Again, this is a 100 years old family business, Cash or business checks only btw. They make yeast and cake donut and have typical shapes you see in other places. All very good, bigger size than average. They also have a crescent donut which looks like an empanada. (See pictures). I usually don't get cake donut because the ones from Tim Horton are gross and dry. But Hinkley do it right . They are tender in the inside and the taste like a muffin.

Of course a cake donut has a different texture than a yeast doughnut And it was soft yet cakey. I thought the chocolate icing was amazing. It was a little sweet, but I loved that about it. There are tables inside and a couple tables outside but as it is 29° I didn't sit outside. I jumped in my car and ate my donut on the way to work. The woman behind the counter said she is one of the owners, but I didn't get her name. I am bad. But she was lovely and just so kind.

Unfortunately they do not have a brick and mortar store so you have to find out where their truck is. We've been driving down the highway when the Petey's truck is spotted and we make an emergency exit to be able to take advantage. It's hard to find a decent bagel, especially in rural areas, but the Asiago was top notch. They don't have a toaster or homemade cream cheese, but if I need something ready to go/eat in the car, I'd probably do the hot stuffed pretzel roll anyway. I wouldn't be shocked if the bagel was just fine without being toasted, either. They don't take Amex, so be ready for that, and if they run out of treats, they'll close early, so plan accordingly.
