I don't know what has happened to this HH but it used to be a great place to eat. Great service, good food and the place was kept very clean. Now it is very dirty, the food quality has gone down hill. They are regularly out of certain foods. I joined the rewards program last year. I got to use it once. Every since then the rewards system is "down" so I gave up trying. They even took the general managers name off the door. Too bad I used to love going there. read more

I enjoy coming to the Huddle House, however it was freezing in the restaurant this morning. I mentioned it to the server and she said something was wrong with the heating. It wasn't working well. Everybody was asking about it. I hope management jumps on this and gets it fixed. It was very uncomfortable especially when someone opened the door!! read more

We had a after Christmas, early morning breakfast at this huddle house that's about 15mins away from our Apple Mountain resort. I ordered a MVP breakfast, my wife ordered a waffle and bacon with eggs, my daughter ordered strawberry pancakes with sausage and eggs. I have eaten a lot of food all across this state but this restaurant they cook with nothing but love because the food tasted so amazing. I could sit and type out every flavor I tasted or I could just say "if your in the area just stop in and see for yourself". read more

A quick bite after major grocery shopping. We we're greeted right away and our drink orders taken. Within minutes out beverages appeared and our order taken. TJ was on top of it. Mark had breakfast and I the Patty melt. Both were cooked exactly as we asked and drinks were refilled quickly. The fact we had coupons just made the meal sweeter. read more

The place it's self is really nice. You drive by and might be fooled by the small outside, but the people here make up for it. And let me tell you, nothing tops their hot cocoa on a cold winter day. A GREAT TEAM APPROACH TO SERVING CUSTOMERS! If you had asked me if I would ever eat at a Huddle House again, I would respond with a resounding NO!!!! I attempted to eat breakfast at a different location approximately 10 years ago and it was a big greasy mess and I never even thought about a return. Also, Huddle House restaurants are rarely seen in the area in which I live. Today as I traveled to northern Georgia, the only breakfast restaurant that would pop up in Yelp is Huddle House. We attempted to find a local, family owned option but there were no options in this small town. We were okay with trying this Huddle House because I had thoroughly read the positive reviews and felt fine with this choice. We walked in to a warm and casual environment. It reminded me of a Waffle House but more spacious and real cheese. I ordered the veggie omelet, while my husband ordered the western omelet. Here the omelets are proper omelets, light and fluffy. perfectly yellow, (no brown anywhere) presented with a your choice of grits or hash browns and toast. We chose the hash browns and were satisfied with both of our meals, (although my original browns were not as crispy as I like, they were quickly exchanged to my satisfaction). This was a breakfast that actually stayed with us for five hours. I love a substantial breakfast on the weekends because I am usually very busy running around and can't always stop to eat on schedule. Customer service was great today because the entire staff "showed up". The entire team attended to all customers, offering assistance, refills, and whatever was needed. This is a great way of meeting the needs of the customers because you don't have to wait for service and you don't have to try and "hunt down" your particular waiter or waitress. This was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this Huddle House for a great breakfast. read more

Just had a wonderful breakfast experience here this morning. I went to place a breakfast order for pick up and the waitresses were so prompt and courteous. It only took 10 minutes and even though they originally messed up my order (it was a new waitress) they were quick to fix it and were nice about it. The chicken fried steak was delicious and perfect. When I place my order they asked me if I would like hash browns or grits with my armor. I told him no it was just an omelet, but they still charge me $9 for a small omelette. In my opinion that's just bad business, if I knew that was going to happen I would have just gotten the hash browns out of principle. So for future reference if they ask you what you want for your side you're better off getting something at least instead of being robbed at the cash register. read more

It's very rare these days to walk into a chain restaurant and get such good customer service that you'd swear you were at a mom 'n pop joint. That's the kind of service you get here. I'm only in Clarksville every great once in a while for work, but when I am I love to stop at this huddle house. Great customer service and the staff is so warm, friendly, and inviting. the manager is rude and the staff is shorthanded while the manger named Austin doesn't assist the servers to get peoples food faster. and the wait for our food was over an hour long the place was swarming with flies and i noticed food and trash had been swept under the tables and not to mention how nasty the ladies bathroom was. no toilet paper and trash in the floor. to be a wide restaurant and suppose to be a good clean one this place is disgusting!!! the tables had dried food on the, and i will not stop in here again from my trip to helen. also i had dried food on my cup of coffee and had to asked for a clean cup while waiting.as well as hair on my table.this place sucks read more

The Huddle House restaurant in Clarkesville GA was very busy the Sunday morning I arrived, at 11AM so I sat at the counter. The staff were friendly, there seemed to be a lot of them (two cooks, about 4 waitresses) and the food was very good (I had the Western Omlette with a side of bacon) but the service was slow, and the restaurant interior was very dirty. Piles of used dishes were stacked on the counter near me, which was unappetizing. The counter was dirty, and the floor was very dirty, with bits of spilled food and drink making the floor sticky. The air vents in the ceiling looked caked with greasy dirt as well. So, please ask the manager of this restaurant to do a thorough, top-to-bottom scouring of this facility and keep the air vents and air intake openings, the tables, the counter and floor cleaned much more often. I'd like to eat here more often but the lack of cleanliness is an issue. read more

I went for breakfast. The parking lot was full, so I had concerns about wait time and quality of service. They had some at the door open it and greet me. I was seated and served immediately, even with a packed house. I ordered from the specials menu and got the hash brown omlet. The pictures on the menu does not represent the mountain of food you actually get. It was fresh, delicious, and well-priced. The staff was friendly and effcient. This place seems to be on the ball. From the moment my party of six walked in the restaurant the wait staff treated us like honored guess. Not just our waitress but every worker there cheerfully acknowledged us. Restaurant is nice and clean. Food was excellent and plentiful and moderately priced. We were served for the entire stay. This HH is managed with pride which shows in the wait staff. We came in about 15 minutes before close. i wasn't expecting them to make us food, but they did! I guess that's part of southern hospitality thing. I ordered a BBQ burger with bacon and sweet potato fries. It was delicious. The burger was filling, and actually became my lunch the following day. For fast food, the service was a little slow. I feel like we waited 10 minutes after we placed our order for the staff to complete our food. There was one other person in the restaurant who was already eating . Food was great, staff good, but the music was very offensive and loud. When I asked if it could be turned down the manager ignored me and acted like I wasn't even there. So no I will not recommend it place to any friends because of poor management. read more

Great breakfast, usually good to excellent depending on the cook on duty. People are friendly and service is good. Only thing that is a negative is that they charge everyone for toast, even when it's clearly supposed to be included in the meal. It's kind of sneaky and, while it's only 45 cents, it's still rather dishonest. read more

I have ate at this huddle house many times. Each time the waitresses have been very prompt and polite. Each visit the food has passed my expectations. I recommend everyone to stop by and give this restaurant a try! read more
