Really good spicy chicken and sides! Always good and portions are generous. Have never been disappointed there.

I'm not pleased with the food they left the pickles off of my spicy chicken-sandwich.

Just like other reviews sold out of what I wanted to order. How does a Popeyes in CORNELIA GEORGIA sell out oFF anything.

One person running the place. In 15 minutes they still couldn't get our order. What a joke

When we arrived there were several people waiting and talking to be what turned out to be a one man…read moreshow. There were several regulars that were popping in to get their fresh baked leaves of bread. The owner is a British man with a wonderful personality and accent. We ordered a plain ham sandwich which was hand sliced ham on fresh baked bread, and a Brie, Parma ham, and fig jam sandwich on fresh bread. This is not a fast food restaurant, it's one guy doing everything, and it's worth the wait. This may be the best sandwich I've ever eaten! Everything he does with food is intentional and the quality is second to none. The place is super clean, and you can tell he's glad that you're there to try his food. Some may think that his pricing is high, but rest assured the quality and taste outweigh the price. It's worth the money. He has assorted chips and a variety of cold drinks. My wife and I were visiting, but when we come back this will be the first lunch I eat. Collin (the owner) thanked us for coming. 5 stars all day long.

FWS is a great lunch spot and I am happy Yelp suggested it to me. The owner - operator fellow…read moreexplained the entire menu to us when he found this was our first time visiting. The menu is extensive and is made up of various baked goods designed in the UK, France, and Italy (and maybe more). Megan had a chicken salad sandwich that had bacon, some fruit, and was on focaccia. Megan enjoyed it a lot. I had some butternut squash soup and a steak pie. Both were mighty tasty. I had a good laugh when the owner said to be sure to use all the gravy. LOL you dont know me, I will take two gravies! We had a few baked goods to go including a pasty, croissant, and a bear claw. These were good but as with all freshly made baked goods you need to eat soon, don't let it linger! Oh yeah, looking at my photos the reason that we went to FWS in the first place was to pick up some baguettes to make banh mi sandwiches, and those were great.

To order in the drive-thru, it's a touchscreen. In a normal world this is great, but a bit worrisome during the Covid pandemic. I don't want to touch anything! (This didn't affect my rating) I prefer their subs over the other local sandwich shop. Service is always quick and employees are friendly and inviting. The bad: Again, the food is pricier than it used to be. For me and my husband it's usually close to $30 for two foot long sub, chips and drinks. We don't add anything extra except for cheese. The bread isn't always fresh. The last two times I went it was hard and brittle. (Untoasted) Crumbled everytime I picked it up. We didn't want to wait for fresher bread so we ate anyway since we were in a hurry. The ugly: The drive-thru ordering touchscreen was broke the last time my husband and I ate here so we ate inside. The inside of the restaurant is a pig sty. It was filthy the last four times I ate there in the last few months. I have never seen them wipe the tables and chairs between customers so I try not to touch anything. There were cigarette packs on the bar belonging to the employees. I don't care if you're a smoker but I don't wanna see your Camel's sitting right by the sandwich meats. Food and trash/napkins/paper wraps are usually on the floor everywhere, even half loafs of bread. Behind the counter and in the dining room. Some of the food bins are not the cleanest and the drink station is always covered in a thick stickiness. The counter by the drink station is always covered in standing water. The manager has been told about these issues.

The veggies looked rotten and as if they had been out for days. Said they couldn't do it any other way. They weren't apologetic or kind at all. I would NOT recommend anyone going there. It's gone down hill and clearly the owners do not care.
