It was a lot of people really craving fruit bowls because that place was kind of packed with people waiting outside and waiting on the tables to receive their orders.. Food 3/5 what I got was a dragon fruit base with blue spirulina they blended it together. I didn't want them to do that. I wanted the color separate (but you can't always get everything), pieces of strawberry, sliced bananas, and whole blueberries with some oats with a lot of honey, which was great. One thing I noticed is whatever it is that they blend. They don't utilize all of the fruit that was inside the blended container. I was hoping that for the price and the small bowl that I got, they would've filled it up to the top, but as you can see in the picture there's still a lot of room to fill and they didn't. Other than that, the fruit bowl was OK. Service 5/5 the server giving everyone their orders was alone and she was moving lightning quick she was very polite and excited about what she was doing. She put a lot of love into what people were ordering and was very patient with some people that were complaining. she messed up what I ordered, but she was super sweet And I'm not gonna give her a bad rating for that. I'm not sure if the business tells the workers not to fill people's order to the top, but it looks like a lot of cups and bowls aren't filled to the top which I don't like but other than that she did a great job Under all that pressure.. Ambience 5/5 everything was clean, well organized, and all menus were displayed very brightly on their monitors. The place is roomie and plenty of seats for couples or families to dine in as well as outside in front of the establishment. If you like açai fruit bowls. And you happen to be in Salt Lake City Utah. You can definitely check this place out. It might not have been perfect for me, but it might be perfect for you so definitely try them out. read more

I came in today to order two drinks and realized I had lots of hair in my cups. This had been the most disgusting drink I've ever had at a jumba. Not just this drink but my other smoothie as well. Employees need to start wearing hair nets to avoid getting hair on food and drinks. Completely dissatisfied. Don't waste your money here and shop at local independently owned businesses instead. Jamba Juice has changed! And I like the changes! We stopped by trying to find something light on calories but full of flavor. The Vanilla Blue Sky was awesome and only 220 calories. It is a little pricey at $10 but everything is getting expensive these days. The service was great. I love Jamba Juice, but this location has screwed up orders one too many times with awful customer service. Today was probably the fourth time. I ordered two smoothies, one with banana and one without. I specified once when I ordered, then she repeated it back to me, then I confirmed once again while I was paying that there was no banana in the second one. When she called my name I asked her which smoothie had no banana and she looked at me so confused. (Keep in mind this was like less than 10 minutes after she took my order and confirmed no banana). She then walked away and came back saying oh they both have banana. Then she just stood there. No I'm sorry or I'll remake it. She looked like she had no idea what was going on and didn't know what to do. I don't know why Jamba continues to hire these unqualified young people who have ZERO customer service experience or aren't even trained. This is also the same place and day where a girl started having a breakdown while making the smoothies in front of all of the customers. Someone needs to retrain the Jamba employees at this location and teach them to be more professional and focus on customer service. Now...I boycott Jamba Juice like 8 months out of the year because the only smoothie I like is the watermelon breeze. However when Jamba Juice dm'ed me and told me that the watermelon breeze was back in stores...you already know where I am going! The reason that I like this store in particular is because of two things: speed and consistency. They always get my drink out in a prompt manner and they are always consistent. I had a pretty great experience with the downtown Jamba juice. It was consistent and met my expectations of what Jamba should be. The staff was nice, courteous, and quick. The store was pretty well maintained. I really have no complaints. The only reason why I hate Jamba is that it's still slightly overpriced and most items are wellll packed with sugar. I decided to try the Acai bowl. I was pleasantly surprised with it. Jamba has some amazing granola, and I was extremely happy that they used fresh fruit on top, sprinkled with some coconut and honey drizzle. The Acai base was probably similar quality to that of the prepackaged stuff at Costco. That was the big downer. I visited this location, today . My husband and I were really looking forward to trying the bowls . When I asked for one the girl at the register told us that they were no longer serving at that time . It was legit 1 1/2 before closing . Then I had to ask why, she broke eye contact and said they stop making them at 5pm . I gave her a confused look waiting for some kind of explanation but didn't get one. It seemed to us they just wanted to hurry up and close the place, so they shut the machine down early. When my husband ordered a large smoothie, she unapologetically told him they had no large cups, either. The other two females were "mopping the floor and chatting while listening in, as we placed our order. None of them smiled & seemed unfriendly. The place was not very welcoming, overall. I worked in retail before and their employees lack skills in customer service. We went in and they gave us time to decide what we wanted and the worker was very nice, especially considering that it was Christmas Eve. He was very nice and helped us with a what we wanted, asked if we needed anything and provided us the code for the bathroom. Wait time was short even though it was busy. He double checked and asked if he got everyone. He was happy to be working and then when we received our smoothies the other worker was very nice and had her Christmas earrings which were very cute. Excellent experience! I really wish I caught the girls name, but her name tag was on the side if her hat. She was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. I got a medium matcha smoothie. She said there's a good recipe and a not so good recipe. Then she said, "I'll make you the good one!" That was funny. But now I won't know which one it is next time. :D I'll take the chance and live dangerously. Whatever it was, it absolutely CRUSHED the craving I was having. It was awesome! My husband got a razzmatazz smoothie, dairy free. It was berries, banana, or age juice instead of sherbet and strawberries. The were both tasty. I was really bummed when I went in today. I've been going to this location since it was Zuka Juice 10+ years ago. The 10 minute wait didn't bother me, but the crew had to be the most dysfunctional crew I've ever seen. After a disgruntled customer left before me, one of the workers said she didn't give a f*** about it. The customer was right to be upset considering the crew had forgotten about his order. Two of the workers couldn't stop giggling while running back and forth between the back and front for no apparent reason. This is probably the second review I've ever left at a restaurant, but I felt the need to do so here. Building was hot and stuffy so we sat outside. My kale smoothie was chalky but had decent flavor. I think it's some kind of dried kale pellets they throw in there which gives it the nasty texture. My kid's mango smoothie with Greek yogurt was smooth as silk and delicious. I stole a few gulps when he wasn't looking. I'm glad this place is here. Very convienent location, and the healthier options plus out-front nutrition information is welcome. My kid chose something here over a McDonald's ice cream cone for his treat.
