We've been driving past Stew N Que for years but never at a time they are open. They are early morning to 2pm. We were picking up my truck from the Ram dealer around lunchtime so said "hey let's go get some BBQ, it's right down the road". The exterior has a modern and tidy barn door look and there is plenty of parking. We walked in and it was nice and cool (great on a summer day) and looked to the left to see the cafeteria line. Hey this looks odd for a BBQ restaurant buts lets check it out. Then we see in the line that there neither stew nor que, it's southern meat and two. OK, well we are here let's give it a go. I had chicken tenders which looked hand breaded. They had good texture but could use some spices. The mashed potatoes were hood with some good gravy. The lima beans were too salty to eat. Megan liked her chicken fried steak. I am not sure it was breaded house. She also had the mashed potatoes. Megan liked the green beans. The corn bread was kinda dry and crumbly with no sweetness. I think some people like it this way. The biscuit was good. I am not a super fan of the meat and three so this was just OK. I would likely stop here for a breakfast biscuit if I am in the area in the morning. read more

Beautiful lil home cooked food. The ladies and service is beautiful as well as the atmosphere. Makes you feel like you are back at mamas. The only downside is the price. Mama cooking doesn't cost a kidney or leg. Given im a college student I kinda am still learning how to manage money. Still though, best damn home cooking I ever had! read more

Real down home cooking. Meatloaf is our fav. Breakfast biscuits are huge, as is the slaw burger - gets xtra napkins, messy but good.

This is my favorite spot to stop at for breakfast. The staff is very friendly. Just hate the road it on due to the speed trap camera.

Well worth the detour! Stew-N-Que is the best breakfast spot in North Ga in my opinion. I pass by Baldwin everyday on my way to Cornelia everyday for work. Not long after I started work in Cornelia I discovered this little gem and have had breakfast there about every day. The biscuits are huge! They are a perfect balance of buttery crust and not to dense inside. They have a cornucopia of options, chicken, bacon, sausages, ham, steak, tenderloin, egg, etc. you can literally eat a different biscuit everyday for a couple of weeks and not have the same thing. They give you a generous portion. You can also get a breakfast plate which is morn than a meal and requires a nap afterwards lol. They also do lunch, your typical meat and three. They have delicious slices of pie and cakes to satisfy the sweet tooth. Everything that I've eaten there has been very good and plentiful. The staff is always friendly. Whether your there by yourself or with a group the service is always quick and good. Given the amount of people that are there sometimes it doesn't get too loud so you can enjoy a great meal and conversation with your friends. read more

As a "meat and three" - Good. As a BBQ restaurant - NOT. I expected pulled pork, ribs, brisket, etc...what I got was something out of a tub at Kroger. Again, the items on their cafeteria line looked good, but the "pulled pork" plate I got for close to $14.00 with WAY too sweet tea was false advertising. To name yourself "Stew and Que" implies BBQ...pit smoked, fresh and local. This was one of the above. read more

Cute little restaurant, I am working close by and there is not much around. It is a cafeteria style, you tell the person what you want as entrée ( 3 choices ) and select the sides you want. It is southern food, a lot of fried food but everything looks very fresh. I got the fried fish with beans and rice, great portion and reasonable price. ( 11$ for 2 person ) the place is pretty busy on lunch with mostly to go order. I ll come back to try their breakfast, they open @ 5am ! read more

Really good food for not a lot of money. Friendly staff. It's a small town restaurant/cafeteria. They have a couple or three meat choices & lots of sides to choose from. Good dessert choices. The only real reason I didn't give it five stars is they don't do fountain drinks. If your in the area I recommend it highly. read more

Good country food and a good price!! Food is country style and it is very fresh. Had the turkey, gravy, collards, and green beans. Place was referred by word of mouth and it did not disappoint. Lunch was less than $10. Buffet style, but noticed people ordering things to go. Will be back. read more

My husband and I showed up for breakfast after hearing good things about it. They weren't lying! In comparison to some well-known breakfast buffets in the area, it's better than most! I got the special #2 and it was a heaping big breakfast! They didn't skimp on the cheese in the grits! It was loaded and delicious, the eggs fresh and fluffy and the country ham was high quality! My husband said his bacon was glorious and home fries abundant! To top it all off, we somehow managed to eat one of their biscuits. I was only going to take a bite, but ended up eating the entire thing!! What I couldn't finish barely fit in the take out box. Need I say more? read more

When you walk in you see a cafeteria style serving line, they have anything you would want for breakfast... breakfast meats, eggs, grits, gravy, etc. Tell them what you want and they build your plate. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. read more

they serve a buffet line big breakfast here. eggs any way you like or precooked scrambled. bacon sausage or ham for side meat, grits n gravy, biscuits or toast and hash browns. stand up hot coffee all at very reasonable prices. lunch and supper are big deals too. you can get a small plate with one meat or a large plate with two pork chops. fried pork chops are lighter than they look an well seasoned. fried chicken, steak n gravy, fish or meatloaf are all worthy of praise. veggies are seasoned well but rather pedestrian. fried okra is light and particularly good. you are in and out quickly here. good country cooking in an older restaurant that still hold up well. service is agreeable and friendly what little there is of it. it's basically if you want it you get it, but they will come by and refill your tea glass with a darling. a honey or the every popular sugah. you get my drift read more

Absolutely THE best breakfast in Baldwin/ Cornelia area. Biscuits can't be beat !! One $3 Chicken Biscuit and you'll swear off those fast food places for ever !! For lunch I always get the 4 vegetable plate with the jalapeno cornbread for $4.95. Vegetables are fresh and not over-cooked. Servings are generous. Free drink refills, dining area and restrooms are always spotless and well-lit. Real food at realistic prices. read more
