She was very thorough and I was equally impressed. My pinky toe nail is extremely small but she was able to paint it neatly. You're better off ordering a pumice stone on Amazon and doing it at home. Ridiculous how awful this place was for me and I've been to quite a few nail salons prior to this experience. Regular manicures are only $10 but pedicures are double at $20. I believe gel manicures are $25 but I don't usually get them as they tend to dry out my nails unless it's a special occasion. On both occasions, I had a different technician working on my nails but they were both lovely and did a wonderful job on my nails. They took their time to file, buff, cut, paint, dry, and spray the enamel sprays on my nails. My nails lasted a good month or so so I'm very happy with the lasting power as well!

While paying, I shared an inspiration picture with the owner, who quoted me around $90. However, when I arrived for my GelX appointment, they informed me that they didn't have the desired charms and would have to create them using gel. I expressed my preference for charms because it's less prone to getting dirty quickly. During the appointment, I showed Candy another design. She requested the owner's presence to finalize the total price. The owner quoted me $10 for the length and $5 for the shape, which seemed unusual since there was no filing done to the tip. When I inquired about the $5 charge for the shape, even though the extension comes pre-shaped, the owner changed the price to $15 for the length. When I questioned the owner about this discrepancy, she claimed that since it was my second time and we're all Chinese, she wouldn't charge me. I asked her for a total price and she told me $100. Upon paying, The owner (Jae I think) informed me that the nails would cost $175. The $100 she had initially quoted me was only for the style. I was required to pay an additional $60 for the GelX and $15 for the length, even though she had previously stated that she wouldn't charge for the shape. I was so bewildered that I couldn't even argue with her. On Saturday, I received beautiful Gel-X extensions. Unfortunately, by Thursday (the second day of my vacation), two of the nails had already lifted. While Candy's work was indeed beautiful, it unfortunately didn't last. Despite my preference for Gel-X extensions, which are longer and last at least three weeks, I kept being persuaded to switch to Gel extensions. It's unfortunate because I work on the same street and have had numerous customers ask me where I get my nails done. I must warn them to be cautious of price changes at the last minute while paying.
