Winter coffee menu

What a lovely place to spend some time! This place has some good coffee, even better mead. Our baristas were so sweet and the man behind the mead counter gave great recommendations and service! We went around noon on a Tuesday so it was very quiet and only had a few people, but I can tell how lovely it would be when they have live music. This is a dog friendly place- although service pets only inside the cafe- but they have warm outdoor seating and a dog park too. We had a chance for our dog to play with the owners dog and enjoyed chatting while they played. We will be planning a summer trip back!

Back view

The breakfast burrito tasted like it was a week old and heated from the freezer. The chicken salad croissant was also old and premade. The coffee was weak and when i asked for it plain you could only get it premixed. For a coffee place i was very disappointed. The view was nice. They were supposed to turn on the patio fans and never did. I think they are banking on TikTok reels to get people on versus good quality food or coffee. I would not go back.

Wow this place is good! I loved the old time vibe and feel of the building and store. The customer service was great and helpful. I ordered an iced brew made half sweet. She nailed it! Smooth and not acidic tasting at all. She also gave us a sample of some really good candied almonds that taste liked a heath bar. Highly recommended. The price is a little high but that seems normal for the area. Be careful pulling out of the parking lot because oncoming traffic is fast.

What a cute place Need a little more love on the coffee no just because is a coffee shop if not because the coffee are on thermos and temperature and flavor no good Need at least a small espresso machine to bring more clients and recommendations for the store I'm a particularly coffee love it and I can tell you I tried 2 different kind and no no on flavor or temperature Sorry but work a little on that because the store and the place have a potential ‍

Iced Glamping

Out of the three coffee shops I tried on my Helen Trip this was my favorite! I am more of an iced coffee girl than a latte girl so this was the perfect place for me! When we walked in the cashier was immediately greeting and helping us choose what we might like the best along with her recommendations. I tried the glamping and loved it! The outdoor area was very quaint next to the running river and browsing the shelves with local coffee beans was neat too!

Good coffee and quiche! Plenty of seating, five dollar purchase required to use the wifi. Parking is free. One of the best views at a coffee shop I've ever seen.

Great view!

Ambience was fantastic. The view and live music were on point! The coffee and food were okay, but nothing I'd go out of my way for again. My husband got an iced americano that he thought was pretty good, and I got a sweet cream cold brew that was kind of sickly sweet. We also got a blondie that was okay and an açaí bowl that was pretty good, but definitely not worth almost $12. Overall, I paid over $30 for two coffees, a sparkling water, and two food items that required little to no preparation. The service was pretty awful. My husband's coffee was ready almost immediately. After several minutes of waiting, we realized there was an iced coffee sitting on the counter that ended up being mine. Then, as more minutes passed we continued to wait on the açaí bowl. I saw another customer who ordered after us get a warmed up muffin, so I started to wait by the counter. After about 15 minutes, I was able to get the attention of one of the girls making coffee and told her I was still waiting on an açaí bowl. She asked me if I had already ordered it, and I said I had. While she went to start preparing the bowl, the other girl who had been serving coffee began to speak to the cashier in hushed tones. Then, she too came over and asked if I had paid for the bowl. I said I had, and then she asked what else I had ordered, and I pointed to the other items at the table with my husband. Then, she had to ask the cashier if I had paid. I guess it was a good thing she remembered, since we had never been provided a receipt. Usually I go out of my way to support small businesses, but in this case I would only recommend going here if you want your order forgotten about while you are low key accused of trying to steal food.

Whenever I'm in the area, I will always stop in. No matter the weather, the silence and beauty are worth the trip. I've tried their wine and coffee, equally good. On the weekends they music on the patio. Service can be a bit slow, remember you are in the mountains not the city. Love this slice of heaven

Quaint coffee roaster in a 'vintage' building. They day we stopped they were sampling the pecan coffee. I purchased a bag. It is a truly delightful coffee, roasted to perfection with just enough pecan flavoring to add depth.

The place smelled like great roasted beans. Service was great and gave great suggestions The coffee was excellent. The pastries delicious, the chai was the best chai I have had. You must try! The view of Mt Yonah was stunning, the setup of the place was cool, and the ambiance of their inside/outside area was nice. My two complaints are that it got pretty cold in their glass windowed area- they had a small heater but it wasn't doing much, and they don't give free cups of water here. I'd recommend adding larger heaters and getting a couple of them, considering how cold it can get in North GA in the winter. I'd also recommend giving free water instead of requiring that people buy bottled water. If you were in the Atlanta area, not offering free water would be a code violation. Not sure if that applies here but just to be courteous to your customers you should be doing that. Back to the positives... I ordered a coffee based frappe with the "glamping" flavor (white chocolate and marshmallow) and I thought it was amazing. 10/10. I would definitely order it again. My order came out in a decent amount of time and the employees were friendly. The prices were reasonable and we found parking easily. I would happily come here again! I think there could be a couple improvements (the water issue is why I deducted a star) but if they address those few things then I'd think the place is a 5/5 :) I would come back! (And bring my water bottle with me lol)
