My mother and I went on a Friday night around 7, and they weren't that busy. That made us a little nervous, but we decided to stay and try it out. We were brought a basket of these odd little wheel-shaped things with a cup of nacho cheese. I tried one. "What are those?" my mother asked. "Styrofoam peanuts," I replied, eating another one. The menu rivals that of The Cheesecake Factory with its options. They have burgers, steaks, pasta, Mexican, and Chinese dishes, among other things. Our server suggested a few of her favorites to us, so we went with the fried mushroom appetizer, steak + salmon for me, and chicken piccata for my mom. The fried mushrooms were different from a lot I've had. The batter was closer to tempura, but it had a nice crunch. Lots of variety of mushroom sizes. My steak was DELICIOUS. It was cooked in a teriyaki-esque sauce and served in little medallions. The grilled salmon in the lemon cream sauce was also excellent, as were the mashed potatoes and asparagus that my plate came with. My mother didn't like her plate as much; the chicken was super rubbery and under seasoned, and it just didn't look appetizing. She didn't eat much of it. This was overall a positive experience, so I'm eager to go back and try something else on the expansive menu. read more

If I could give half stars, Fresco's would land closer to 4. However, I agree with some of the other reviews implying this place is in dire need of a face lift. This is a great space and ownership could do A LOT to make simple improvements in the overall vibe/atmosphere. Our server was very nice and attentive enough. We were in and out on Friday night for dinner within 35 mins. Our food came out so fast (which I'm not complaining about) that I cannot imagine it was that fresh. We had an appetizer (buffalo chicken eggrolls) that were tasty. I asked the waitress for help choosing my pasta entree and went with the Cajun Alfredo. It was a simple as penne, a jar of sauce and what I was told was andouille sausage but appeared to be a thinly sliced regular hot dog. It was a large portion and worth the price but I do wish there was more flavor and effort put into it. My fiancé had the Pork Chop dinner which was also a hearty portion and he said was "pretty good". read more

Decided to try today as we haven't been here. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter arrived timely and got our drinks. They were out of drinking glasses, so we served with styrofoam to-go cups. We ordered the popcorn shrimp for a starter, the Ruben sandwich, and Crispy Buffalo Sandwich. It took around 45 minutes for our meals to come out. The rueben sandwich personally lacked any flavor and all we could taste was mustard. The chicken sandwich was mediocre, breast was tremendously bigger than the bun, and only had a small patch of buffalo sauce in the middle of the sandwich. Fries seemed overcooked, or cooked but in old oil that needs to be changed. Service was great and we enjoyed our waiter. The food to us was not the best. We will likely return in the future and try other options on the menu that we may enjoy more or have a better experience with. read more

Hmmm, I rarely say this but RUN, Run as fast as you can away from this place. I dont know what that odd chip and dip was they served to every table, but it really was nasty. WE all tried it and all four agreed, YUCK. I ordered the two hotdogs with chili, mustard, onions and slaw. It came with fries. It was sort of funny, because the waitress looked at me as though I were from mars. I asked her what the issue was and she said she had never heard of slaw on a hot dog. lol When It arrived everything was cold and there was no mustard, onions or fries. The chili was cold and bun was stale. The other three ordered hamburgers with mayo, mustard and tomato. All three came with undercooked fries. Come on owners....Train your staff. I don't know what everyone is complaining about. We've been there twice. Great food, great service, and affordable. We are a family of 5 and our Burger King bill was very close to this bill. This food is great though, and you actually can have it your way. There are several meals between $10-14. Food arrived quickly. And the "chips" are like a puffy chip with a cheese sauce, but it's free so you don't have to eat them. My entire family would definitely recommend. read more

I had high hopes for this restaurant. We were quickly greeted and seated by very friendly hostess. Almost immediately we were served fried noodles with cheese sauce as a complimentary appetizer. They look a little like styrofoam and have the crunch and texture of a pork rind. They are unique and with the cheese sauce not too bad. Ordered Fresco Chicken and the Chef's Steak. The chicken was lightly fried and well cooked. It was served with lemon sauce that was almost undetectable and asparagus that was refrigerator cold. The Chef's Steak was not at all tender and tasted like it had been pre-cooked and reheated in the sautéed mushrooms and onions. Mashed potatoes were the best part of the dish. I wish I could think we just picked the wrong dish but we overheard others making similar remarks with completely different dishes. Not sure I would recommend this for a second chance. read more

Came on a Sunday for lunch and it was fairly busy. They gave us some complimentary baskets of chips and cheese dip as soon as we were seated, and are waitress was quick to serve us. I hate complaining at any restaurant and know it's hard to run a small business or restaurant but our experience here was beyond horrible. The food was average other than my fiancé's burger being burnt. My steak was good and brother and sister in law said their chicken plates were good. The tea was rancid. I discovered a short black curly hair when I was almost done eating my broccoli. Not to make a scene and understanding that it occasionally happens I set it on my napkin and stopped eating that part. I then ate some of the rice and found yet another short black curly hair. At this point my sister in law told the waitress and she took the plate away. She came back and said the manager would give us half off that dish. We were pretty offended by that but then the manager said "no one has hair like that in our kitchen. Those aren't our hairs". There were TWO men with short black beards IN SIGHT! Absolutely no beard nets or hairnets on the cooks we saw walk out. The manger himself being one of them. We saw one cook running his fingers through his beard and counting money at the bar. I can honestly say I've never had a server say or do anything close to this before and we were just in shock. The bill came back with $68 worth of food with $3.60 off. I told him he said half and suggested that dish should have been comped and he ended up only giving us half off. We will NEVER come back to this place again and sincerely hope the health department makes a careful visit. Food was very good as usual. Staff was friendly and attentive. Pricing is right on point. There are things that can really elevate this to a great restaurant. A little work on the decor, especially in the back sections. The food selection is great and I've rarely been even slightly disappointed. However, making a few changes would go a long way. Better options on sides, such as not getting fries on most plates would help. Including a side salad to meals and choice of dressing would be awesome. read more

The front is really cute, but we sat in a back room and it reminded us a little of a bowling alley. When they gave us fried pasta with nacho cheese, I was not convinced this place would be very good. Then the bacon cheese fries came and I was much more hopeful. They were delish! Different sauce than they give you at first and the fries were super crispy! Our waitress was very kind and helped us find some gluten free options. The meal was to die for! I seriously wanted to lick my plate, except I couldn't finish it because the portions are very large, especially for the price. All in all, great experience, would recommend, and we will certainly be back! My family and I a party of 7 walked in and was sat within a few seconds, not much of a ambience but we said we would try it... they brought out a free appetizer that they said were made from fried pasta like pasta wheels or something with cheese sauce, then we ordered cocktails I had the house margarita it was good minus the table salt around the rim of the glass which was way too much but the girl said they just ran out of the other kind of salt ... so then we ordered our entrée's I ordered the Louisiana pasta my husband ordered the The jambalaya it was divine that's the best pasta I've had in a long time and my husband loved the jambalaya everybody loved their food so we will definitely be returning customers! read more

My first day I had grilled chicken, which is an off menu accommodation as I did not want my chicken fried. This suggestion was offered to me by my awesome waitress Jenny who served us both days. The chicken was cut thin with 3 distinct well-seasoned pieces. The sides were asparagus and red potatoes. The potatoes were tasty and plentiful, but the asparagus albeit good were rather sparse on my plate. The second day I ordered the fajitas, which were also plentiful. The price point is also fair. Burger itself was good however it has some type of horrible Worcester sauce on it with chopped mushrooms. Ruined the burger. Fried were cold, over cook , and so greesy. Saturday dinner ~6pm easy greeting & seating (Santa Claus was just leaving as we entered!) -- we got a booth near the door in less than a minute. We ordered the shrimp scampi & chicken piccata (+ a kid's grilled cheese). The entrees were delicious, portions far too generous -- and served fresh and FAST! Prices quite reasonable. I was quite satisfied when I went there for lunch today. I was there about a year ago, and it was a buffet that did not impress me in the least. I came back to here to give it a try because a couple people argued with me that it is is not a buffet. As I said, I went today and sure enough, buffet was gone. YAY! They now have a menu with a good variety of types of food. I had their salmon with lemon butter and it was quite good. As far as the service, it was OK. She kept up with checking in and refilling drinks (considering there was only 3 others in there, I certainly would expect that), she just wasn't the most cheerful. I asked her if they were a buffet at one time, and she said they were, but it was not successful so they went back to a normal restaurant as it is today.
