CHECK POSHMARK FIRST IF YOU WANT TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BOUTIQUE. I'm sure it's full of people with brand new clothes with the tags still on because Bella Ella rejected their return for a frivolous reason. You know it's bad when you have to pin your return policy as the first post on your Facebook page and disable/hide all comments. This place is a scam. As others have noted, they are incredibly liberal with what they deem as "damaged" and what they'll reject in their return policy. I ordered two sizes of a dress. I had the dress on no longer than to gauge between the two sizes that I ordered. I tried to return the dress and they said it had an "odor" and rejected the return. There is no way this had any more odor on it than what happens when you try on something when you're physically in the store. They embellished the "damage" by saying they let it air out and the odor was still there; an outright lie as this was on my body for 30 seconds. To add insult to injury, you have to pay for shipping both ways. So when I do resell this item, I will come nowhere near breaking even. Check Poshmark or do a Google image search on the item of clothing you want. It's the same stuff that other boutiques carry and hopefully you'll find somewhere that's a much more reputable company to give your money to. read more

Just returned a dress today that actually was cute and good quality, but I ended up going with a different option. The worker let me know that their return policy was ONLY store credit--sure wish they had told me that when I bought it in the first place. Also wish I had seen their very low Yelp reviews. Who knows how long this little Utah pop up will even be in business basically paid for nothing and now will have credit that probably doesn't get used. I had the absolute displeasure of dealing with Trevor Williams when I contacted customer service about a return that was not refunded. He responded that they were way behind. As this is not acceptable given the time that had passed, I disputed the charge with Paypal. He proceeded to send me a threatening email accusing me of stealing from the company. The shirt I received looks terrible, the quality is horrible. The front of the shirt where the horizontal lines meet the vertical lines is sewn crooked. Bad enough where you wouldn't even want to wear it... see below. Naturally, I want a replacement or refund. When I contacted customer service with the pictures attached, on two different occasions the response was, "Unfortunately variations in sewing pattern do not constitute as damages or defects, and we would be unable to replace this." The shirt I received is beyond a "variation in sewing pattern", it is a clear defect. After a phone call to customer service, the rep., Trevor, agreed with me that the shirt looks terrible, but then in the same sentence stated, "there's not much I can do for you." He advanced the issue to someone "above him", but the response was: "Unfortunately the policy exception request was denied." So I issued a return only to find out that the only option is to get store credit and, after calling, they refused to issue me a refund, only store credit. Really awful company to deal with. They are unreasonable and lie to suit their needs then double down when caught in the lie. I ordered a dress 15 days before an event. I paid for 2-3 day shipping. Even though I had confirmed my address multiple times and it is the same address as is on my driver's license, they claimed they couldn't ship the item because my address was invalid. I had already received a confirmation email from them about the payment and purchase. I believed the transaction to basically be finished. I like Bella Ella clothes and I read their advertisement emails fairly often. However, on average I receive about 3-5 a day from them, it's a lot. They sent me 1 particular email on the day I purchased the dress asking me to confirm my address again...I missed it. So, I confirm the address eight days later when I realize they still haven't even sent it. But, they won't cancel and refund the order!!! They claim they have to ship it because I confirmed the address. A Better Business Bureau report has been filed against them in order to request a refund for an order that still hasn't been fulfilled. According to USPS, they haven't received the package and the boutique is now closed for the weekend. I'm sure I won't get my money back. But, avoid this shop. If I could rate 0 stars I would. This boutique has cute clothes, but they're wildly over priced & they do not refund your money. I had some issues with shipping. 1 out of two packages arrived to my house, but the other one got sent back for some reason. Customer Service reached out to me requesting I pay an additional shipping fee for it being sent back & to resend it to my address. I was very frustrated by this because the first one made it just fine. When I asked the Representative about it, she proceed to blame it on me saying I should've put my correct address in in the first place. Annoying but not the end of the world. I then used the store credit to order a shirt and when I got the shirt there was a hole in it. When I reached out, customer service was condescending and suggested "I donate it to a local charity." I have purchased a dress to wear to a wedding and it was supposed to arrive a few days before the event. It never came on time, in fact it was delivered almost a week later. The dress I have purchased looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The color was much darker and it was significantly oversized. The quality of the item was absolutely terrible. The seams were crooked and the threads were sticking out everywhere. The bottom of the dress is noticeably uneven ( it is about 2 inches longer on the left side) and the collar awkwardly protrudes in the back. They do not issue refunds and only offer store credit. I am not excited to purchase anything from them again considering the poor quality of the item received. Moreover, they charge for shipping if you wish to return or exchange. Their return policy is mentioned somewhere in the fine print so they can blame customers for not reading carefully. I was surprised to see all the great reviews for the item I've purchased. I have left a one star review and photos on their website but it was never posted. ZERO STARS!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I bought three dresses as options for a wedding. None of the clothes looked like the photos. There was wayyyy too much fabric and it all fit horribly. Not like the wrong size horribly, but just made like crap. One of the dresses I ordered was pictured with a slit going up the side of the dress. When I tried it on the slit, it went up the middle to my belly button. Not only that, but the gap which was the "slit" showed EVERYTHING. From my feet straight up to my belly button, straight up, you could see my whole underwear, nothing was covered. I spent $202 on 3 dresses that don't fit or look like the photos. Now get this, I returned all 3 dresses (and had to pay $6 for shipping). Then I get a notification that the $196 remaining, I do not get back. Instead, I get an e-gift card with MY money. So essentially, I wasted $202 on clothes that were nothing like the photos and now I can't even get the money back AND I am expected to buy more crap quality clothing from their store. They claimed they were unable to refund me and that I would have to get the dress and return for STORE CREDIT if I didn't want it. Beware when buying from here because on top of their horrible customer service and horrible return policy they also make you pay to ship your return item back !!! Very poor experience. They have a very "fine print" return policy. Basically you will never get your money back if you are unhappy with your purchases. I checked out the policy before I completed my purchase at the top of the site where it says "returns" because that makes sense right? It says "items discounted 30% or more or marked as final sale are not eligible for return." OK... I made sure to not buy any items that fit this description, but it turns out they have another "fine print" -very hard to find I might add- extensive return policy that has more specifications for final sale items. Most people would not know to look for these specific qualifications as final sale but I think the whole thing is really deceptive and I feel very taken advantage of. My mistake for believing in reliable customer service... You'll find many items are not even eligible for a return and if they are they ONLY give back store credit. The dresses are also pretty expensive and they sell a lot online so it's a big risk you're taking since they won't accept returns if the items don't fit or you don't like them in person. I kindly asked the customer service team for an exception since their return policy is so fine print and hard to find on their website but it was a no go. I ordered several items from this boutique and when I received one of the sweaters I realized they either completely wrote the description incorrectly or it was the wrong product. I reached out for help the day after receiving it and went back and forth with someone (13 emails) to eventually find out they weren't going to assist me because it was on sale ($19.97) and they don't return sale items, no matter what the issue is. BEWARE of their return policy. I purchased a black dress which did not fit and they did not have the size up at the time, so I decided to go ahead and return and keep an eye out for the size when it came in stock. I sent the return in and they claimed it had dog hair on it and could not accept the return. I find it highly unlikely that my dog's black hair was so eye catching on an all black dress that they could not accept the return. Also, the dress was out of the bag for a total of 5 minutes for me to try on and immediately put back in the bag. I asked them to send me a picture of the dog hair, to which they never did. After many emails, I finally was able to get store credit, yet they shorted me $6.00 for shipping. Which I payed for the shipping in the first place, so I'm really not sure how I purchased something, paid for shipping, returned due to it being the wrong size, and now got shorted for the dress and paying shipping again to get the correct size. In addition, I purchased a green dress for around $75 and to be honest the material did not justify $75 worth and was see through on the backside. I decided to return and they claimed it smelled like detergent. No issues with it besides it smelled good apparently. I decided to have them send it back to me (because lets be honest they were going to put it back on the shelf to sell). To which they emailed me an invoice to PAY FOR THE SHIPPING TO RETURN MY RETURN. So I paid more for this damn dress in the long run. I really did like this shop and have bought and loved many other items. These are the only two items I ever had to return/exchange.. it's unfortunate customer service was so passive aggressive. Their dresses are not true to size so I always have to go up a size and they don't carry XL.
