Went to lunch today and had Somme Bar B Q at this Northern Georgia spot. The place was clean and we could see the kitchen and all the activities in it from the main dining area. The people who waited on us were super nice and very helpful. I had the ribs and chicken with slaw and beans, friends had the sausage late and ribs like me. The food tasted great and the sauce was good. The drinks were great! The only drawback was the quantity of food for the price. Not a big deal but not a bargain. Still I would go here again because the people were so nice! read more

My last review was pretty vague. I went recently this month for a late lunch/snack. I wasn't super hungry so I split a rib plate with my friend, thinking the $11 was reasonable. The ribs were still as good as I remember, although the entree only came with three ribs. The sauce was on point and the rib meat was nice and tender. However, it was pretty disappointing to only get three ribs of meat. We asked for double portions of the Brunswick stew, which I had assumed would come out in two separate cups of soup. Instead, they had filled the two sections of the to-go box with a small ladle-full. While it was pretty tasty, it wasn't as hearty as other good Brunswick stews I've had. The Texas toast was literally a piece a white bread. That's all I can say. Our server was very friendly and patient with us, but it can't make up for the fact that our food took 1 minute after our order to complete. It was a bit odd. This recent BBQ experience was unfortunately, a bit disappointing. read more

This BBQ place is awesome. Good homestyle food with great southern hospitality. Everything is homemade and delicious. Mac and cheese is great, potato salad is awesome, and the bbq is really good; not to mention the brownie sundae that is amazing!!! Prices are resonance especially for the time that you can tell went into the food. It's like going to Nanas house for dinner after church. My new favorite BBQ place. read more

O. M. G. Went here yesterday, worst food ever. Baby back ribs tasted like they were held in steam table. Absolutely no smoke flavor and we're mushy. Bone slivers through out as well. Got them with no sauce, big mistake. Green beans straight out of the can, no seasoning. Slaw w mayo and pepper, that's it. 26$ for the worst food w small portions...SAVE your $. Loved the baked beans and mustard bbq sauce! The pulled pork was good too and it came out fast.

They have a wonderful breakfast. The western omelette was the best. The gravy was like mom's. Will be back.

I stop by in tonight to have some barbecue. I was not impressed I had a half pound of pork that was probably less than a half pound. It tasted more boiled then smoked and was pretty bland. They only had one sauce (sweet) which they gave a very small portion. I asked for more partway through eating and was given a tablespoon amount for additional sauce. Really? I also tried the Brunswick stew which was okay but it came in a very small container for the price. This is really not up to Jaemor Farms standard. I don't recommend it. read more

We are here a few times last year when visiting Jaemor Farms. The food was nothing special by any means. It all tasted like it was done in an oven rather than a smoker. No smoke flavor at all on the pulled pork or the ribs. Sides were super bland. Brunswick stew was decent, but even the chain restaurant Sonny's has better. No French fries available, just potato chips. The only saving grace was the sauce. It's not the super thick, sweet and sticky sauce I'm used to, but it's got a nice tart-tangy-sweet balance and great flavor. They sell huge bottles of it inside Jaemor. It's very good on chicken and pork chops we grill at home. read more

Tasty BBQ stand at Jaemor Farms. My family has been going to this farm for years to get really great fresh produce. Thanks to my buddy I heard about this new addition. Really good pulled pork. Definitely not cutting corners here--slow smoked the right way. The sauce was also nice. This BBQ restaurant was spotless ! Very Clean and Friendly and the BBQ sandwiches (chicken and pork)were very good ! The slaw, potato salad , baked beans and Brunswick Stew is very good , too ! We stopped for lunch on July 3rd and just had been to Jaemor Farmer's Market and we found out that the owner of the restaurant had been located at the farmer's market several years ago ! It was good to find such a good local restaurant that was still hanging in there despite the Covid Virus ! read more

I have eaten at Sweet House BBQ twice and was very pleased with both meals. This past weekend, they prepared baked beans, macaroni and cheese and pulled pork for a group of 22 people. We received raved reviews about the food and the the amounts were just perfect. I would highly recommend this location and if you need a meal for a big group, they can do it for you. read more

I went here for lunch and found the food lacking. I ordered the BBQ sandwich and was surprised to get pellet-sized meat piled on a bun. The meat had no flavor, the bun was small, white and insipid, and the stew was less-than-glorious. That's a shame. I really wanted this place to be better. Cornelia deserves a really good BBQ restaurant. I hope to go back and see if they have upped their game. Until or unless they do, don't waste your time. read more

We had the pulled pork and chicken sandwiches with slaw on the sandwich. First bad sign was that the sandwiches were premade, they handed us cold packets wrapped in foil. Once we sat down and unwrapped them the sandwich was small and cold. The meat was chopped, did not look pulled. The sauce tasted like ketchup. The slaw was super cold like if it had just been pulled out of a freezer. They should be ashamed to be serving this but they probably don't care because there's a steady stream of drivers pulling up. read more

Drive around the state a lot for my job, and I always try to look out for undiscovered BBQ spots. Like any good Georgian ought to know, there is usually a direct inverse relationship between the size of the place and the quality of the food. Ms. LuAnn (sp?) doesn't disappoint. Her little shack at Jaemor is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, but it's definitely worth stopping by. Grabbed a pork plate w/ potato salad. Ordered bbq pork plate, the meat was not good, sauce helped a little. The cole slaw and beans were editable and then it was all served up with a piece of white loaf bread, no toast, no butter. I never went back. read more

I understand that a bbq stand should not be 5 stars by any means. That being said completely avoid the sausage sandwich, it's an uncooked johnsonville smoked sausage from a crock pot with bbq sauce in it, also served on soggy bread. The pork isn't terrible. Your best bet is to drive a mile north and eat at mickey pigs if they are open. read more

They smoke meat with applewood from the farm and it has such a wonderful flavor. My family and I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches and the baby back ribs. The potato salad and baked beans were fresh and delicious. It was a pleasure sitting on the covered deck overlooking the farm while eating. Would recommend to anyone!!!!! read more
