Ate there 2-15-2026. Ordered ribeye med rare. I'm 75 and it was the worst I've ever had. It was badly seared on both sides, as though it had been pressed with a flat iron like a burger. It had lots of gristle and fat, was very thin and dry, and poorly seasoned. Definitely a waste of money. I will never order a steak from Longhorns again. Oct. 24 at 7 pm, rush time plus, was perfect in every aspect. Our waiter, Juan Zavala, was lightning fast to welcome our traveling guests from Texas to a spotless table with a smile and friendly vibe. Never mind that every table under the Texas decor was packed, with a long line out the doors, Juan (and the efficient kitchen staff back in the prep area) delivered a hot, perfectly prepared meal: steaks cooked exactly as requested, four soups bubbly-hot, warm buttery bread non-stop and refilled drinks the second they emptied to tge 1/2 way mark. When Manager James stopped by to check in on us, he had broom and dust pan in hand making sure the table beside us was spotless even whisking that napkin and bread crumbs back in the corner nearly invisible, but sitting there none-the-less. Another great night at what a regional manager would describe as a model Longhorn for the folks upstairs. Longhorn at Toco Hills in Decatur told us our wait was 20 to 30 minutes. After waiting an hour they said there were 4 more couples ahead of us. 30 minutes later we inquired again. I lost my husband last year, he loved this place. Today I finally got the nerve to go in I got my food to go i was dying inside. I asked for medium rare should have asked for rare I was a wreck they didn't know anything about all that but when I started to eat in my car it looked too done I took it back in they were very nice about it and remade it no problem. This is the first time I've been to a longhorn steakhouse since I've moved to Georgia. I was quite surprised of how good they were, despite hearing rumors that they weren't that great. I thought the drinks were very good, the service was excellent and the restaurant itself was quite clean (with Covid standards in practice.) We sat at the bar and our waiter/bartender was very professional and very attentive, he also wore his mask at all times. The French onion soup was very, very good, but I've never been disappointed with Longhorn steakhouse's French onion soup. The only thing I could say could've been better would be the strawberry pecan grilled chicken salad. The chicken was a little on the dry side and there was no salad dressing, So I had to ask for more (very minor disappointment, but still a 4 star!! The complementary bread was very good and fresh!! Warm and straight out of the oven, so that is a big plus!! I recommend this location it is quite delicious we will be back!!! read more

Yes I got utensils but no salt and pepper. The baked potato I do believe was baked the day before - dry with a skin so tough I could not cut it with a knife. I came on a Sunday afternoon at 12:30, and they weren't that busy. We got a great waitress, who quickly got our order and brought our drinks. She did her best to be efficient, but their was only one cook. It took our entrees 70 minutes to come out. We got a Wild West shrimp appetizer which was amazing, and came out very fast. For my meal I got the chicken tender platter with sweet potato and honey butter brussel sprouts. The food was all good but the brussel sprouts were especially delicious and unique. Lunch: The good- The food tastes good and it's reasonably priced. The Bad-Walked in at lunch time and no one was there to seat me. Tried to get several employees attention to no avail. Finally after 5 minutes of waiting to be seated another customer walked in and was just as frustrated. Mentioned that they walked out the other day after waiting 10 minutes to place an order. Anyway, I sat at the bar and ordered lunch and listened to the people in the kitchen drop F-bombs at each other. The entire time I was there not one person walked in the door and was seated in the dining area. Can't blame the pandemic, because I ate here a lot last year and service was great. LONGHORN 5346 - Friday, June 25: Eleven hungry ladies for dinner after more than 2-hours of travel time! The wait was loooonng, an hour and fifteen minutes! Trust me people, it was worth it... The place was packed with patrons both inside and outside waiting to be seated. It was my first time ever at a LongHorn. At a point I had to go inside to talk with a Hostess. That's when I met Carlos Gonzalez - a pleasant well mannered young man with a great sense of humor :) I said to Carlos: "with a wait like this, the food better be good." Carlos raved about every item on the Menu so confidently that he would not recommend any particular choice. He is confident that our party of eleven will be happy with whatever we ordered to eat! Boy, was he right! My palette, my brain, and my stomach were in sync symphony!!! Everything ordered at the table was DELISH!!! Cooked to tasteful perfection which was worth the wait... Draft beer was flat but quickly replaced with a bottle. Three orders of surf and turf were given high marks as was the salmon and the salad. The sirloin was like tasty chew-toy; lesson learned. Sides were fine but "loaded" baked potato was overcooked, dry, and short on condiments. The leader of the party regretted not goung with his usual, the Outlaw ribeye. This Longhorn's is just another Longhorn's, which considering I love Lornghorn's, that is a good thing. I am new to town here, less than 2 weeks and have been there for at least 6 times. This one has the usual kind and friendly and extraordinary service. The personality of them is a big plus and all has been well. Shopping at the Lowe's next door, so we stopped at Longhorn's for a leisurely meal. Our server, Megan, approached with fresh hot bread and butter as soon as we were seated. I ordered a New York strip and Mark the Flo's filet. Our salads we're chilled and so fresh. The sweet potatoes were cooked perfectly and my steak was PERFECTION!! So juicy and seasoned just right.
