From the start, we were reassured by John's professionalism and obvious expertise. At every stage of the process, he let us know what he was finding and what our options were for dealing with it. He made recommendations (which we took) but left all decisions about modifications to our house and the fate of the animals he trapped up to us. He performed a thorough assessment of our property: inside and out, roof to foundation. He identified evidence of chipmunks, mice, and flying squirrels, and found their points of entry. He developed a plan, in consultation with us, for trapping the animals who were making their nests within our walls while leaving the innocents in the yard alone. John set several live traps, and over the course of about a week, caught a few chipmunks and determined that the flying squirrels had long since left their nests. He gradually closed up all their points of entry, found the exit trails of the mice, and closed those up, too. John guarantees his work for a year, but he's left us confident that our house is clear of all unwanted critters, and will remain so. They could have responded as an emergency, but I declined and 1.5 days later Service Tech Josh arrived after calling me and providing an exact time of arrival. When Josh arrived, he was prepared, clean, neat, orderly and with a professional, fully stocked service truck. Josh took time to " listen" to the specifics of my issue and was soon changing into his full suit of armor to fight these pesky yellow-jackets. Josh got up into the areas required without causing ANY damage and destroyed this nest of well over 300-500 yellow jackets. Josh showed no fear and took these pest on a SEAL TEAM 6... When done, Josh cleaned up everything and digitally handled all billing. Please note: billing was 1/2 of what was quoted me for the same work by two other local companies. They also did NOT try to upsell me on a quarterly home visit etc. This company did what they promised at the price I was quoted. They also checked for mice and seeing a little bit of activity in a crawl space, they found a small hole in the foundation and filled it. No more problem there. It is noteworthy to point out that all (national) customer representatives had accurate information and were compatible with one another. In sum, they disputed i.e. struck down the salesman's pitch. I pay a monthly fee for a service that guarantees a monthly spray and a 48-hour callback for issues that arise between sprays. I have been attempting to get a callback from this local office for 6 days. I've called the national customer service line and spoken to ten different people all who promised to resolve this for me. No one did. I sent three messages over the online portal begging for a phone call. No one called. I explained each time that I am immunocompromised and weak as a result of a medical condition and that a pest infestation is particularly dangerous for me. Still no one called. I ended up paying $140 for another company to spray--a service Terminix was obligated to provide me for me. Now, after speaking to a Terminix billing agent, I was told they will not pay me the $140 back. No one can direct me to a department that can help me. This is nothing short of insane.
