Annabelle did a fantastic job! Love the Moncks Corner location. A large group of us came in by boat & had the time of our life. Wonderful food. Wonderful atmosphere. Incredible service. Will be back! read more

Food was excellent and outstanding service by our server, Annabelle. I would highly recommend Swig & Swine. You can easily get there by boat as well. read more

Tried this location for the first time. Not very crowded and a little remote. The food was not great in my opinion. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with the baked beans. The sandwich didn't taste like it was smoked pork and the beans weren't fully cooked. They were a bit crunchy. The ambiance was low key and it wasn't crowded which was a plus. read more

We have always loved Swig and Swine but on this last visit, their brisket was super dry. It was terribly disappointing, especially after having gone to Lewis's last month and experienced melt in your mouth brisket. Everything else was tasty, however - coleslaw, mac & cheese, and salad. It was also odd that they only had three dressing choices and no blue cheese dressing for the blue cheese brisket salad. Shout out to the staff who were very upbeat, friendly, and helpful! This particular location is a bit open and loud, with chairs that scrape on cement floors and not a lot of sound muffling decor. We will probably give it another chance and try out their Tuesday night burger specials. read more

Swig & Swine - Blue cheese brisket salad - Barbeque Near Me

I have lived in Moncks Corner for eight years and never knew this area was behind the Walmart keynote. Although the street sign is wrong, go behind Walmart to get to this lovely establishment. The boat dock was very similar to Gilligans. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Upon opening the door, it's a comfortable and relaxing place to have a delicious, reasonably priced meal. The young host was friendly and professional and greeted everyone. I walked in, including a couple who arrived moments after me. I would recommend this place again. The next time, I will stay, eat, and enjoy the scenery instead of ordering takeout. read more

I came it to try Moncks Corner's newest bbq kid in town recently for dinner. I have to admit I've never been to the tucked away location along the water that's back there behind the Walmart and was pleasantly surprised to find Swig & Swine there. It was a Tuesday around 7pm when we walked in for dinner. There were only a few other tables full so we had no issue being sat despite having no reservation. Service was super fast (like insanely fast). From the time we ordered our server had our dishes out within MINUTES of ordering. We started with the pimento cheese and pork rinds for our appetizer. For the first time in my life I understood why they are so often called Crackalins because those things were so fresh when they came to the table you could audibly hear them cracking and popping from the hot grease. They were FRESH. And so, so good. The pimento was delicious and the perfect accompaniment. Also - make sure you dont sleep on their pickles. These are also delicious and we asked for a side for the table. Service and ambiance (and crackalins ) gets 5 stars all the way from me. The pulled pork is what gives Swig & Swine the 3 star rating from me. I'll have to admit to being a Music Man's BBQ longtime loyalist but always like to try a new bbq spot. This is why I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of hash and rice, which again, came out within minutes of me ordering it. The sandwich came with a heaping helping of meat between the buns but it was completely dry and unsauced. Swig & Swine has about 7 or so different bbq sauces for you to enjoy and sauce their meats with yourself based on which flavor you prefer. I sauced the sandwich with their vinegar sauce but because the meat wasnt cooked in a sauce, the flavor really couldn't penetrate the dry, Bland meat. I ended up leaving most of the sandwich uneaten and taking it home to my father who will eat any type of leftover out of principal regardless of whether it tastes good or not. The hash was decent but not the best you'll find in the lowcountry and I ended up doctoring it up a bit at the table. While the pulled pork was a big miss for me - I'm definitely open to returning and trying other options on the menu. The wings at a nearby table looked super tasty! But if you're looking for the standout hallmarks of traditional South Carolina style bbq (pulled pork and hash), look elsewhere in the lowcountry. read more

Y'all. This place did not disappoint. First, it's honestly in a beautiful location, right on the river. The inside is big and has a laid back feel. Our server was friendly and even gave us some sweet tea to go even though we hadn't ordered it since it was the end of the night. We really appreciated that. Food was awesome! Pork rinds and pimento cheese dip were delicious. We did a brisket plate and a rib plate. The ribs fell right off the bone and the brisket had a great flavor. I think this place definitely has been brisket than home team. We got brisket and beans, corn pudding, Cole slaw, and Mac and cheese for sides. They were amazing but the corn pudding was my favorite. My boyfriend loved the Mac and cheese the most. Cole slaw was decent. We left with so many leftovers and will be back!! read more

We came around 4 pm on Saturday July 3 and very quickly the restaurant became very busy. They were short staff but Lauren was very attentive and provided great service. It was our first time at this location. Food was delicious ( better vinegar slaw than Dorchester Rd location). We will come again! read more

Wonderful food and great staff. Loved that everything was homemade. Can't wait to go back!

Won't be back.... called twice a week apart to make sure they had WHOLE catfish on Friday . Both times i was told yes. Ordered and what came to the plate was burnt filet of catfish . NOT WHOLE. Manager , Cris , came to the table routinely and asked how is the meal. When i told him about the catfish ; his only answer was "GIRLS ANSWERING PHONE" and could not get away from the table fast enough. I'm sorry your the manager and you don't have staff meetings to inform daily specials etc. Poor excuse for a manager..not even an apology. The wife had pork belly ; overcooked and dry while the brisket was just ok . Sorry.. your not the only restaurant; i can choose much better . read more

Just had their Pastrami and it too was out of this world! I Jason had a glass of their blonde ale that was fantastic. Talked to the manager and he tries all their beers and says he would not have one that wasn't worth the money. I say that since most all their beers are 7-8 dollars. All I canebayflyer@gmail.com say is this place rocks! read more

They're not big on advertising or signs, But anyone that overlooks Swig & Swine is missing out big time. The service is excellent. The brisket and pork chops are wonderful, the sides as well. The perfect lake day dinner spot!! We had a party of 12, 5 being kids. We got in and were seated within 2 minutes. Our drink orders were taken and brought out quickly. It was a Saturday so it wasn't slow by any means. Overall service was excellent! We always get pork rinds and pimento cheese because they are the best. The rinds come out fresh popping. They are seasoned perfectly. Their pulled pork, mac and cheese and hash and rice are all wonderful. I never leave with left overs. I can't recommend this location enough. read more

Amazing!!! we got there around noon. They were pretty busy, but the hostess seated us relatively quickly. Our waitress Nicole was great! The real headliner was the food! My wife and I split the brisket grilled cheese, which was crazy good. We also shared some smoked wings, which were awesome and the pulled pork puppies. Everything was delicious. And I know barbecue I have been eating it my entire life, but this place was Spot on. Excellent work! We will definitely be back to this hidden gem. read more

Always a great time at the bar with Lindsey! We love the 3 meat plate, fried pickles, and the Big Nasty is one of my favorites!

Maybe I don't have the taste buds for BBQ? The good - great service, fun atmosphere where you can watch multiple games at a time, really tasty corn, and a to-die-for cobbler! I'd probably go back just for those two items. The corn was a mixture of cheese and chilies. Yes. Just yes. The COBBLER? Is anyone talking about this?! So buttery and the perfect amount of density. The fruit tasted fresh vs a can (too sweet and gelatinous). Paired with vanilla ice cream? I need to go back. Now for the not so fun part. My party tried the wings which were mediocre due to the cook and temperature (no crispy whatsoever and cold), to the underwhelming flavor (the best being the bbq). What I had (pictured) was not appealing in the least. The beans were under seasoned and cold and the brisket was so fatty and cold it makes me a little queasy to think about. I had the rest of my party try it and the consensus was that was not how it should be presented or how it should taste. Two of the three of us have no desire to go back, and the third said they would return. read more

Nothing better the day brisket smoked to perfection, piled really high on a soft bun, with melted cheese, sliced jalapenos.... They call it the big nasty... But it is so good. The only rival to this sandwich is our server Amy! Super friendly, efficient, a step ahead of our every need. The restaurant and b bar layout is accommodating to small and large groups.
