I ordered a marble cake with raspberry filling for my husband's 40th birthday party and it was a hit. The flavors were amazing and the decor didn't go unnoticed. All the guests were in love with the space theme cake. The service was great and the owner of the shop was very sweet. I definitely recommend this place and will come back for more.

I sent over a few examples from Pinterest and gave creative control to the staff. They were professional responded fast via email, and did a wonderful job. The cake was moist, rich in taste and extremely detailed. Tandis is a perfectionist and it shows in her work. She was timely, and under promised but over delivered with the quality. The picture does it no justice. The cake was a showstopper. She even suprised me with adding a rotating feature to the vehicle at the top. It spun 360 degrees the entire event. Tandis was very pleasant to work with. She made my vision, reality. Tandis is by far one of the best in the industry. Can't wait until my next event!

But really, I was just thinking at 5pm on a rainy Friday "I forgot to order the cake" for my son's birthday the next day! I glance over to the next strip center and see Sweetland Cakery. I had went to another person for a cake and that person bailed on me 4 days before the surprise birthday party I was throwing. I had to find someone last minute. She just bailed on my son's 1st birthday cake. I spoke with her on 10/13 regarding the cake, design and date of the party. She asked for $100 deposit. Made it today, 10/16, and she sent me a text saying "so sorry but someone else booked the last availability today". She had my number, she never once contacted me or texted me that someone else is interested in the same date. But she sent me a text within minutes of receiving my deposit. Very poor business practice, and now I am stuck with trying to find someone to make my son's cake with less than 2 weeks to go. Will never go with this place again. read more

The Earl Grey Matcha had a nice blend of earthy matcha with subtle floral notes, while the Double Matcha was sweet, creamy, and great if you enjoy pistachio-flavored matcha lattes. My only critique is that both drinks were a bit sweeter than I expected. As the ice melted, they became a little watered down, so I'd recommend drinking them before that happens or asking for less ice. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would come back to try more of their drinks.

I also tried the Lux bagel. It tasted good, but there was way too much cream cheese for me, so I had to scrape quite a bit off before I could enjoy it. I'm taking off one star because the customer service felt a little off. The woman at the front wasn't very friendly, and she even asked us what the price of the croissant was, which was confusing. A simple greeting, smile, and a little more attentiveness would have made the experience much better. Hospitality matters when you're working with customers. The coffee was definitely the highlight, though, and I'd come back for that pistachio iced coffee.

My daughter was anxiously waiting to celebrate her 21st birthday with friends in Europe while studying abroad. The pandemic changed everything. She had to be quarantined in Houston. The very last minute I started looking for a place to order a cake for her. After checking various bakeries online, going through their designs and description, I decided to call Sweetland Cakery. As soon as I started talking to Tandis I knew that I chose the right place to order from. She was extremely patient while I was brainstorming the design and very helpful with suggestions. The cake exceeded all expectations! It was not just beautiful but also unbelievably delicious taking into consideration the fact that I am very picky. She also made very cute and tasty cookies for us. I would recommend this place in a heart beat!!! Thank you Tandis for such a great job!!! read more

i am so happy with how good our wedding cake looked and tasted. Sweetland Cakery copied EXACTLY what we wanted and couldn't have made a better tasting cake.The artistic design of the whole cake was amazing. Our cake tasting appointment was wonderful as they were really accommodating with us choosing what flavor to go for and they couldn't have been more spot on. We are really happy with the end result and choosing sweetland Cakery was the best decision ever, as all of our guests enjoyed the cake very much and many of them asked us for the name of the bakery. definitely will return for all of our future (hopefully very many to come) occasions. Recently ordered a cake from Sweet Land Cakery for my father's 70th birthday, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The cake was not only visually stunning but also absolutely delicious. Sweetland Cakery is the go to place for custom made cakes. We ordered a cake for a 60th birthday celebration. Tandis was great in helping us design a cake that would be feed 25 guests, and stayed within our budget. Customer service is great! The cake was fantastic! It was moist, tasty and no super sweet. All of the guests loved it! We will definitely order our next cake from Sweetland Bakery! read more
