    Loaded veggie bowl

We ordered takeout. We ordered kale Caesar salad with chicken and loaded veggie bowl. Food is fresh & delicious (see pictures below). HOWEVER we ordered a kale Caesar salad with chicken added - but we did not get any chicken - but we were still charged an extra $2.99. Unfortunately we did not realize this until we got home & opened up our take out bags. 4 stars only b/c they charged us for chicken we didn't get. Hope they will refund us!

    Acai bowl

This place is awesome! We were a little skeptical at first but man this is one of the best smoothie/healthy eating places we've been to in Boston. Got the Cloud toast and Acai bowl. We just moved to Roslindale and are pumped this is going to be a new staple for us. Also really great espresso!

The complex that Ula is in is super cute, there is typically plenty of parking. It's also right on the orange line, so there is easy access. Ample indoor and outdoor seating made getting a table a breeze. We ordered an iced coffee, iced latte, vegan burrito, and an Amort St sandwich. The Amory was really yummy, my partner enjoyed it. The coffees were pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing to write home about. The flavor in the latte was pretty weak. I added caramel to it as well, but it just tasted like milk; it's nice if the espresso taste or caramel flavor shines through, but it didn't deliver here. Fiore's and Third Cliff are still my go-to's for a good latte. While we waited for the burrito to come out, the chef came and told us he didn't have the necessary ingredients. He offered great replacements and made recommendations. He was super kind and honestly made our experience much better. Give that person a raise! Overall, good experience! Food was really good. Ambience and service were good. Coffee not great. Definitely worth a stop-in!

I got a coffee and this berry hibiscus scone which was fabulous--soft, fluffy, and not too dry on the inside. I loved the glaze on top. I had the kafta kebab wrap (so delish), the chicken shawarma (not as good as the kafta- the chicken pieces were too big). And then the desserts!! I had the chocolate Halva - soooo good. And the Dubai chocolate- kunafi which was like nothing g I've ever had before. I want to go back and try the rest of the menu! You order at the counter and then grab a table. It was crowded at 6 on a Friday night. The man running the place was kind and helpful I adored him and this place.

Ordering was at the counter and the person was so friendly and patient with our questions. We initially only ordered the chicken shawarma and moussaka and Dubai chocolate cup (no matter what, this is what I needed!). As we ate, we realized the food was good and we'd like to try other items. So we got a mulberry juice and a flatbread - 1/2 zaatar and 1/2 cheese. Everything was tasty. Some specific points: the chicken shawarma is more like a kebab than the shaved chicken I'm used to, it would be nice if they offered both. The zaatar can be a little tart and that's where the cheese balances it out. The mulberry juice is sweeeeet but great for a hot summer day. The moussaka came out cold which I was a little surprised by. The Dubai chocolate was fantastic, the only downside is that it's tiny haha. I could've eaten one more. It's an airy bright place and they also have seating outside. Parking is convenient. I'm sure we'll be back.

It was 9 of their plates plus a dessert. It was way too much food (they had said it would be). We could have simply picked what we wanted to eat and gotten a reasonable amount of food for a reasonable price. I do not recommend "The Ride". As for the food, we liked the tuna tartare (a tad salty, but still good) and the hamachi crudo. The brussels are noteworthy at Brassica, so it was nice to get them - they are charred with maple and miso and served over white rice. The pork belly was fine. The lobster pasta was so spicy we couldn't eat it. The oxtail was excellent - I loved the flavors of the tomatillo; ironically, we probably would have not ordered that unless it came with The Ride, and I am glad we got to try it. The one thing we had that didn't seem to be in the menu was duck, which was very good. We also were served a pepperoni pizza and caesar salad, neither of which I could eat because I was so full. And the salad was so salty, I wouldn't have been able to eat it anyway. Dessert was tiramisu, which was solid. I'll go back to brassica, but pick my own dishes, and ask for ones that aren't spicy and have less alt in them,. To be fair, most restaurants over salt their food these days, which is so unfortunate.
