SuViche - Sushi and Ceviche - Amazing rolls! - Peruvian Near Me - Miami, Florida

Absolutely gross. Presentation was good, quality of fish in the sushi was awful to the point I am worried about getting sick. On top of one of the rolls they put what tastes like canned fish (they call it a spicy tuna roll- see picture). The drinks are not much better, I ordered the lima mule and it was so awful I had to send it back I don't do that often. read more

Very bad place, I went with my parents and my wife and I didn't like it. My appetizer was the last dish to get to the table. The Aji de Gallina was alright, the Pescado a lo Macho was horrible and the chaufa was alright. My last dish was the ceviche and it was horrendous; it had absolutely no flavor. The only good thing was the attention of our waitress. Best to take time to look for a better place to enjoy a better meal. read more

So I complained about their take-out service and delivery oversights. I was contacted by management and the situation was handled very politely. They admitted they were new at the delivery game, and therefore lacked logistics. It's very important to highlight they made amends. Being in the industry as a consumer and professional myself, it's important to have dissent so other consumers take caution. It is also equally important to update on fixed mistakes so that businesses can keep thriving. For that, kuddos to you, Suviche. It shows an honest character on behalf of you, so thanks for stepping up to the plate. read more

I had their "signature ceviche" and I have to say that it was amazing as far as flavor! But in all honesty there really wasn't enough actual raw fish in there. I asked for the extras and still didn't get enough to feel "satisfied " but as far as flavor it is a perfect 10! Also ordered "Lomo Saltado" and it was delicious! With no flaws! As far as service, it also scores a 10 out of 10! The gentlemen (tall dark Dominican looking guy, I think his name was Sean) was very kind and attentive to me and my girlfriend. I will absolutely recommend people here! He was a great server! read more

Amazing food, service, and drinks! Atmosphere is fun, fusion of flavors... ceviche is delicious.

It was an ok experience. Loved the atmosphere of bring outside. It was weird having people smoke at the table outside as if it was a sports bar/hang out but the food was ok. I got pieces of sushi. Wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst . The service was nice. read more

Went in at about 3pm on a Friday, asked for a causa and I got a scoop of tuna on top of yellow potato with the avocado on the side. Being a Peruvian myself this place does not match up to any original Peruvian dish, I understand it's a fusion but it does not par with any relevance. The ceviche was served with "fried french onion"... that's honestly sad. It was just fish dipped in a watery rocoto sauce. The service was terrible too as they decided to place a trainee as my waiter who had no idea what he was doing. I'll never come back to this place to be completely honest. If you're looking for fine Peruvian cuisine this is not the place. read more

This restaurant is a mix of two of my favorite cuisines - Peruvian and Japanese. The atmosphere outside is awesome especially on a beautiful breezy Miami night. I started off with a Chicha and my friend a pisco sour. Both were delicious. I wasn't too hungry so I got the steak sushi, which is a roll topped with sashimi lomo. It was perfectly seasoned and actually filled me up. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other unique and delicious looking sushi and ceviches. read more

I have not much to say about this place because I LOVE IT! It's perfection. Food and environment are AWESOME. My favorite ceviche is the Suvama Ceviche. And all the sushi are amazing. Same as the rice. Everything on the menu is a MUST! Love it love it love it. read more

Fish suviche was great. Fresh and well put together. Prices were reasonable and service was good.

Love this place. The ceviche Amarillo is my absolute favorite. Drinks are good too. The sashimi trio is my preferred appetizer there. As I live in the neighborhood, most pick ups or dinners are whether there or at Jimmy's. read more

I am rating this based on the ceviche and drinks. They have really good pisco sours. I love the maracuya pisco sour (passion fruit pisco sour). As for the ceviche I love how tangy and spicy it tastes! I always get the small bowl but end up wanting to get the bigger one. They have an awesome happy hour and you can park on premise for free before a certain time. Great outdoor seating with large cushioned swings to sit on. I loved coming here just to talk and have a small appetizer and a drink. I am not a fan of their hot foods. I also have eaten at the Suviche by the beach and it is also just as good (though I only went for lunch). read more

Service was awesome and staff was quite attentive! Great food! Awesome vibe! Quite chic and trendy. Love the mixutre of Asian influences of sushi along side with ceviche. I would definitely recommend! They also have great daily specials!!! read more

Totally delicious food, cool atmosphere, great service. unbeknownst to us it was ladies night and so we got two for one drinks (major plus). Our waiter was awesome and helped us with our orders since we couldn't decide on what to get-everything looked so good! Our good was seriously out within 10-12 min and it was all delicious. Also, great prices for Miami! I attached my receipt, but seriously, a full dinner with two drinks and (a ridiculously delicious) dessert and 20% tip all for under $50?! Deff go here! read more

I really like the food here but service is extremely slow. I waited over 25 mins in between courses. Waitress was nice but clearly overwhelmed. She didn't check on me. I had to flag her down to to complain 2x. I really want to like this place more because the dishes & drinks are tasty but service needs to improve. On the bright side, once I spoke to the manager he comp'd half my bill which was very generous. read more

I went to Suviche to celebrate my 21st birthday and it absolutely exceeded my expectations; we only went for dessert and drinks, but I definitely will be back to try more of the menu. In regards to service, our waitress was energetic, polite, and very helpful in regards to my food allergies. The desserts we had, the chocolate cake and crack pie (kinda like a dulce de leche tart), were intense, rich, and absolutely delicious. We looked forward to the pisco bar and we were certainly not disappointed. When we arrived, the hostess let us know that they have reverse happy hour specials from 11pm-midnight! The specials included $5 chilcanos and pisco sours and $3 off mixed drinks and shots. I had the Carrajillo, the French 75, and the drunken gummies. All absolutely superb. The drinks were well crafted and weren't too strong nor too weak. Suviche knows how to make a great cocktail! Adding to this the restaurants' hip decor and varied menu, including some adventurous takes on traditional peruvian cuisine, Suviche is definitely a place I recommend for a meal or just for drinks. read more

Spent a week in Miami went to a bunch of places. Went here close to our hotel. Turned out to be the best one! Everyone working there was great! Felipe was our server and he was the man! The food was amazing! Our group said if we lived here this would be our spot! read more

Awesome sushi rolls, okay food and drinks. Nice ambience outside and in a great location. Also, great happy hour menu and choices.

Took about 45-60 minutes to get two rolls . My friends was inedible . And mine which was a simple veggie roll had a combo of undercooked and over cooked rice . Three out of the the maybe 5 rolls had only lettuce in them . Very disappointed. Paid about 50.00 for something that was less than underwhelming . read more

Love that this place has two of my favorite food genres, Peruvian and Asian. Easy free parking in the back, plenty of place to sit and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The food is great and affordable, service is polite and timely. I have no complaints. read more

I loved this spot! I had dined at the Brickell location for lunch over two years ago and forgot how delicious this place is. I ordered the Quinoa salad.... SOOOO Good! It was Quinoa mixed with diced onions, tomatoes, carrots and cucumber, bok choy and snow peas topped with avocado, parmesan cheese and our teriyaki and ginger dressing. For my meal, I ordered the Mexicana Ceviche. The fish was super fresh! It was flavored with diced onions, tomatoes, and avocado paired with the Suviche Peruvian Sauce. It was spicy enough to give it a little kick. The seating outside is nice. Even though it was hot, they have fans outside so, it's not too bad. Service was excellent. read more

What a great find thanks to Yelp. Gluten free sushi, check! Great service, check! Ceviche is amazing! We swung by here last minute starving! We got a seat outside immediately, and had some snacks dropped at the table. Great way to settle down the crew! Although the service was a little slow, and there was a line for the bathroom (one toilet for the whole place), I just loved the atmosphere outside on the swings, and the food was fabulous! I can't wait to come back for another try here. read more

Great outdoor seating area. Perfect for a casual lunch. Only spent $20/person. Loved the seafood Peruvian risotto, must get! Lomo saltado was awesome, super flavorful and the beef was perfectly cooked. Ceviche and tiradito also didn't disappoint. Good place for groups so you can share multiple dishes. I wouldn't get the sushi rolls, The rolls are average, prefer rolls at Japanese restaurants. read more

I thought the lomo Saltado was very good but I was so surprised when our sushi came because they were SO small! Probably one of the smallest pieces of sushi I've ever had! Other than that the staff was great and ambiance was nice too! read more

The ceviche is really good! It has a lot of flavor and tastes even better with rice because it comes with a lot of broth. The Aji Amarillo was my favorite compared to the SuVama and SuViche Ceviches. But like I said, they are all worth it! read more

SuViche - Sushi and Ceviche - SuVama, Aji Amarillo and SuViche Ceviche - Peruvian Near Me - Miami, Florida

Location: In Wynwood but away from the madness. It's located between NW27 and NW28th, about two blocks below NW2nd Avenue. Street parking is available. The place: Great space but the selling point for me was the great terrace! It's not overly big but it's still fairly spacious and clean, and these guys are graced with one of Findac's amazing murals overlooking the terrace. Yes, OK, this was perhaps the main reason I wanted to check them out. The goods: I ordered the Tuna Tataki and two sushi rolls - the Cilantro and the Samba. Listen: just go because there's no way you can go wrong here. Each dish was fantastic and fresh, and delicious. We're it not for this Miami Heat cutting my appetite I'm half, I'd be there again right now. Seriously. Service: Great. Price point: $38 us tip. If you're in town and checking out Wynwood, this is a must-eat place. read more

Got to say, with all the hype this place gets I'm a tad disappointed! I've had a lot of Peruvian food because it's among one of my top three favorite cuisines. You expect a lot of flavor and excitement in Peruvian food, just really shameless, bold flavors that draw you back for more. You know what these sauces tasted like? The drizzles put on top of sushi. I realize their gimmick is nikkei but when I think nikkei I'm think really fresh ingredients and bold ingredients and j didn't get that. Instead, every roll had cream cheese in it or it was tempura'd or deep fried so I declined to order any. Next up, the ceviche "seafood" dish, or as people usually call it, mixto. Roughly cut fish, little baby shrimp and practically nonexistent slices of calamari you'd think it was a garnish swimming in a pool of their bland suvama sauce that was just bland bland bland. No zing, no spice, no nothing. I even forgot what it was supposed to taste like until I went home to research the menu. Also, when you pick two flavors for the tiraditos, the watery sauces just melt together just turning your dish into a fusion flavor which isn't terrible per se, but not what I wanted. Chifa was underwhelming- it tastes exactly like the side salad you get at a sushi restaurant, the aji armarillo was OK but definitely not the best. And the cocktails? They taste like soda. I guess you can say I'm a little spoiled because I went from New Orleans, cocktail capital of the word to Miami, I'm coming in with ridiculously high standards. I really expected a lot from Miami being the Latin capital of the states, but it turned out to be a mediocre trendy hangout. Loved the service by the way. Ps: people smoke on the patio, be forewarned if you like to savor your food. read more

Love this place. I went on a friday night and there was outdoor seating on the covered patio with a dj. The music wasn't overpowering so it was easy to have a conversation while enjoying the music. The menu has a good variety of ceviche and sushi. I had ceviche and it was tasty :-) What stands out though was the service. Our waitress was attentive and super sweet. She was also very patient, we didn't feel rushed at all when we finished eating and kept chatting. read more

I'm updating my review. So this is my third time eating here. I still haven't had time to actually sit down and eat here. I like how they have swinging chairs outside, kind of like a huge swing with cushions on it. They also have soft benches with pillows where you can sit down and relax; and of course, table seating inside and out. Unfortunately, I had to order to go because I was working. I ordered the Roccoco Ceviche and the Cilantro sushi. Unsurprisingly, both dishes were delicious! The food was undoubtedly good last time I ate here. I had previously complained about the portion sizes (which are small for the cost). This place is pricey, but it's worth the food and the atmosphere. They also brought out my meal very quickly. Not a long wait at all, unlike Jimmyz across the street. ... lol read more

Love this place! Great atmosphere and decor, with indoor and outdoor seating available, and a bar too.
