The nursing staff were pretty thorough and the nurse practitioner I had was extremely friendly, asking questions and seemed to take her time listening to me more than my own doctor. But it shouldn't have taken 3 weeks to resolve the issue. Horrible communication and inability to correct a mistake on their end. I needed a TB test for grad school and a lot of urgent cares didn't take insurance for the test. When I made the appointment on June 4th, the person I spoke with said they take my insurance. When I arrived for the test on June 8th, I was told the test wasn't covered by insurance and was $69. Since I needed the test for school, I just paid the fee and it was a little lower than some other places. However, they should have told me at the time of booking so I could have been prepared to pay or go elsewhere. The bigger issue is that they haven't refunded the $50 fee I was charged when I filled out my information online. The online portal just asked for my card info but nowhere did it say I'd be charged a fee. When I went to get my results read on 6/10/26, I showed the receptionist a screenshot from my bank account and she said that was a no show fee and they would refund it since I showed up to my scheduled appointments. When I check my bank account two days later, I don't see the refund. I've made several calls and the people I talk to keep saying they'll look into the issue yet my bank account doesn't show the refund. One person I talked to said I shouldn't have been charged the NSF because I had a TB test, not appt. It shouldn't take 3 weeks to refund the fee and am seriously considering taking City Health to small claims court. The person who did my TB test was friendly but I would not go back to City Health due to the above issues.

There was a PILE of filled out forms it seemed like only two people working with FULL waiting room finally 2 ladies came out and the front desk SHE WAS SO RUDE and STUCK UPI ended up leaving!!! They need to hire DIFFERENT staff. I felt so bad for the two girls working with NO HELP. They were as pleasant as can be but the girl in the front with short hair needs a retraining!!! RIDICULOUS. GOOD: I ended up coming back on sunday 3/1 around 3pm and customer service was OUTSTANDING!!! I asked the front desk her name Meeka she was alone working by HERSELF BUT I would definitely only go back if she was working she made it so simple and easy!! So pleasant we need more people like her in this world. I WOULD GIVE HER 10 STARS it was pretty busy but even though she was alone it was FAST she's amazing, and knowledgeableI wish she worked more often I was hesitant about giving this place a second chance thank god

Every time I call to get labs done or just anything, the doctor never calls back in the 24-48 hours frame. After being on hold forever you have to consistently follow up to hear back. Your medication will be submitted to the pharmacy w/o anyone notifying you. Forget about getting an appointment in a descent time frame, no matter how much of an emergency it is it'll be at least 3+ months!! Today was the final straw. I tested Covid+ yesterday. This morning I called to get a prescription for Paxlovid I didn't want to see a doctor I know what I needed. Well after talking to nurse on phone for about 15mins she insist that I come in same day so they can check my lungs. I don't have the energy but came. Once I get here and check in (9:50) for 10am appointment the receptionist comes to my seat at 10:01 and asks if I would like to do a phone appointment. NO I'm already here! The amount of strength that it took me to get here why would I leave. She said I'll let the doctor know that it's patient preference. I said IT'S NOT MY PREFERENCE THE NURSE ON THE PHONE SAID I NEEDED TO COME IN! About 5 mins later a nurse comes to me and asks "am I sure that I don't want to do a phone appointment". Then asks me when did I test positive. Are you kidding me. I didn't want to leave my house and you guys continuously asking me if I can do a phone appointment?! So you want me to leave then go home and wait for a call!! Very inconsiderate!! Shouldn't all of this info be in the notes I was literally on the phone for 15-20mins before this appointment was made. So now I'm the back room and the nurse tells me she'll see what Dr is available to see me. I said well they said Dr. Zang and she said well it depends if she's feeling well. I said why would she be here at work if she's not feeling well?! She's like well we will see what doctor is available I'm not saying that she doesn't feel well. Then what are you saying? 10:50 the doctor comes in stands at the door and says you qualify for the Paxlovid that you requested. I said I know I do I work in the medical field I'm very familiar. Why did I need to come here and to have two different people try to convince me to take a telephone appointment after already being here? is Very unprofessional and inconsiderate!! She's like I don't know why because we usually don't have people come. I said I've been waiting an hour for nothing. I said don't you want to listen to my breathing and she said no I checked your vitals you are fine!! If you are looking for a quality clinic with quality doctors STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! This place is complete trash!!

Urgent care opens at 8, so they registered me, but I had to either wait outside or in my car because some of my symptoms match Covid. I really didn't think I'd make it back to my car with the shortness of breath, so I chose the wait outside on the side option while I was triaged by phone. It was so cold out there!! Brrrr! I'm totally understanding of the reasoning and system, but maybe an outdoor heater nearby? I was triaged quickly by the nurse on the phone and he was great! They had me in a room by 8:30, so it wasn't too bad. In the room, nurse took all the vital information and did the Covid/RSV/Flu swab and then I waited for the doctor. Doctor Lee was great! Very patient and great listening. She recommended an X-ray, which I did and checked everything else. As soon as the X-ray came back, lucky me...I have Walking Pneumonia. She had medications prescribed and after care papers complete and I was on my way home by 9:45ish. Staff gets 5 stars! The only downsides were that the X-ray tech wasn't very friendly and that I had to sit outside (which I understand) and freeze (an outdoor heater in the outdoor waiting area would be helpful).

I had a terrible, unethical, and harmful experience at Sutter Health urgent care in early February…read morein which the doctor tried to tell me I don't actually have migraine disease based on her false understanding of migraine disease (she said the fact that my migraine sometimes is felt on the left side and sometimes on the right side means it's not migraine, which is simply untrue as 85% of people with migraine (not even just severe cases) have it bounce sides - I even showed her medical research disproving her false understanding, which she disputed) and then tried to tell me I didn't have a dental infection after I was diagnosed by xray and an endodontist with one. When I was there with the flu simply to get a script for Tamiflu. Why was she even trying to invalidate my migraine and dental infection diagnoses!! Sutter sent me a feedback form the next day. I filled it out with my experience and said I needed a call back from them to discuss. No call back. I called Sutter a week or two later, and the person told me to fill out a form on the patient relations site in order to try again to get a call back. I did. I STILL haven't been contacted by them. I called them today (the number on their patient relations site) and asked to speak with patient relations. They sent me to primary care, who told me there is no way they can connect me with patient relations. They told me they would transfer me to urgent care. I said I don't want to be transferred to urgent care. I want to be transferred to patient relations. The person then transferred me to urgent care against my explicit request, and the urgent care person is now giving me the phone number to contact patient relations, which is exactly where I called to end up in this cluster fu*k!! And then the urgent care person threatened to hang up on me when I tried to explain my complaints. And then she did hang up on me when I was answering her question of what number I had originally called. This is sooooo disrespectful. Riddle me this: How on earth can there be no way for a PATIENT to be put in contact with PATIENT FRIGGIN RELATIONS?! And why would you make your patient relations number a disrespectful maze of rude people passing you along and then asking you to keep doing that in perpetuity. (I've now been on the line with them for 30 mins+, and this is my fourth attempt to give feedback. All while I am sick in bed with the disease the urgent care Dr was disputing I have. This is one example of how the healthcare system makes the sick sicker and gets away with migraine stigma. @sutterhealth - you now have me making three complaints instead of one.
