I've always been a fan of Sweetfin, so when I heard they were creating an Innovation Kitchen to celebrate 10 years and a bold new chapter in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Daniel Patterson, I knew I had to try it. Sweetfin has evolved beyond classic poke, with a menu that feels warmer, brighter, and more craveable, offering everything from hearty bowls to veggie-forward sides. Here's what I tried: *Miso Salmon Bowl-Avocado, miso eggplant, sesame-ginger slaw, pickled carrots, edamame, a crunchy seed and nut mix, and cilantro, all finished with a yuzu kosho mayo and chile vinaigrette drizzle, served over brown rice. *Spicy Chicken Bowl-Spicy gochujang sauce with roasted broccoli, sesame-ginger slaw, a crunchy seed and nut mix, cilantro, and scallions, served over white rice. *Herby Grain Bowl-Avocado, roasted vegetables, spicy herb sauce, crunchy seed and nut mix, pickled carrots, and pickled onions, with a sesame tahini dressing, served over chickpeas, quinoa, and brown rice, with a choice of protein. *Crispy Rice Salad-Napa cabbage, kale, green onion, pickled carrots, cucumber, mint, cilantro, avocado, and cashews, tossed in a chile vinaigrette with a choice of protein. *Roasted Japanese Sweet Potato-Roasted Japanese sweet potato served with yuzu mayo and a spicy seed and nut mix. *Seaweed-Cucumber Salad *Taro Chips-Lightly dusted with a wasabi furikake seasoning. Was nearby and cruised over for a poke bowl. Its really pretty inside and they have a nice little patio on noisy 3rd Street. The new menu looks good, I might go back and try something different. There are so many great options for lunch in the area, everyone gotta step it up. I was dissapointed with the service, they seemed quite stressed and it didn't make for the best experience. I would not go back during the prime time lunch hour. Very busy with online / app orders while I was ordering in person. I had a basic spicy tuna bowl, which was fine. I love trying new spots & my friend really wanted to try out Sweetfin, so we did :-) we both ordered the Remi Cruz Bowl, which consisted of truffle spicy salmon (I did half salmon and half tuna mmMmm), sushi rice base, eel sauce, avocado, cucumber, wasabi furikake, and crispy rice noodles. Everything was soo good... the taste of the truffle on the fish was *chefs kiss*. I also loved the crunchy texture the rice noodles added ! For a Sunday it was pretty empty. Really hoping staff at the 3rd Street location gets this note. Sweetfin is a go-to and I order consistently from multiple locations depending on where I happen to be. A resident of mid-city, I order delivery from 3rd Street often. The last 3 or 4 times, items like the beloved and oh so necessary chili oil, and drinks have been left out. I've always liked Sweetfin as a really great healthy option but these new grilled chicken and grilled salmon plates are incredible. There is a very big portion of protein and the flavors combined super well. Stoked that they are now offering different protein options and it's a super convenient location. The staff here are great EXCEPT for the manager. I did not check my bowl on the way out and I did not like the taste of my bowl. I asked if he could remake it as the salmon did not look or taste as fresh (some). He immediately wants to take me to the side when it was my first time actually having yk return an order. Just simply remake it. Chip does NOT listen to us customers, and I do not trust him to care about my customer experience or yours. I wish we had a better quality manager here, and I'm sure the staff does too. What a jerk. Btw, never get the green onions or sesame as they both ADD to gut issues. But you have to say you don't want these 2 things every time or they place them on your bowl. Hi, I have celiac disease and so I was thrilled when I found this spot on the FindMeGF app which is used heavily by celiacs and other gluten intolerant people. I unfortunately had a reaction right after I finished my bowl. It tastes good but there's something in the ingredients here that is definitely not gluten free. The staff at the counter was very nice but I think the owner needs to look into the details of the ingredients before they continue to make claims this is 100% gluten free on the menu. I'm happy to update my review and try again if the owner confirms they've double checked all the ingredients like soy sauces, seasonings, etc and made adjustments. I know exactly what a gluten reaction feels like and I don't feel well after eating here due to my immune disorder. read more

I hope owner is going to read it. I'm Pharmaceutical Rep in Beverly Hills - West Hollywood Area. My orders for my medical offices clients range between$300 to $1500 per lunch daily. My lunch yesterday was canceled by my client 2 hours prior to scheduled order delivery time bc medical office in Beverly Hills got shut down by Fire Department. I've contacted Foodja right away to cancel the order. However, Foodja customer service has notified me that Sweetfin still charges my corporate credit card for the full amount of $555.00 since the order is ready to go. It's hard to believe that the food was ready since at 10am the venue was closed. If assuming, the order was prepared, the restaurant still used it for other customer, meaning gaining double sales revenue for the same food. I consider charging my credit card for the oder that never been delivered for the full amount based on circumstances of the cancellation is completely wrong and unfair. Per my negative experience with Sweetfin, I will avoid ordering from them and I will share this with all my peers. This is a review for the Tway Bowl only, since this was the meal I ordered! First words: WOW! As someone who went to college and worked a gap year in West LA, I always struggled finding good Vietnamese food near me. Whenever I had cravings, it was better to drive farther to OC or the 626 for authentic flavors. But with the Tway Bowl, with its mix of the best of California fusion and Vietnamese culinary traditions, offers a meal that definitely meets my fix! The Tway Bowl is an interesting combination of a traditional vermicelli dish (rice noodles, Nước Mắm, crispy onions, and rice crackers) with California fresh poke (tuna, shrimp, salmon). I never thought poke would ever go well with vermicelli, but it surprisingly is delicious and tastes divine with Tway's house special Nước Mắm (fish sauce), which my Vietnamese dad has given his authentic stamp of approval. Definitely a must try for those looking into trying some of SweetFin's Asian fusion bowls! From the website, the Tway Bowl will be available in stores from July 6 to Sept 30! In terms of SweetFin itself, I thought the service was pretty great and fast. However, I might refrain from dining in at this specific location because finding parking is a NIGHTMARE!
