Wow, what an incredible dinner! I got a chance to meet both owners, Kim (wife) and Chef Alex (husband). My boyfriend and I started off with the Clams! The broth was perfectly seasoned, clams were cooked just right and it had an elegant touch of pork belly, saffron and smoked sausage. Genuinely one of the best orders of clams I've ever tasted. We also ordered the Halibut with a curried coconut sauce and the fried rice cake. The halibut was cooked perfectly, the rice cake was AMAZING!! Perfectly fried and paired so well with the intense and rich flavor of the coconut curry broth. The halibut was seriously the star of the show, you can tell it is fresh by the quality of the meat. My boyfriend was very surprised at how the risotto was prepared. He added steak to his risotto which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The texture and taste was spot on. Our server, Sharae was very pleasant and reccomended alot of amazing drinks to us as well. She took excellent care of us with having the balance Of professional yet fun/ outgoing personality. She was just the sweetest. We finished our meal with a mouthwatering LEMON tiramisu. Out of this world, Melts in your mouth!! Perfect absence of lemon, cream and the cake was rich and both delicate at the same time. 10/10 best restaurant in town. Will be back for breakfast. 3.5. We had a reservation and were sat right away. Unfortunately we didn't have a server assigned to us, so we had to wait until I finally said something. The server that got us was very friendly and nice. We ordered cocktails; a sparkling rose' for me and a jalapeño mojito for my husband. The jalapeño mojito was delicious. Just a tiny amount of heat and the jalapeño came through. I ordered a Caesar salad to start. Was topped with anchovies and was good and crisp. My husband ordered the halibut with green curry. It was cooked to perfection and very tasty. I got the pappardelle ragu because I was told it was fresh in-house made pasta. The sauce was good, but the noodles definitely didn't taste fresh or have in-house made texture. I wouldn't order it again. I was having fomo so we ordered the ribeye medallion crusted with potatoes and I wish we wouldn't have. It was the most bland dish I have had recently. I don't think the ribeye or the potatoes were seasoned. I get that it came on a sweet onion jam, but that was just sweet. There was no salt or pepper coming through at all on the meat or potatoes. I wish we would have sent it back. I am just not that person. Luckily with enough fresh ground pepper and salt at the table, it made edible. We told our server, she didn't seem to care. We decided we couldn't end on a bad note with the ribeye medallion, so we got the lemon tiramisu. I have never heard of lemon tiramisu. It was so good. I highly recommend. I saw the chop tomahawk come out of the kitchen multiple times and it looked amazing. Ambiance is great. There is an open kitchen so that can be loud. Be aware there are high top tables when you make reservations. Would definitely go back. read more

Party of 2 popping in for a late lunch on 12/13 after Christmas browsing along the few blocks close to this restaurant. Not super busy, greeted and seated right away. Sweet little table right next to the fireplace with a view straight into the galley kitchen. Centrally located for all to see, several busy bees putting on a show of prepping and cooking. Menu is not overwhelming with just enough choices to cover the bases. Hubs had a perfectly prepared Ruben and I had the yummy just thick enough Clam Chowder. Our server was chatty and friendly. Nice place on downtown Main Street but pricey. Appetizer: Fried cauliflower- looked burn but it is not. I would have prefer a little less fried in terms of nutrients value but it was surprisingly good. Entrees: Salmon pasta with garlic burrata - burrata was yummy but Salmon was way overcooked, even though I requested for medium rare. HamBurger - my husband said he loved it. Korean Short Rib- our friend loved it. Desserts: Berry crumble- it was very good. The best out of the 3 desserts. Bread pudding- it's was too dense and hard. Bread pudding should be soft and moist. I am so sad to leave this two star review. I haven't been to this spot in a year, but it's a fave spot. Something has clearly changed. There were many, many things that went awry with our dining experience, which would not be a huge issue but our server handed the errors and our requests with clear annoyance that escalated over the evening. We had issues with our drink order, food order and I was given an incredibly rude reaction after requesting separate checks. I am actually appalled. Please do better. read more

Well went online to place an "Togo" order, the website took it, gave me my confirmation (#18) and time 5:30 pm pick up for today, 5/11/2025. Drove into town specifically to pick up dinner, completely locked with no sign, all lights off. If you're closed for something, you shouldn't allow guests to place to go orders online. This is a pretty embarrassing oversight and poor business. Charged $70 for an entree and two sides that were never received, zero communication from business. Obviously they'll have to refund me... I mean, I guess eventually if they ever open back up or respond to customers?!! Late to post but we stopped by on the way home from eastern Washington and came in shortly before breakfast ended. We've been here for breakfast before and this time managed to hit lunch. We ordered the tomato bisque and grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, and steamed clams with pork belly. All 3 were fantastic in their own way but our favorite was the grilled cheese and the bisque. The bread was buttery with the perfect crisps from the panini press. The bisque is perfectly cooked from scratch and is fantastic. The Mac and cheese doesn't feel 'heavy' when you eat it and the clams with pork belly are a great hand snack while you're eating everything else. We will be back for dinner one day! read more

Everything was perfection. The service, the food, the ambiance... perfect. We were greeted by Kim, who my husband complimented for her professional responses to some ridiculous (IMO) reviews. She was very gracious. We ordered the clams, the best I have ever had, saffron broth with pork belly and chorizo. We asked for extra bread so we could enjoy the broth! We also ordered the halibut, OMG, I am still craving that dish. The curry sauce was amazing, the rice cake was yummy, and the roasted cauliflower, I could eat that every day of the week. The halibut was cooked perfectly and the peas gave this dish an all around 5 stars. We found our new favorite place, having given up on our Roslyn restaurant we used to love. read more

We had an absolutely awful experience here last night, and I feel compelled to warn other families. We arrived right at 6:00 pm for our dinner reservation with our 1.5-year-old and 4-year-old and immediately asked for a high chair. The waitress informed us that the restaurant only has two high chairs total, and both were already in use. That was it. No alternative, no solution, no apology. What exactly are parents supposed to do? Hold a toddler on their lap through an entire dinner service? Also, how does a restaurant this size have only 2 high chairs? It's not like more high chairs take up more space as they can be easily stacked and left in the corner. I asked if we could please have one of the high chairs as soon as it became available, and she assured us that wouldn't be a problem. Spoiler: it was. After placing our food and drink orders, my 4-year-old noticed his friend at the same table had an orange juice and asked for one as well. When we tried to order it, we were told they had already run out of orange juice for the night. This is at 6:15 pm. Early dinner service, supposedly family-friendly restaurant, and no juice for kids. Unbelievable. The final straw was watching another waitress literally take an unoccupied high chair from a different table and bring it to her guests who arrived way later than we did around 7pm. When I pointed this out to our waitress, all we got was a half-hearted, dismissive "sorry." No follow-up. No attempt to fix the situation. Nothing. By the end of the meal, no manager came by, no one apologized, and no effort was made to make things right--not even a small gesture for the kids. They simply carried on as if this level of service was perfectly acceptable. This was a terrible experience from start to finish, and we will absolutely not be returning. Despite what they may claim, this is not a family-friendly restaurant. If you're dining with young children, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

My husband and I went here, visiting from out of town. We were so pleased with the food - so good! However, one thing that I could not shake was that the sourdough bread (which is advertised on the menu as Dom's House Artisan Sourdough) we ordered was straight out of a plastic bag, Seattle Sourdough Baking Co. When the bread came, I said, "that's just toasted, pre-sliced store bought sourdough", my husband was like "no waaaay". Sure enough about 10 minutes later I saw the chef twisting up a bag of it and placing it back on the shelf, not even hiding that it's literally bought at the store! That was very disappointing. We had a large group call in for a reservation, had to call around 5 times over the course of an hour to get that situated. They would keep leaving us on hold and not get back to the phone. So that already created a poor experience. Upon arriving we were seated and ordered our meals. They ended up messing up the orders for the steak and had to re-fire them. This caused 2 meals to come an hour after the rest of the group got their food. Ended up having to Togo those since everyone already finished their meals. The food was good but service made the experience very stressful and frustrating. Would not recommend for such an expensive place! You should pay the same price and go somewhere they actually provide the level of service that matches the ticket. read more

Fabulous service!! I was really impressed that a cool place like this was in Cle Elum and open on a Sunday. We met the owner very nice person and the food was delicious. I give it five stars for delivering just as described. They have a dish with kimchi that is fantastic they even gave me extra kimchi :) love the accommodation. read more

The food is out of this world for sure! The trendy but cozy atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable. I found all of their staff to be wonderful and friendly. They really take pride in their drink menu, making all their syrups etc. in house rather than store bought and it shows! Lovely wine selection as well. My one issue was my steak was so rare I was uncomfortable eating it. I sent it back to get a little more cooked, they did check in again with me but I didnt see much difference. I'll go medium rare if I have to but this was still mooing. Easy street parking outside, I would make reservations in the summer and popular months to visit the area for sure. read more

We came for lunch on our way through town, and what a treat! Excellent service, wonderful, tasty food at prices that aren't outrageous. The chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked. I found the BBQ sauce version a little on the sweet side, so next time I'll order it with peanut sauce. The FGTAB sandwich is served on some kind of fresh, tasty bread that deserves its own praise. Wonderful food, unexpectedly great spot for such an out of the way place. In a much bigger city it would be competitive but in cle elum it feels like a hidden treasure. Wanted to love it, Parked out front at 8:50 and walked in at 9:00after the 4 hr drive from ferry terminals. ( we weren't rushing since they're open until 10). Sadly Greeted by two females, dismissive annoyed looks from bartender and server and told. "We are closed" as there were 3-4 couples inside finishing up. We asked I thought website says 10. " ohh it confusing that's for drinks". We asked how about simple options that would work easy for kitchen. Nope not here. Sorry If you had been here at 8:30 that's different. Service / delivery greeting was poor at best Confusing times and looks like recent reviews are dropping them lower. Maybe they've gotten too comfortable and easier to turn away $100 tab for dinner and cocktails. Will not be back. We Recommend you find elsewhere in your way into town or surrounding area. Looked nice inside, bar looked stocked for a nite cap. Will never be back. Update August 2024 Updating my review post Kim's reply Yelp did not have the time that you close marked at 9 PM. This is exactly why we went to your restaurant since the posted close time was 10 PM or else we would have gone elsewhere. If our review was the catalyst to provide correct and updated Yelp information That's fantastic. I think many Yelp users do not re-verify the information on the restaurants website. Best experience! We had a cozy couch at the front and they thought of everything- the couch sits low and the table height is high enough that you can very comfortably eat at it. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was simply incredible. Our salads were not only works of art, but delicious (House salad and Burrata salad). Our mains were two of the best meals we've had in some time- The spiced cider and beer braised short rib was quite generous and everything about it was satisfying. The Wild Cod was PERFECTLY cooked- and was a delicate and creatively spiced top notch experience. We will be back!! read more

I have lived in Cle Elum for the past 35 years and have always supported the local restaurants. We had a big event coming up with birthday celebrations and out of towners. I made reservations a few days prior for my family of 7. We were very excited and looked forward to a great meal with our our visitors and family. We were seated at 6:30, after we slid another table to make room for all of us (You would think the restaurant would have had our table ready), We waited about 20 min before we were served water and menus. Another 20 minutes slipped by when our server took our drink orders and another 15 min when the drinks showed up. Then I had to ask our server for appetizers, another 20 minutes slipped by before our apperzers showed. At 7:45 we flagged her again to place our orders. the food finally showed up around 8:15, without my wife's order which was totally forgotten. I had to order additional drinks for my family at the bar. We all finished before my wife's meal arrived, she declined the meal, she did not want to eat by herself. The food was great, but the service sucked. The restaurant took $100.00 off our bill, however, I recommend avoiding the Orchard until they get better help and staff.
