Food was great. However, pepper came out of the shaker WAY TOO FAST! Will be eating again but not sure if I will ask for pepper!

Huddle House was supposed to be open, but they were close. I remember the renovation for the Pappy's. Since they were available, the ladies and I decided to give them a try. As soon as I walked, welcomed by the aroma of Southern Fresh goodness! I asked, " Could you serve Three more?" The Gentleman, only the way an authentic Southern will, "Of course, WELCOME! Sit anywhere you like!" The Hostess was just as friendly. At this point, I'm signing off. I know this food is going to be delicious!!!

When we lived in Hanahan it was right down the street from Pappys there and we went often. Driving back into town this morning from Kingstree we came across Lil Pappys. Man were we so glad! Turns out they used to have a much larger place across the street. The new place sits between Hardees and Pizza hut almost directly across Hwy 52 from the previous local. Loving that they took over a standing vacant fastfood business and made their own mark on it. The design is perfect for a fast paced home town eatery with speed, comfort and delicious home cooked food as goals. The open floor plan along with tin and wood decor makes for a clean restaurant with excellent functionality for the waitstaff. I always look up when seated to check vent and ceiling cleanliness and I was super impressed. All perfect white drop tiles and the vents had zero dirt or dust. I have missed Pappy's corn beef hash! Was not at all disappointed with my perfect pancakes and hash! Crispy just how I love them. Hubby had the Ribeye and Eggs. He didn't even ask for A1 because the steak was juicy and had great flavor on it's own. Thanks Pappys!

Do not let the look of this place fool you. It may look like an older diner that appears to be in need of a make over but the food is great. I have been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. They have a variety of meals and food to choose from. My favorite thing here is the breakfast. If I am craving pancakes this is my go to place. I ordered the Pappy's 2 x 4 special. Which consists of 2 eggs, 2 hotcakes (pancakes for those who do not know what hotcakes are), 2 links (sausage) and 2 bacon. All of it was cooked correctly and not only did it taste great but it hit the spot as well. My wife will usually mix up what she orders. Tonight (8/31/18) she ordered a patty melt and 2 sides. The patty melt was delicious. For her sides she had french fries and potato salad. Fries were tasty and the potato salad was ok. The servers are polite and friendly. Like I said earlier the place needs a make over and at a minimum the parking lot needs to be repaired because there are a lot of pot holes. Don't let these minor issues stop you from getting a good meal!

Old timey meet greasy spoon. Not a bad little breakfast spot. Old men solving the world's problems on cup of coffee at a time.

The second time we went the food came out fast and it was just what we needed to fill our bellies. It is a typical sports bar feel inside, but they have a pretty large selection of food on their menu. Obviously the place is all about hotdog, but I had their boneless buffalo wings and that hit the spot. It's very hard to find a spot with good boneless wings! My kids devour the hotdog like it's their job! The location is pretty random at the moment but they are building up so many things out there that they're in a prime location. Can't wait to go back.

On my long drive home from Mount Pleasant to Moncks Corner after a 12 hour shift at work, I had…read moreplenty of time to consider what I'd want for dinner. Moncks Corner has so many fast food restaurants but today I wanted to spend my money on a local establishment That's My Dawg. I walked in, weary from a long day running events to be greeted by a guitarist, backing tracks, and 6 whooping elderly patrons. They were enjoying themselves, a little tipsy, and loud. Fortunately I wasn't looking for peace and quiet, just a quick to go order of a chili dog, sausage dog, wings, and onion rings. I shuffled my way to the counter, carrying the weight of the day only to wait 5 minute before spoken to by one of the servers. My order was placed quickly and was assured it would be out "soon." I took my seat to listen to a good guitarist with better backing tracks fighting a losing battle with the impending headache forming at the back of my skull. At the 10 minute mark I considered ordering a drink to silence my inner voice of doubt telling me I should have just gone to Chick-fil-a but surely my food would be out "soon." At the 20 minute mark, the guitarist stopped his set to take a break as I watch other patrons receive their food and drinks after I had ordered. I could only assume extra time and attention was being used for me. Perhaps they needed to grind the sausage in the back before cooking and serving it for my order. Perhaps they had to pluck all those fresh chicken wings. Maybe they were harvesting the onion in real time to deliver it to me. My orders surely not just food, but a statement of art and love too beautiful for human consumption. My excited and eagerness grew until the 30 minute mark when a different server asked if I had been helped. Was my order lost? Had I been forgotten? Maybe they weren't freshly grinding my sausage dog after all! Everything seemed to be ok because after I said I had a to go order, she never returned to give me an update. I had considered resting my eyes, which became increasingly difficult after the guitarists mandatory rendition of "Sweet Caroline" at the 45 minute mark. That's when the angel from the kitchen appeared, bag in hand. My expectations: high My anticipation: at a fever pitch My hunger: endless My reason to give my wife for taking so long: formulating I smiled and took the bag eagerly to my car to drive the 5 minutes to my house to enjoy this meal clearly crafted with an artist's hand and a mother's heart. ...the first words my wife spoke regarding her hot dawg was "weird" My sausage dog was serviceable, the wings were serviceable, the onion rings were also....serviceable. As I sat on my couch ignoring survivor, trying to enjoy the food I waited an entire set to receive, and holding back a primal scream regarding my 6am call time; a single tear fell down my cheek in my sheer disappointment and defeat from this experience. Maybe I'll go back when I'm not coming from work, and have no where to be urgently, and there isn't entertainment, and can order food in my third Jack and Coke. I really do want to try one of the great hot dogs I've been hearing about.

The online instructions said it would track your location so they know when you arrive so they can bring your food out, but this never happens. Arrived at 6:37 Pm and parked in the to go pick up parking space, waited 20 minutes, called the restaurant and received no answer, so I went inside and spoke with the bartender about my pick up order, to which she replied " They are making it right now". I continued to wait at the bar until my food was brought out to me at 7:28pm. Some details I realized while I was sitting at the bar Was I was not alone in my experience this night as the to go pick up spots were all filled and customers were starting to follow suit and enter the restaurant to inquire about their meals. I also noticed that the reason I could not get through to anyone was because the employees had taken the phone off of the hook to which I took a picture. When I returned home and sat down to eat the food, I noticed upon opening the container that the meal appeared to be just noodles and the honey chicken tenders no four cheese whatsoever and this took from 6:20 pm when I ordered online to 7:28 PM when I finally received the meal. I've given this location multiple chances, as this was not the first time I've ordered online and no one came out with food, leaving me no option, but to go in and inquire about my meal. This was the last chance. This location has permanently lost a customer. I will not be returning.

Finally after five minutes a waitress walked out and We were seated, drinks ordered. Waitress came back and took our order. Two more couples came in about ten minutes after us. At 12:30 the waitress comes and apologizes that our food is not ready and they only have one cook. Meanwhile she is holding the plates for the couple that came in ten minutes after us. A few minutes later she brings the other couple their food. Then she brings my steak and my husband's salad but not my salad and not his entree. So we wait some more. My food is getting cold. Finally they bring his food. In the meantime I literally start smelling poop. We are seated by the bathrooms and the smell is so strong it makes me gag a little. I cut into the steak and it was not medium well. It was medium rare. I sent it back for more cooking and again I smelled the poop but the bathroom door hadn't opened. Mind you I have hearing loss so my sense of smell is pretty strong. My husband could slightly smell it but not like me. No clue where it was coming from but it almost ruined my appetite. The food came back, the potatoes were delicious. Broccoli just right. Salad was okay. Steak was horrible. Rubbery, tough, fatty and no flavor. This was supposed to be a 2 for 25 but they charged us 32 because I got a steak. Never again. We'll never go here again. The waitress was nice but I really didn't appreciate 4 people coming in after us, getting their food before us, eating, paying and leaving while we still waited and waited. And we were super nice about it. We were on a road trip and this meal delayed us for more than an hour to our destination. I didn't get a picture of my husbands chicken but he said it was just okay. It wasn't fried.
