I recommend the Aji de Gallina and the arroz chaufa con mariscos - sizeable portions and oh so tasty! I had such a hankering craving for Peruvian ceviche amist this pandemic and ordered delivery. The delivery time was understandable since I live 6 miles from the location but what got me was the portion size for the price not including the service fees and delivery fees the delivery platform tacks on at the end. I was looking for a new ceviche place. I picked this one, put it into the maps app and drove there. When I got there I remembered I had eaten there about 6 months prior. I still ate there again. This review is for happy hour only. The restaurant has a very nice patio to chill on and a very laid back, unpretentious vibe. We arrived at the tail end of happy hour on a Tuesday. Sit anywhere you want. The service was fine, no complaints. Our drinks were good. Of the happy hour food offerings we enjoyed the ceviche the best. Crispy rice with spicy salmon was my second favorite. The tuna tataki was also good but there were only three pieces and I almost forgot about it while writing this review. Other items like the fish dip and aji de gallina bombs were ok, good but nothing to rave about. Everything was beautifully plated, I'll give them that. Overall an enjoyable visit but we were expecting a bit more from the food based on the reviews here. Kind of want to give 3.5 stars so just rounding up. I went on a Thursday afternoon for happy hour. I was surprised that they were almost full outside. (Great area, shaded & full bar there on the patio.) The prices for drinks and food are more than reasonable, especially compared to adjacent bars and restaurants. Service was fantastic all around, Ashley offered great recommendations. They make a "Suvichélada" that's made with beer and Leche de Tigre and the best bar drink I've ever had. Suvicheladas are hard to find, even in Miami. Heather (a manager) stopped by to make sure we were enjoying everything (we were!) and informed me that they also deliver via Uber eats. I've ordered delivery 3 times since because the jalepeno roll and lomo saltado are to die for and I crave the suspiro lemoño constantly. I'm definitely going back. I'd been a couple times before and it's always been good but the service was so fantastic this time, i feel obligated to leave a review. If you're a local or a regular... you've missed out if you don't have food and drinks at Suviche. Side note; I decided to sit inside where you have a great view of the kitchen...the chefs looked like they were actually having a good time and happy to be there. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! First, the atmosphere of this place is great. Fits with the wynwood area -- the front tables have swing chairs, there's paintings on the wall, DJ playing music. Our waitress was great, she explained the menu to us since it was our first time visiting. There was a bit of a wait for food, but there were a few big parties around us and music to enjoy so we didn't mind too much. We ordered causa to share -- OMG was it great! It was the best causa I've had, super flavorful. My friends had ceviche, which I assume was amazing because they ate it to the last drop. I ordered lomo saltado. The only weird thing is they let you pick your own meat, so I was confused when she asked (but stuck with the traditional beef strips). Came here on a Sunday mid-afternoon for lunch. The place was relatively empty and since it was nice out, we decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather. This may have been a mistake. As we started walking, many of the tables and chairs were very dirty and wet. I finally find a table that isn't too bad, but there were pigeons by the table eating the food on the floor by our table. The waiter finally comes to our table and greets us, he is very attentive all throughout and gives us great service. We order the lomo saltado bites, lomo saltado meal, and the arroz chaufa. Everything comes in a timely manner and everything is delicious! I would've given the place 5 stars based on the food and how fast everything came out but with how dirty the place was, I had to give it 3 stars. Update: Suviche reached out, confirmed there was an error with the pricing of the half size sushi roll I ordered previously, and helped make it right. I have since placed another order and had a fantastic experience. There was a buy one sushi roll, get one half off option, so a few friends and I decided to order several rolls and split them amongst ourselves. There was not one sushi roll we did not like. The fish was fresh, and the flavor combinations were excellent. The best part about their sushi menu, they offer half rolls for a decent price, allowing you to try more options! This has definitely become a new favorite of ours for sushi. Next, I plan to give the other main entrees a shot next time we order from here- which will be very soon! Quick tip: download the Suviche app from your Google Play store or the App Store and order directly from the restaurant. This app will have the most up to date prices, the best descriptions of their menu items, and the most fluid delivery since they are directly with the restaurant. This is a great place to start the night! Extensive food options. I personally tried the sushi. I got two rolls and an appetizer. They have a variety of drink options of which I tried a blueberry cocktail. The food itself was delicious! I would go back here for the food. The drink was nothing special but it was good, a bit pricy but I'd get it again. They have out door seating which was pleasant. They also do food as it's ready instead of all at once. The only reason it didn't get a five stars was that it wasn't the best service (seemed a bit rushed on a slow night) and the portion sizes were very small for the price. read more

Unfortunately, I wasn't as satisfied as my last visit, enough to leave a review. My sister and I shared a Aji Amarillo ceviche and Lomo Saltado (steak). The ceviche smelled fishy (fresh fish does not have a fishy smell) it was chewy, and some pieces still had the skin on. Not only that, but it was also overcooked and the canchita tasted like it was fried in dirty oil. The lomo saltado was ok, the steak was tender, but it wasn't cooked medium, it was well done, and the juice had a strong vinegar taste. The rice, sauté onion and tomatoes, and fries were good. Waiter never asked if our food was good, only came to our table to ask for our order and to give us the receipt. Other staff members delivered our food to our table. My mom, who ordered a ceviche and lomo bites, didn't like her food either. Ps. On my way out, I told one of the managers about my experience, he said they've been having issues with the fish, and kinda apologized. The food was good, no complaints. However the only dish that really stood out to me was the steak lomo saltado. If I were to come here again I would definitely just order that for myself. It was happy hour so we tried some of the specials - the seared tuna dish, which was delicious (but only a veryyyyyy tiny portion of tuna), the sampler which came with two little empanadas and cheese balls (I think they were cheese balls? they tasted very cheesy, but yummy), with a cheese dipping sauce (did I mention there was CHEESE?), pisco sours (they had so many cool flavors to choose from!), and some delicious nigori sake (soooo creamy and tasty!) Our server was friendly, fast, knowledgeable about the dishes and asked excellent follow up questions to ensure we would enjoy our picks. We shared the kimchi shrimp roll, it was awesome! My friends ordered one ceviche, an Aji de Gallina, and I had the causa saltada. Everyone loved their food. We also had some libations, I had the chicha maracuya, my friends had the anis pisco sour and a barrel aged Chilcano. All three drinks were delicious! They have amazing artwork on all their walls done by local artists, huge giant outdoor swings and one amazing pisco sour. This place is a great date night and a must! It is self seating. They had a large variety of food and long list of really creative sushi which come in two sides (4 pieces and 8 pieces). We got 4 pieces of the coconut sushi roll and 4 pieces of Miami roll and they were both amazing. We also got the "Peruvian risotto" and that was super good. To start, the restaurant charges $10 to park in the parking lot. Unethical and inconsiderate in my opinion because I'm coming to dine at a private establishment with it's own private lot.
