This location has serious staff problems and needs new hires. These people have horrible customer service. My co workers and I have had a bad experience SO many times. Today I'm fed up and have to leave a review. I placed an order on the app for pick up that was supposed to be ready for 3:15. Of course it was not made when I got there and wasn't ready till 3:25. I placed an order for pick up for a reason. Now 10 min out of a short 30 min lunch break has been wasted. This has happened before and enough is enough. They weren't even busy so there is no excuse. There was no urgency in completing my order and there was no apology. In general there is never any urgency with any order even when placing it in store. Everyone moves so slow and act as if they don't care and hate their jobs. They all look miserable. Big changes need to happen at this location. read more

Love the atmosphere, the decor and loved how there are so many different options. There are vegan and non vegan options and you can also build your own salad to your own liking. I ordered ahead of time through the app and i got the Mexican corn elote bowl. I switched the quinoa for the wild rice (no extra charge) and i also added some chickpeas and avocado (extra charge). My total came out to about $14 dollars with tax. I was skeptical at first that this would even fill me up considering it is just a salad but oh boy did it really fill me up! And it was super delicious! I think this will be my new favorite spot to go get a vegetarian friendly lunch. The only downfall I would say is that it does get busy at certain times (especially lunch time) BUT if you have the app you can order ahead of time and not have to wait in line. I am a Sweetgreen aficionada, but my most recent visit was largely disappointing. After my order was started I was informed that there was neither bread crumbs nor quinoa so I asked to change my order. My server recommended the buffalo chicken bowl, however as we progressed down the line there was neither kale, pickled carrots, celery, nor Caesar dressing. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, the standard of care is to discount the meal or offer a coupon of sorts, and apologize, none of which I received. This certainly left a poor taste in my mouth, and I will not be visiting this location in the future. More attention desperately needs to be allocated to proper staff training. read more

I was called ignorant by one of the workers and talked about me out loud as I left the restaurant. I asked for help with the app because all I did was press reorder and my order according to them did not call for lettuce in the salad. I asked them to help me figure out what I did wrong and they rudely said they did know how to work the app. The manager did nothing to stop her from being disrespectful. There have been plenty of times that my order is not ready on time and the workers have been rude when I have told them that I ordered using the app. I've gone there during nonpeak times and the place is a mess. I love the food! I am so happy to have a "fast food" shop for Vegans! I ordered online once and everything was great. Then I ordered in store and I was spoken to in way that was way be low customer-service-friendly. I had never ordered in store before and I didn't know that the rice was considered "warm items" (stupid me). When it was time to make my own salad, and she asked if I wanted anything "warmed" I said no then asked for rice with the greens. She had to start over (there was just the greens in the bowl) and yelled at me saying "didn't you think that's what I meant by warm items?!" Obviously this was not apparent to me and I was new to the game. I felt really stupid and disrespected and wanted to just turn and leave. I am a sweetgreen fan already, and the salads here are in keeping with other locations, fresh and great tasting. Also love the beverage selection. Maybe it was an off day, and night on another occasion, but the staff was unpleasant. They should take a lesson from Caffe Nero a few doors down in that regard. Also the music is way too loud. I could have written any one of a number of these reviews because my experience tonight was the exact same. I went into the Legacy Place location of Sweetgreen and with four people working at the counter not one asked if they could help me. It wasn't like I was being indecisive. I knew exactly what I wanted to order but I had to wait for one of the four to decide who was going to wait on me. It was as if I was inconveniencing them. While the salad was delicious, I prefer to patronize places with employees who at least act like it's not killing them to be there. Based on many similar reviews I blame management 100%. Wow, what a disappointment. i had been looking forward to trying sweetgreen, since i'd never been to one, but i won't be back. the salad was 99% greens with only the most minimal amount of other ingredients added. This is the most poorly run fast casual resturaunt I've ever experienced. Sweet green has a good product so I've given this location several tries but it's always a disgusting experience. Walked in today almost slipped on two different spills all over the floor, waited in like 25 minutes while the staff all argued in the back. After 25 minutes they told us how they don't have chicken. Then disappeared for 10 minutes, more yelling, comes back line is bigger now credit card machine is down and if you're paying cash they can't give you any $1s or$5s for change. This place sucks. Hire some motivated college/high school students and get rid of these hoodlums. read more

Dirty atmosphere--tables not clean, food on the floor. Service was horrible. They left the goat cheese---my favorite-- off of my salad, and avocado was smeared on the outside of the bottom of my bowl because staff do not wipe the counters. The "build your own" prices are very high. My salad with just a few "pick your own" ingredients was $17! It came with a tiny, tasteless piece of bread. Salads for a family of 4 (two adults, two children) was $54 without drinks, and two of those salads were left uneaten, as they were truly awful. I would never return! The first time I went to the Dedham location I got there at about 9 (they close at 10) and all of the employees were cleaning and there was one other person in line and I waited about 10 mins because the person making the salads was taking with other employees. this was my first time ever trying SG and it was a very nice experience! all the tables were rly clean, the staff was really outgoing and attentive! and they cruised through a long line quickly but didn't make me feel rushed or anything. props to this crew.
