I went back several times, first to browse, then to buy my dress, veil and shoes, and then to go back for a slip. Every time, I was greeted promptly, and with much kindness. Even though the shop was small (this was before they moved down the street to their much larger and improved location), they did their best to make me feel comfortable, to allow me the space I needed to make decisions, and were not pushy or overbearing at all. They even let us take pictures from every angle of each dress, even though it meant we were spending extra time there. They offered great suggestions when I was stuck, and always met every deadline. Sometimes the store gets busy, so you obviously have to be patient and wait your turn, but when they are helping you they give you their full attention and make you really enjoy the otherwise scary process of buying your dream dress. To top it all off, the selection was fabulous, I was able to find a very unique, stylish, and "me" dress in no time, and I was able to purchase it for a fraction of the cost I had been expecting given the quality and detail of the dress. (I wanted an embroidered and beaded dress with elaborate features, which cost anywhere from $650 to $3,000 at the other stores I went to, but at Sweetheart Bridal, I purchased it for $250, and the quality was much better than anywhere else). The savings were so big that I was able to get a more elaborate veil, dyed shoes, and the perfect slip, all of which were things that I did not think I could with our budget. They even steamed and pressed the dress as well as did a bead-check for free before I picked it up. After trying out seven stores before this one and being pushed into prices and styles I did not like or want (it is my wedding dress after all, I should be the one to choose it), I always recommend this one hands-down to everyone I know. read more

I was in there early on a Saturday and had Sarah assisting me. She was amazing. When I got there Sarah explained to me how wedding dresses run bigger so I needed to go up a size or two from my pant size. She then showed me where those sizes were then let me and my parents pick through them. Once we found dresses that we liked she took them to the fitting room and took the bags off them. After we thought we had found all of them that we liked she showed us to my fitting room. I was unable to zip the dresses on my own but as soon as I came out there she was to assist in zipping, both her and my mother. After trying on several dresses, ones that myself and family picked as well as the ones Sarah grabbed for me to try. I ended up putting on the very first dress again, Sarah was there again and ready to accessorize the dress with the veil giving me the full effect of what that dress would be if I decided to go with it. I ended up leaving the store to go to two other bridal shops, one of which I found the same dress, but after my experiences elsewhere nothing beat that dress and the customer service I got from Sarah. That is when I knew that that first dress was the dress and called back Sweetheart Bridal. Sarah just happened to answer the phone and when I told her I would like return try that dress on again, never told her who I was, Sarah knew who I was and said she would have the room ready. In which she did. I put my deposit on the dress and she also discussed all the accessories they had, as well as showing me the different veil options in the books. I had an amazing experience at Sweetheart! The young lady that was helping us was amazing. I went into the shop with no idea of the dress I wanted or what would look on my body and she pulled a ton of options that made me feel like an amazing bride! Everything she offered fit my body like a glove and made me feel beautiful. She was kind in everything she did for me, wanted to know all about me and my family and fiance, and was also super helpful with offering lots of ideas of different things we could do with the dresses. She wasn't pushy or just after a sale. I left that night with an idea of the dress I wanted and ended up calling back the next morning to get it. She was even excited over the phone because she remembered me and pulled all the dresses I tried on so I could decide. I spent another hour or two deciding, didn't have an appointment or anything, and she still made everything all about me and what I needed. We had such a great experience here!! We had tried several places in Salt Lake and elsewhere, then heard about this place from a friend. It's out of the way and easy to miss, but spread the word that this is a great place. Though small, it had some wonderful dresses at the best prices we had seen yet, and I found one that felt like it was tailored just for me for just a little over $300! Best of all, Chad, who was working then, was the most helpful, kind, and non-pushy person we have yet worked with. We called a few minutes before closing to see if there was anyway we would have time to pop in, and he kept the place open until we got there-- unheard of! I'm not usually one to write reviews but I thought that this place deserves an amazing review because I had an amazing experience. These people went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I've been to A LOT of other bridal shops in the Provo area (and even Salt Lake) and they definitely have the best selection for the best prices. The owners really care about their job and know that this experience (picking a wedding dress) is practically sacred to most brides. They didn't push anything which is a huge plus in my eyes because they are in the selling business. They gave me attention but also gave me some space to decide and talk to my party. I had a really great experience with Sweetheart Bridal. They were actually the last stop on my list in the area but I really wish they were the first! Sweetheart Bridal was by far the most pleasant experience in a bridal shop. They were kind, attentive and helpful without getting in my face. They really listened to what I wanted. I found my dream dress within a half hour of setting foot of the place. It is gorgeous, modest and had all of the features I wanted! I had the BEST experience buying my wedding dress at Sweetheart Bridal. The sales associate (Amelia) that helped us was awesome - she was not pushy at all (quite a nice change from the ladies at the 5 other places we went to) and she made us feel very comfortable. I was able to find the perfect dress for less than half the price of what other shops told me was the minimum I would need to spend based on what I was looking for. I looked all the way from Layton to Provo and this shop was my favorite. I loved their variety and their dresses seemed to be more updated and in style (even though still modest) than the other places that were so traditional and their dresses seemed to be the same I saw my friends wear 10 years ago. This store has amazing workers, good selection, and wonderful prices! My sister wanted a dress that was fully covered in lace and beading. All the other places we looked said that couldn't happen for under $800! But we found the perfect one for her, covered from top to bottom in lace and beading for about $450!
