There was a pre-season Seahawks game on one of the TVs and baseball on the other. There are only five or six tables in the lounge but one of them is round and probably seats 6+, along with 10ish stools at the bar. Not too busy, just enough people filtering in and out. Our delightful server, Bobby Jo, was running the lounge like a master. She was so friendly and attentive to everyone. The vibe was intimate local watering hole. We sat at the table by the fireplace, Bloody Mary and a beer first. Hubs ordered the Turkey Dinner and I had the Blue Cheese Steak Salad. Both delicious with just the right portion sizes. We shared a piece of peach cobbler a la mode. Soooooo good. We will have to plan for a breakfast stop and try the café.

Honestly, if your establishment holds 10 or 100 people, the staff and kitchen should be able to manage that number. Once the food finally arrived we were so hungry that I'm certain anything would have tasted good. We didn't complain or ask but they did remove one soda from the tab. My tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and accompanied by some sweet little roasted carrots and a lovely heap of mashed potatoes. My friend reported that her pork was more like a stew, and she really enjoyed it. What really put our experience here over the top was the absolutely amazing service we received, especially from our waiter, Trevor. He was friendly, funny, and helped us navigate the menu when we couldn't decide what to get. He also told us a little about the geological history of the area, which is built over an old coal mine. I don't think the ribeye or the potatoes were seasoned. I get that it came on a sweet onion jam, but that was just sweet. There was no salt or pepper coming through at all on the meat or potatoes. I wish we would have sent it back. I am just not that person. Luckily with enough fresh ground pepper and salt at the table, it made edible. We told our server, she didn't seem to care.
