Honestly, I thought all of the meat was very bland. The pork tenderloin was cooked nicely, but there was hardly any flavor. I wish it had been cooked with more seasoning and I don't think the fruity sauce complemented the pork. The mashed potatoes were alright. Regarding the steak pasta, the pasta sauce & noodles were good. The steak, once again, was pretty tasteless. All of the appetizers were decent. I don't think any of the dishes delivered, considering the pricepoint. We also got a bottle of 2016 Syrah. The Syrah was pretty good, more full bodied. Not as sweet as I anticipated. Plenty of seating, spacious area with indoor and outdoor seating. Ambience was nice. Serving staff was also nice. The appetizers came out a few minutes before the main dishes. I wish they had brought out the appetizers sooner- otherwise what's the point of an appetizer?! My friends and I had just finished a long hike and were very hungry~ one of them recommended this place as she had eaten at the Bellevue location and loved it. I was very underwhelmed by the experience at the Cle Elum location. Usually when you're hungry, anything would taste good. But even with the seasoning of hunger... none of the dishes wowed me or even satisfied me. Maybe come here is your main prerogative is wine. I've been to Swiftwater Cellars several times over the last year and have yet to be disappointed. The food is good, ambiance is cool, and service is friendly. I find the food here much better than the food at the nearby resort. It's also an excellent spot to step outside and take some selfies if you visit during the day, as the golf course behind the restaurant is beautiful. And they make their own wine! I'm no sommelier, but their wines seem smooth and delicious to me. I've tried many different things off the menu, including appetizers, mains, flatbreads, and desserts and all have been delicious. I especially loved the charcuterie board. Their menu has changed a bit each time that I've visited, so I'm assuming they change it up seasonally. Overall a great spot to dine if you're passing though or visiting Cle Elem. read more

This time b/c of COVID we ended up ordering to go - they are doing family meals for pickup Thurs-Sun and this was a great option and super convenient. You email to reserve and they call to get your info. We got the lasagna and caesar salad on Sunday and it was only $40 - such a steal. Amazing!!! Just the views alone is amazing!! Stayed in suncadia with my Baci Baci!! We didn't leave the resort the whole time. So much to do inside. The stairs, the river, the climb! Many hikes. No room service but we did a few takeouts from the places inside the resort. This place however was worth a visit. You can drive here from the lodge ( it where you're staying) or take one of the resort shuttles. You need reservations!! Since I have Baci, we drove here from where we are staying: the main lodge! A good 4 mins drive. Parking is hard since it's right on the golf course. But you can find it after a few circles. They have indoor and outdoor. Naturally, we are outdoors with Baci. But because of the stunning views, everyone's outdoor too. We had to wait a few for our table. Not too hard but still a wait. The views though!! I've been to their location in Bellevue: it's like that but smaller on the menu side. Limited items for food. Same great list of wines. We did some flatbreads ( almost a pizza) and the wine flight! The pours! The pours here are amazing! They are not tasting pours. They are drinking pours. And totally Italian style! My family would approve!! Cin cin. On a very hot almost 100 degrees day, we sipped and enjoyed the views, the breeze! The wine! Left most of the wine too. They were delish! People were nice. Such a fun day drinking spot! Came here to relax after the Harvest Festival and was really happy with the views and service. It was a busy afternoon with most tables taken up. We still had excellent service and they were prompt taking our orders, getting our waters and bringing out our food. The blanco flatbread is delicious! The different wine flights were great, we had quite a few choices and the 6 of us each got something different. And our waitress was a pro at bringing out the flights, how she does it with such precision and not dropping any of the five flight racks is beyond me. Sat at the patio and loved it as the crisp air and view was well worth it. But be aware you will have an occasional bug fly into your drink if left unattended too long. Happened to a few of us, so I recommend drinking them a tad more quickly than if you were inside. read more

This was my second visit to the winery after coming a few years ago and really enjoying it. This time I was with a friend on a Suncadia getaway for her birthday and we popped in for a late Sunday afternoon wine tasting. When we arrived we were told we couldn't sit at any of the wide open comfy couch seating areas, including the one in front of the beautiful fire since they were all reserved. Instead we were seated at a high top table in the corner. The wine and flatbread were absolutely wonderful, but our visit was soured by the fact that for an entire hour NO ONE was seated at the fireplace seating area. And another large couch area was empty for the first 30 minutes, after which two people were seated there, leaving most of that couch area empty. Just before we left a few people were seated at the fireplace but with most of the area wide open. We never thought you would need reservations for a casual Sunday afternoon wine tasting in the middle of winter. And we don't understand why we couldn't be seated in the nice areas when no one was there and when there would have been plenty of room to share. It made us feel unvalued as customers and detracted from our visit greatly as we wanted to hunker down in comfort instead of sitting at the high top. read more

I had the peach caprese salad, my friend had a side salad and we split the pepperoni flatbread. It was just as delicious as the photo looks! I found it very mediocre and extremely overpriced. We went for lunch to avoid the dinner crowd. We all ordered burgers for $24, and they were meh. The bun was stale, far too much aioli which made it sloppy, a sad old pickle, and frozen French fries. My kids wanted their hot cocoa special which came with a macaron and a truffle- $14 eek, but ok because tis the season. The hot cocoa was so thick that it barely slid out of the cup to drink. Not only that, but it was cold! By far the strangest hot cocoa I've ever tasted or seen. The macaron was stale and crusty and the truffle just fell into the cocoa. I was not impressed! Service was ok, our waiter didn't check on us after we got our food served by another staff member. You can see all the staff huddled in the back area with no masks on. I didn't feel very comfortable after seeing how irresponsible they were about wearing their masks. We did have to ask for our check and the server kept coming back around to grab it after I signed it. It was very apparently the staff is either unhappy or maybe they've been experiencing some unpleasant guests. Either way, I try to be kind whether the service is bad or food is bad. I was staying at Suncadia Lodge and decided this would be a convenient place to stop by. There was plenty of room outside and an AMAZING view of the mountains as well as a fire place. It was not windy from where we were sitting, which was great. My friend ordered the red flight which I got to taste and enjoyed. The cab was probably my favorite. I ordered the sauv blanc which tasted crisp. We really enjoyed the food here! I ordered the sausage flatbread which had a delicious white garlic sauce. My friend ordered the Kobe beef burger which also tasted great! We ended up ordering the gelato flight which was so tasty! They make the gelato in the restaurant and you could tell with the quality when you tasted it. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, I would definitely stop by this place again if we are in town. This past weekend was lovely and we decided to take a drive out to Swiftwater and explore some of Suncadia. It was a bit too hot for a lot of walking/hiking around the resort, but it was breezy and comfortable under the shaded patio area. I inquired about any wine industry discounts and was pleased to hear that we would get a free flight and reduced prices (-30%) on bottle purchases. The white flight (+ a rosé) did not disappoint and we liked all 6 wines. The wines complimented my spicy and tangy Korean BBQ pork sandwich. I have visited here 4 times. First in a banquet room for a family reunion where everything was great. The second visit was right before covid with a group of women. We had a reservation and overall had a good time. One of the women with us was not satisfied with her meal and sent it back. After that, our waiter was very short and rude to us. He quickly reminded us that we had overstayed our reservation and needed to leave. I was unaware of the 2 hour reservation period on weekends. I completely understand this and have no problem respecting this. I do not appreciate the way it was handle by the server. We did bring it to managements attention and they apologized. The third was shortly after the big covid lockdown and in summer 2020. I visited with some family (who also owns a home there). We unfortunately had the same server. He did not acknowledge us for at least 30 min even when one of our guests did not have a seat. Once we were able to get his attention, he told us to go pick up the chair to move. These are big outdoor chairs they have on the patio. Odd ask but ok. Then back to being ignored. I finally got the managers help and we did have better service. Especially knowing there was a reservation limit, I wanted to respect this but that's difficult when your server is no where to be found or completely ignores you. Most recent visit was Memorial Day weekend. I visited with family and friends again. And of course, same server. I understand it's been quite a year for everyone and try to be kind as you never know what people are going through. We had some wine we were still drinking from wine tasting and when he saw this he ignored us even though one of us asked for a cocktail. Then nothing from him for 30 minutes. We ordered our drinks at the bar. He then argued with one of the people in our party about what type of drink she ordered and what she should do next time. Very odd and off for a server. Lastly, he hit me in the head with his serving tray. I understand it was (I think) an accident but seems very inexcusable for a restaurant like this to just casually brush it off. After this last time, I did leave a review for management on Open Table in which they suggested to not come on weekends when that employee isn't working. Unprofessional, terrible customer dining experience and a horrible representation of the Suncadia Community. The only reason this is getting two stars is one for the view and one for the wine. I wish I can give zero star to this place. And I wish the picture says it all but it doesn't. So here's our experience. Went with another family - four adults and three young children. Youngest one was just over 2 years old. We reserved a table outside for obvious reasons during COVID. Had really high expectations coming in, since Yelp review was amazing and the exterior and interior of the restaurant looks fab. Ok, small children? No problem. We got two tables with the HIGHEST chairs outside. The tables were high enough for adults to stand. No handle bar on the side of the chairs so my husband and I were trying to hold on to our 2-year-old daughter throughout the whole meal from both sides, preventing her from falling. It was dinner time and we started at around 5:30. Sun was going down and it started to get windy and chilly. My friend called the waitress and asked if the curtain next to her can be closed to block the wind. The waitress said she has to check with her manager on that. Throughout our whole time there, she never said another word about that curtain - it was as if we never asked. It was cold for the kids and they all put on jackets, some sneezing and running nose... anyways, that was way too much to ask for the staff. The place was definitely short staffed and our waitress don't come over that much. Kids meal were promised to be "super fast" and they didn't come until 30 min after putting in the order, at which point all three kids were super fussy. Finally, here comes the "best part" - my husband saw a bug in the salad. He lost all his appetite from that. We were all ready to leave the restaurant at that moment. We wanted to tell someone about the bug but waited and waited, finally our waitress came back. Said she will check with the kitchen. Apologized. And after a while "so kindly" offered to take the salad off the check and gave us another free one. We refused the free salad because there is zero appetite left at the table. Waited another 15 min. Finally the bill came. Another 15% off. Wonderful. That's all we got. They worked so hard to get that and shouldn't we appreciate that and be thankful... And. Managers didn't even show up to apologize for such an event at all. The only thing I was glad about was that we took this photo and can at least share this experience on Yelp. Although I'm still feeling sick looking at this photo. Will NEVER go back there again. Probably worst experience ever. read more

Waiter was pretentious. He did not explain the Menu to us. He just dropped the menu on the table and left. Zero interaction. Waiters spent much of their time grouped up by the kitchen telling jokes and laughing. Two waiters went outside and took a break in front of guests and another waiter locked the doors in an apparent practical joke as we sat waiting for service. Even with covid the ambiance was nice, during the day you get to see breathtaking views of the valley and at night you get a romantic cozy feel from the up lighting hitting the vaulted ceilings. The employees are friendly, professional and attentive to all of your needs. They also give great advice as to what to order if you can't make your mind up. : ) We stayed in the area for a long weekend and ended up coming back to Hoise House for Brunch and Dinner.
