    Taro Chips

I love poke and always look for places that use high-quality ingredients. With poke in particular, many places don't retain the fish's flavor, and it quickly becomes unappetizing. Being gluten-free makes trying poke such a risk because of cross-contamination, and with their whole menu gluten-free, I have never felt safer ordering I know I won't get glutened here! Out of all the Sweetfin locations, I always choose this one. The workers are so kind, and the outdoor seating is so peaceful. The blonde female employee is super helpful and genuinely kind! She always lets my family take our time ordering without being rushed and always helps with recommendations and our questions. She helped us decide on the eggplant when we were picking a side to try and it got me hooked on eggplant for a whole couple of days after! (Of course, I was unable to accurately remake their eggplant dish at home) She deserves a raise or some kind of recognition for her efforts! Their food is something I actually enjoy and look forward to every time! We even drive out of our way just to come here because it's tasty in every bite without any flavor fatigue. Their taro chips make a perfect crunchy addition to your poke. Don't think twice just come and try out this spot for yourself you won't regret it. :) P.S (Make sure to get crispy garlic or onion, seaweed salad, edamame, and avocado on your bowl those are non negotiable...the rest is up to you )

Sweetfin just came out with a new menu that was curated by a two-star Michelin chef, and I love these new warm bowls! I tried the miso salmon and steak bowl and both are really good. It's a super balanced meal that leaves you feeling energized. The ingredients are simple but they all pair so well together. This is the perfect healthy dining out option, and I will definitely be back!!

No edamame on the receipt yet they still put it in

Every single time I order a bowl or plate and remove the edamame they still always put in edamame!! So if some dies of an allergy will they start paying attention? I keep ordering to think every time it's going to be better. I've learned my lesson.

I love trying new spots & my friend really wanted to try out Sweetfin, so we did :-) we both ordered the Remi Cruz Bowl, which consisted of truffle spicy salmon (I did half salmon and half tuna mmMmm), sushi rice base, eel sauce, avocado, cucumber, wasabi furikake, and crispy rice noodles. Everything was soo good... the taste of the truffle on the fish was *chefs kiss*. I also loved the crunchy texture the rice noodles added ! For a Sunday it was pretty empty. We got our food so fast & LOVE that they have a parking garage that you don't have to pay $ for, esp in the heart of LA lolll Will I be back? Mayhaps! I'd come back only if I was ever craving this in the area -- but def wasn't worth the almost hour drive there heheh (still yummy tho)

    Truffle albacore bowl

I usually get their custom bowl with veggies and seared albacore but this time decided to try their Truffle albacore bowl and this place never fails! Not only is the food great and fresh but also their drinks are insane. I usually buy either the hibiscus or the matcha and then their guava lemonade and mix it (sooo good) but even by itself the guava lemonade is my absolute fav

Delicious sushi bowls & burritos! I love sweetfin so much. They are healthy, fast, and always so kind. They are also seed oil free for the most part which is awesome! Definitely recommend!!!

I always enjoy a BYOB bowl from sweet fin and they have great customer service! It's a great quick spot to grab food!

This location is great, service is awesome and everything taste so fresh. Is very clean and the people are really friendly

Meh, should have listened to the bad reviews for this place but got too tempted by their sweetfin box combo. Not much to say about this place besides that it's one of the least flavorful fish/poke places I've been too. On the bright side, the taro chips were pretty good. However, everything else was pretty bland and the fish didn't taste right.

My husband has type 1 diabetes so we very rarely eat at Italian ristorantes. Chef Tara has helped us rediscover a new world of flavor without negative impacts on my husband's blood sugar and cholesterol. (Thanks for the variety of non-dairy cheeses!!) Tip for first-timers: go when you can have the brunch or the lunch menu. Then you'll have so many options that you'll have to return! Round 1 Polpettine (meatballs) are made from lentils and texture similar to the real ones; lovely marinara sauce and ground macadamia nut instead of parmesan. Complement this with the citrus notes that highlight the sauteed swiss chard with earthy Italian butter / gigante beans. Round 2 The same beans are in the Greek goddess salad: rich with tomatoes, kalamata olives, and fresh red onions. This was a visually stunning and paired well with the Sicilian almond 'tuna' melt. The tuna is by far the most imaginative. Again, Chef Tara and the back of the house nailed the texture and I loved the hints of crunchy celery. The capers injected tiny bursts of salt and tartness. The only moderation I'd consider is slightly crisping / toasting the sandwich bread -- but the tuna melt sando is great as it is. Pura Vida is a diamond in the rough especially because the storefront is pretty discreet. I sure wish that we lived closer. We'll be back for special occasions in our life!

I bought an anomaly (no...it's not cake). I'm actually still traumatized about the reality of what I put into my mouth that day. Something seeming to be a matcha scone or bread of some sort but was so incredibly unbread like I couldn't even eat it! It had a horrible aftertaste and sort of melted immediately as it hit your mouth. I wonder now, if it was gluten free or something. Had they labeled it as such, I would not have bought that Frankenstein. It looked like bread but had none of the qualities of tasting like bread. So sad. Let your customers make informed decisions! If it's a monster, label it as such! Next, the hummas. I ordered a basic hummus that was supposed to come with pita bread, however I ended up setting this green Jungle thing with all these mint, cilantro and whatever leaves thrown on top. I'm all about a green hummus, the problem was that they had changed the hummus offering but not changed the description on the menu, so it was just a completely different vibe of hummas than what I was expecting. It could have been fine, had it tasted good, but boy oh boy was it a miss on every level. It tasted like green lemon acidic soup. It didn't have the thickness of a hummas with chickpeas. It even had a soda like carbonation to it like as if they added citric acid to it or something. The consistency was like as if you were to blend a bunch of avocados until it became a purée and added enough lemon acidic juice until it was slightly more watery and unpalatable. Then the kicker, pickled veggies! I could cry. Who in the chef came up with this?! It's the most unbalanced thing I've ever had in my life! With something already saturated with lemon, why are you serving me pickled vegetables? Would you also like to serve me a cup of vinegar juice to wash it down with? I vowed never ever to come back, until... I tried their lattes. Hear me out, they make their own syrups. Lattes are amazing, fire, 10 out of 10! So I'll come back for those, and I do, consistently. As for the food and the pastries, who knows maybe they do serve something good in this restaurant, but the first experience was such a miss, that I'm not gonna risk my tastebuds trying to find that out. There's too many really good restaurants in LA. Fool me once... As for the service itself: the managers, the employees, they're amazing; 10 out of ten nice neighborly great people. I just had to be honest about the food. ‍

Not living in LA means YELP is our go to especially since we must find a place that offers gluten free options for the little. I came across this place on the yelp search and it claimed 100 percent gluten free and for that I was intrigued and extremely thankful. This location was in Beverly Hills, parking was easy(we found street, metered parking) not a lot of traffic for it being a Saturday morning but we were new to that area so I cant say what the norm is. When we walked in the bakery was busy with happy customers, amd we were immediately greeted by a couple of the most genuinely nice people of whom I assume are the owners (sorry I forgot to ask). Usually when walking into a bakery that has gluten free options my daughter always looks to me.to see what she can have and from that she willl make a couple or selections, all of which is extremely limited. This time I was able to tell her she could choose anything. Thw way her eyes lit up when she saw the glazed donut, it makes a mom heart want to cry when she gets to experience something so normal as a glazed donut but in this case a glazed donut on a whole other culinary level( so amazingly delicious). She told the gluten free genius helping her that she had never had a glazed donut and he packaged it up on the house. Hannah then proceeded to order as many things from the case as I would allow for the moment. She just wanted to try all the things she had never been able to before. I did have to promise we would be back to buy more the next time we come to LA. She settled on most of the sweets although this bakery has bagels and sourdough bread. Shes not much of a bread eater in general unless its smothered with Nutella so next time we will try the breads. So back to the experience, we sat down and she tried a bite or 2 of everything and LOVED IT ALL!! The glazed donut met all of her expectations and blew her mind. Coming in to second place was the Oreo babka and the croissant. Before leaving Hannah went to thank them and tell them she loved it, she was then given a second item to try(the chocolate croissant). We took it to go and she tried it in the car on the way to the Getty, she was in pure food bliss. Thank you for creating a bakery for the adults and the littles that is safe and delicious. But most importantly thank you for treating my daughter with the utmost respect and genuine kindness you dont find just anywhere. We WILL be back soon.
