for me noting super special outside of the Carmel.
