It is adjacent to a bakers' supply store (not sure if the two shops are related). My current quest is to find the best macarons, so when I saw that macarons are listed as featured category, I knew I had to check them out! The inside is arranged like a cross between a candy store and the prize counter at Chuck E Cheese ~ kid heaven! They had a couple of displays with jumbo dipped marshmallows and decorated cookies. They also serve Thrify ice cream. All of this was fun, BUT as I walked in, I was hit with an unexpected awful smell. It wasn't burnt food or sugar, but more of a sewage smell. I don't know if it was a problem with the plumbing, but it was definitely off-putting. Nevertheless, I powered on. I asked about what available flavors they had for macarons. And this is where my quest to find the best macarons ended here. They had NONE available :/ Not wanting to leave 100% empty handed, I picked up a couple of their dipped Oreos. Sadly, there was nothing about them that stood out. I haven't decided if I want to come back in hopes of trying their macarons. If I do, I sure hope the shop smells better.

Arrived as a walk in, I did call prior confirming they had cupcakes and they indicated they had them except red velvet. When I arrived I was greeted nicely, asked to see the cupcakes, then it went a little sour when I told her I only wanted 2 or 3. My apologies. I needed for a photoshoot, it was National Black Cat Appreciation Day. Afterwards was gonna give them to friends in celebration. I picked three, she placed in a clear plastic cupcake holder, closed the top, and smashed the frosting and decorations. She proceeded to sell to me. So rather than be more of a bother, I paid for them, couldn't use for the photoshoot, called it a day. Sour deal for me. Yes I could have complained, been picky, and asked for new ones. Should I have to? They are cake bakery owners. They know what they are doing. I did try the cupcakes, & they were no better than the experience. The three cupcakes ordered: Strawberry on strawberry birthday cake and confetti can't remember the third, it was a lemon filled maybe.

Now for the extra part I bought a cannoli and I have to be honest. I've had cannolis all over the world. And this is the best cannoli I've ever had. It was a little expensive at six dollars for a large one. But it was worth every penny every time I go past this place from now on - I will be stopping to get a cannoli. The Bakery goods were so good that I got on the to good to go app. This is my new favorite bakery. The other bakery I've been going to for 30 years is in the San Fernando Valley. But this one puts shame to that one. The selection is a little limited. They don't have all the tons of different bakery items, but what they have is excellent.
