The service was also wonderful, they were very helpful about explaining the menu and offering suggestions. In addition, their coffee drinks make other baristas at "stary shop bucks" embarrassed by comparison because Yonah's are so creative and icily delightful. A toothsome treat to be certain! Quite a variety of yummy concoctions therein. All Yonah egg dishes rock, as does the turkey Club Sandwich. I'm particularly fond of all the varieties of Eggs Benedict- especially those with spinach or avocado. This place stars Tasty pancakes, French Toast tastes great too. Homemade buttermilk biscuits just can't be beat. We highly recommend this brunch bistro and barista's bar. All the servers are young, attractive, and exuberant. Thumbs up! Nice quiet atmosphere too. Children friendly .

If that didn't sound appealing, Hayesville is in itself the weird back corner of the Appalachian mountains, so don't be too hard on them. My Fiancé and I popped in to get some work done on vacation, and wound up spending most of the time befriending the wonderful barista behind the counter, who gave us drip coffee refills and free donuts from yesterday ("Yesterday's treasures"). I haven't Yelp reviewed in a second, but the Fiancé insisted I support this business. Better Together is in good hands with a 4.9, but I'll happily bump them up even further.

Great spot to get away from the hoopla of the main strip in Helen, GA but still be somewhat close…read more It's about an 8-minute drive to this cute coffee house from Helen. It seems to be a local favorite because it was pretty busy when we arrived. We got the last spot in the parking lot. The lot is not paved (dirt and mulch); however, if you have a Tesla they have two charging units in the lot. Staff are very friendly and inviting and they do a good job of cleaning and maintaining the coffee station and customer seating areas. Prices are competitive to other businesses in the area, although the coffee is a bit expensive in my opinion, but it is delicious. I ordered an Americano and it was one probably the best one we had on our whole trip. Nancy and I both ordered coffee's, the Americano was $5.75 and her Coffee of the Day was $4.00. For our breakfast we decided on the Bacon Quiche $7.50 and the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit $6.95 to share. The Quiche was on point; it was much better than the Biscuit Sandwich. Don't get me wrong both items tasted yummy it's just the biscuit was quite dry. Nancy had to ask for Jelly to spruce it up. They didn't charge extra for the jelly and after adding the jelly the sandwich was actually the bomb; something for the menu development team to ponder. There is not a lot of seating here but it seems most customers are in and out quick except for a few that are working on laptops and whatnot. All-in-all, a great spot for a quick breakfast or brunch and fresh ground and deliciously brewed coffee. I recommend them if you are in the area.

Hendershot's Coffee is a unique place. What makes it unique?…read more * In addition to serving coffee along with some food items, it's full bar and has all of your booze groups covered. * It hosts live music, and not just a guy or gal playing an acoustic guitar. We want for a comedy show that was great. One of the nice things about Hendershot's is in my limited experience the shows start at 7:00 p.m., which means it's totally doable on a "school night." My suspicion is it is townie's place. When we went, I did not see any UGA kids. In other words, it's a place for grown ups for the most part. Pro-tip: Get there early for an evening show. Parking can be a challenge with three great restaurants more or less adjacent, and the best seats for shows fill up fast. Cheers!
