The good: Food is good but getting a little pricey. I appreciate that they are probably the only Subway with a drive-thru, which is convenient. To order in the drive-thru, it's a touchscreen. In a normal world this is great, but a bit worrisome during the Covid pandemic. I don't want to touch anything! (This didn't affect my rating) I prefer their subs over the other local sandwich shop. Service is always quick and employees are friendly and inviting. The bad: Again, the food is pricier than it used to be. For me and my husband it's usually close to $30 for two foot long sub, chips and drinks. We don't add anything extra except for cheese. The bread isn't always fresh. The last two times I went it was hard and brittle. (Untoasted) Crumbled everytime I picked it up. We didn't want to wait for fresher bread so we ate anyway since we were in a hurry. The ugly: The drive-thru ordering touchscreen was broke the last time my husband and I ate here so we ate inside. The inside of the restaurant is a pig sty. It was filthy the last four times I ate there in the last few months. I have never seen them wipe the tables and chairs between customers so I try not to touch anything. There were cigarette packs on the bar belonging to the employees. I don't care if you're a smoker but I don't wanna see your Camel's sitting right by the sandwich meats. Food and trash/napkins/paper wraps are usually on the floor everywhere, even half loafs of bread. Behind the counter and in the dining room. Some of the food bins are not the cleanest and the drink station is always covered in a thick stickiness. The counter by the drink station is always covered in standing water. Only had two types of bread and stated they were out of chicken. Only to say later on it was thawing out. Would only put the sauce on the bread directly. The veggies looked rotten and as if they had been out for days. Said they couldn't do it any other way. They weren't apologetic or kind at all. I would NOT recommend anyone going there. Something fishy is going on at this store. I pulled into the parking lot and one of the workers comes out and tells me I cannot come in and have to go through the drive through. I went to the drive through, placed my order. The pick up window was clear so I drove up and waited, and waited and waited. I watched the other worker make my sandwich and the window attendant never came to the window. She never made eye contact in the 10 minutes I sat waiting for my sandwich. Then she leaves the service area and goes out into the dining room and doesn't come back. The other worker just kept making sandwiches. At this point I left. This is absolutely a horrific place to even try and get food. Firstly, the staff were walking through the prep area eating. Secondly, one of the employees opened the door with her gloved hands and then touched many knobs and filthy things before grabbing handfuls of vegetables without changing her gloves. Thirdly, her hair was so long and outside of a hairnet and it was literally almost laying on the counter. I couldn't believe it. Then afterwards, she proceeded to tell me they didn't have a lid for my salad bowl so perhaps I don't want anything. Order our dinner at 2pm online. Stated I will be there 530pm. And when I got there 5:35pm. The food was NOT ready. Had to wait 15-20mins. When I entered the store the first thing I noticed was the dinning -room was unkempt (dirty floors, tables). I placed my order which had to be remade due to personal not making to my spesif cations. My soft drink was bland. As I left I noticed the staff was outside with no one at the counter. Worst experience ever. Placed my order online, website said online 6 sandwiches could be ordered at a time. Canceled my 7th sandwich and submitted my order. Was contacted by a Subway employee who said they were out of steak and could they substitute Turkey. I agreed and was told the couldn't refund the difference but would add some cookies to balance out the difference. Drove over to pick up my order, called from the parking lot as directed to alert them that I was there. Short wait, lot was empty and there were only two customers in the store. A man came out with my order and asked to talk to me. He then began telling me that my order was a catering order and it caused them to use all their supplies and they couldn't take care of their other customers. I explained that the website allowed me to order six. He went on to say that the website is wrong and if I ordered that many it was a catering order and had to be placed 24 hours earlier. His attitude was very intimidating and I decided to let it go and get out of there. We have a large family and this was not a catered event. I shared this with my mom when I got home. She called the store and asked to speak to the Mgr. She was told that it was the manager and he was the one who challenged my daughter. He was rude and disrespectful and said basically the same thing he told me. My mom explained that we were customers and his behavior was unprofessional and we could bring our business to Jersey Mikes Which is 3 minutes away. He said then we should. My mom proceeded to tell him that with his attitude and lack of customer service skills this store would go the way other Subway shops have gone, out of business. This was by far the worst Subway I've ever been in. We should have left but didn't. The containers of food had food all over them, the counter was dirty and the people were both dirty looking and both had the attitude of not caring. They didn't even bother to put my friends sandwich in a sack and he asked me if I needed a sack. Just overall terrible. Water was all over the floor in front of the drink machine that anyone could have slipped on. They either need better management or just close it down. read more

I don't understand why the OWNERS/management doesn't care about this store. This is a prime location for the county but this is the WORST Subway in Habersham County. We LOVE Subway...but will not return to this location until we hear that it has improved. This location is ALWAYS under-staffed. Because it is under staffed, the wait time is FOREVER. Because it is under staffed, the store is always dirty (the health department score is in the 80's which is unacceptable to me). I'm guessing this location gets the least amount of business because of the aforementioned issues. Our most recent experiences at this are as follows: last week (first week of July 2019) we stopped in because there were very few cars in the parking lot and we figured we wouldn't have any trouble getting in and out quickly. I pulled up to the store and in front of me, at the outside tables, were your two employees (young females) and one employees boyfriend. I know it was her boyfriend because she was wrapped around him sitting there. They were all smoking (on your dime). A customer walked up to the door and entered the store. One of the employees got up and went in. My daughter got out of the car and followed her in. I watched the employee walk behind the counter, put gloves on and start taking the other persons order. Without washing her hands. Meanwhile, the other employee and her boyfriend finally stood up, had a mini make-our session, and then he left and she entered the store. I texted my daughter and told her to see if SHE washed her hands. She did not. My daughter then texted me and said that they weren't even taking the first guys order yet. They were trash talking another employee who was not present. At that time I told her to leave and we would go to the other store on 365 in Baldwin. Which we did. My daughter told them (Baldwin store) about our first experience. They were not surprised. They said that they had the same owner as the Cornelia Store (again...why aren't you doing something?!!) and that management is terrible in Cornelia (duh!). The Baldwin location was clean, fast, friendly and efficient. Tonight, I was mowing grass and sent my son to pick up subs for dinner. I forgot to tell him to go to Baldwin. He came home with the food and said that the service was TERRIBLE. It was slow, dirty and the one employee who looked like she knew what she was doing was CRYING while she made our food. I'm guessing that she's overwhelmed by running the place alone...or maybe it was the employee with the boyfriend and he broke up with her. The ONLY nice thing I can say is that the ingredients were fresh. However, the sandwiches were HORRIBLY constructed. When we unwrapped them half of the ingredients weren't even on the sandwiches. CORNELIA SUBWAY OWNER: I'm calling you out! This is not a new issue. This has been happening at this store since it opened in this new location, however long ago that was...so don't you dare try to blame your overworked and undertrained employees...these issues belong to YOU!!! Always understaffed. Drive thru is completely ignored whenever there are customers inside, even when they go in way after the time that you get to the drive thru. Mobile orders are useless if you can't get service at drive thru, and the sandwiches are never made when you show up. read more

Worst service of any Subway I have visited. Woman working drive through around 3:30 on August 18th was extremely rude. This is why I won't be back. Don't know her name since no one in there wears name tags. The woman with red hair, however, was quite pleasant as she always is. read more
