I have to say, I was slightly skeptical…read more BACK STORY: I have remodeled three homes in the past and got burned really bad by a contractor once so I don't pay up front (1/2 at 1/2 and full at end) if they need a deposit for "materials" then I buy them myself now. I bought a brand new build condo so that I didn't have to remodel but Jesus Christ are the Pearlstone architects idiots. Seriously. We're talking doors that open to block the light switches and terrible use of closet space. NOW: I started with one closet which was one side of my laundry room which started with just a shelf and a hanging bar SUCH A WASTE! They came in, knocked it out in one day, BEAUTIFUL!!! Everything seems to be solid, work well, and I am 100% excited now to do my master closet and 2nd bedroom closet.

I have since hired a 3rd party crew to reinstall the closet so there is not much that can be done from CbD but I truly appreciate a business that values their customers. If the problem could have been discussed and remedied before it had to reach the public to have an effect that would be ideal. I do think my water damage issue where the closet system needed to come off the wall is rare (although not rare in high rise condos) but I am glad it sounds like CbD in the future will do their best to address customer's requests. I think for their effort in trying to do right in this case it should get a better rating than 1.

It's so easy to find what I need immediately because everything has a labeled space. I didn't realize how much stress the disorganization was causing me until Amber worked her magic. I breathe a sigh of relief every time I go into my closet -- something I've never been able to do before! So grateful for Amber and The Detailed Life team!

First, they showed up to help me trudge through the terrible job of purging and got me super organized. The painful process was somehow made doable by Kat and her team (shout out to Emmerie!), with their firm but gentle persistence to get it all done. They really kept me on task/gave direction when I needed to sift through things which was incredibly helpful. Otherwise when I had to work or was busy with my kids they never seem to waste a minute. Moving with two toddlers was completely overwhelming, but they unpacked and got us organized in the new house in just two days. I called them back to organize the garage I'd managed to stuff full with overflow and in just a day they had it all perfectly purged, sorted and stacked. They showed up on-time and worked without stopping aside from a short lunch break (which was always fun getting to chat with them) -which was quite impressive given the slog I put them through. They are delightful and super enjoyable and easy to work with, I cannot recommend this crew highly enough!!

He had no lights on his trailer so I didn't see him until he was about 50 feet away. I went under the trailer and hit the axle at around 45 mph suffering head trauma among other things. My life was forever changed. Assessing the damage still years later it was found I lost the ability to organize things around me and remember what I had. I tended to keep things out in the open so I could see it every day and take an account of what I had. Then I moved in with my entire household of stuff into my grandmother's home which was also full of stuff. To make matters worse I had become a bit of a shopaholic after my accident. I could never remember what I bought so I bought it 4 and 5 times over in many cases. I was tripping over boxes and furniture and my family or friends would no longer come inside to visit. My mom did some research and hired Randi Lyman of A Helping Hand. She couldn't have picked a better person to help me. Randi is very considerate and a positive force even in my life today. She is so supportive and in no way looks down on you regardless of your situation. She is so compassionate and incredibly professional. My house is now organized and de cluttered. She helped me make decisions where my thought processes had broken down. I can't thank her enough for what she did. I was also imbued with her thought processes for making decisions about buying and also organizing what I already have. So as new things come in, old things go out and the new stuff is organized. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs help regardless of your situation. Thanks again Randi! You are one of the finest people I know!

He's just a guy with an affinity for organizing, and he also has carpentry skills for building wooden organizational shelves. (This was not necessary for us, as our garage already had wooden shelves built in.) Rich came in, looked at our garage, took photos, discussed what I wanted to accomplish and how to accomplish it, and then quoted a fair price which he stuck to. We agreed on a date, but be forewarned- Rich has other work commitments, and it took awhile for our schedules to match. Once we agreed, the date was solid and honored. Rich arrived late morning as planned, and he worked very hard single handedly all day. He removed wooden shelves that weren't being used in order to make room for larger containers, which to my delight he labeled with easy to remove tape. We loved that Rich labeled everything! He was industrious, polite and efficient, and he hauled off what we weren't keeping at no extra charge. When the work was complete, Rich gave us a tour of our newly organized garage. When we asked questions and made suggestions for minor things we felt would help us further, he quickly agreed and got to work without further charge. We HIGHLY recommend Rich for organizing your garage! (It was my idea to write this review.) He will do a fantasist job for you! Thank you, Rich!

We had nothing on our windows so on her first visit she gave us suggestions on window coverings (and colors) that were complementary throughout the house and laid out where to hang art for each room. She also guided us on replacing furniture pieces that were out of scale for our rooms, which made a huge difference in how the space felt. One thing we really appreciated was how she worked with us: she sent Pinterest boards with curated suggestions for rugs, furniture, and accessories, which let us shop and pick out what we loved within her design direction. Whenever I found something on my own, I could send it to her and she'd let me know if it fit the style we were going for. That collaborative approach made the whole process feel personal rather than having someone just dictate a design to us. She was also hands-on when we needed it, helping with installs like placing a rug underneath the primary king sized bed. We couldn't figure out how to hang pictures in the foyer and she sent a drawing to help us with it. And through it all, she was incredibly responsive, always answering my questions quickly and thoroughly. We couldn't be happier with how our home turned out and would highly recommend Brandy and The Missing Piece to anyone looking for a decorator who's knowledgeable, talented, communicative, and genuinely easy to work with.
