This is by far the worst Quest Diagnostics location I have visited. I attempted to schedule an appointment but was informed they were fully booked for the next month. Since walk-ins were listed as an option, I arrived at 1:30 PM. The check-in kiosk indicated there was only one person ahead of me, which I did not mind. However, there was no staff available to assist with the check-in process. The check-in area consists of a very small, windowless room with no access to speak to an actual staff member. This made the process especially difficult for several patients--mostly older individuals--who were not familiar with the technology and were visibly confused. I found myself assisting them as if I were an employee. I waited until 3:30 PM with no update. At that point, a staff member finally came out and informed us that walk-ins are not accepted after 2:00 PM and that anyone there for a walk-in could leave. This policy was never posted or communicated, which resulted in a significant waste of time. I explained that I had arrived before 2:00 PM, but was told I could stay until 4:00 PM to see if someone did not show for their appointment--though it was "more than likely" I would not be seen. The interaction was rude and unprofessional. Clear signage, staff presence, and better communication could have prevented this situation entirely. If it were possible, I would give this location zero stars. read more

Just Horrible. Check in at a tablet their is no receptionist area. There is just a door where they open to call your name. If you knock they give you attitude and just say "Check-in" only 2 workers. No one comes to the lobby to check in on us. read more

Can't walk in at 11:15 even though you're the only one there because they'll tell you it's their lunch time (11:30 is their lunch time). Also can't bring an electronic version of your order because they can't scan it and you can't email it to them. Twice struck out at quest. Good thing Labcorp is down the hall, had nobody in their waiting room, walked in at 11:00 (their lunch time), and they just had me email them my order and I was in and out in 13 minutes (less time than I waited at Quest to be turned away for the second time). As a walk in i watched groups of appointments be seen before me. I been here since 1230pm I was in the lobby alone and they still waited till 1 single patient came in. They continue to see patients regardless of my time I been waiting its now 210 and they refuse to see me as a walk in. Please put a sign on the door that says you are closed for lunch. That seems like a very simple thing to do. People could be sick and barely able to function when they come. If they are 10 minutes early and come while the door is locked they would be totally confused. Our society just doesn't seem to care anymore. It's sad. Clinic manager needs to be fired or they need to adjust their policy to appointments only. They basically just wait to the next appointment checks in and calls them back. read more

If I could give this place more stars I would. The techs there are working very hard and there were a lot of people when I went. Just a tip if you plan on going definitely have an appointment scheduled, they do accept walk ins but being seen is not guaranteed because one of the phlebotomists did it explain that they have appointments every 10 minutes so if every person shows up for their appointment then it's more difficult to get to each and every walk in. Very very unprofessional the techs there were rude and made me feel like I was nobody we were down to the last three people was waiting 45 mins not to mention I was there earlier the same day 11:30 am the said they was closing in 15 mins I had to come back being in a wheelchair it is already a task to even get there office is quit a distance if you big guy in a wheelchair. Jennifer was great and her assistant I didn't get his name but he was a Latino with a half shaved head with a black pony tail he was excellent drawing blood! It was a a small waiting room and it was pretty confusing where to find this quest. Out of sheer luck I asked the pharmacy if they knew where Quest was and sure enough it was in the same building around the corner hall 111 Quest! I went with an appointment at 9:45am on a Thursday I could have been in and out but I waited to have my blood drawn laying down so I waited 10 mins for the bed since there's only one. So I was out at 10:00am! They had a very clean waiting room and excellent staff! Well done Quest so happy I went with my gut and went to my closest Quest! We came in and luckily there was no wait, the staff at the front was very nice. However, the blood drawn itself was very disappointing. I can't remember her name but it was an African female, she dug the needle into my left arm and after a few minutes said there was no blood, and then moved onto my right arm. I'm not sure how experienced she was but she did not apply enough pressure on the veins, now a day later that spot is all swollen & bruised. This location is like a soap opera villian. You either love or hate it. I come to this location since its near my home and other places I frequent. Despite being convient to making appointments and using the kiosk to check in, it sucks in other aspects. You make an appointment to avoid the hassle of the long lines and hopefully they will squeeze you in between walk-ins to accomdate that hey you may an appointment. Nope, if your appointment is at 7:30 and they open at 7am and there were 7 people waiting while they opened, they will serve all those people and by the time, you are called to check ID/insurance card, it is 5 minutes to 8 o' clock. So I hope they do implement accommodations to people who makes appointments and the way they handle walk-ins. I had my appointment on Thursday and the first in all my 38 years did I receive my first bruise from getting my blood drawn. read more

I am absolutely furious at the lab technician that was responsible for submitting my blood work. It was a STAT request per my Dr for a procedure scheduled on the following day. IT WAS STAMPED IN RED ON THE BLOOD WORK ORDER! I received a call from the Dr's office saying they hadn't yet received the results from the blood work I had drawn before 8am that morning! I called the office and was informed "yup, someone messed up and it's just now getting picked up" WTF? So because of this oversight my procedure that has already been delayed by a year may be rescheduled and I have already spent so much money on meds and bloodwork tests to prepare for it. I'm beyond upset. I was at the point that I looked up to see if I could sue Quest for their incompetence!! Try another clinic or just stay on top of these people and question everything they do because they clearly are failing at their jobs! read more

I initially came in not knowing that I needed an appointment, they put me on a standby list? I came at 11:30 before they had to go on lunch (which isn't mentioned online btw so I didn't know) so I waited until 12:30 and its almost 2:30 now so I've been waiting for 3 hours, there are maybe 7 people in the entire office and I'm watching appointment after appointment go by, people who make appointments get in within 5 minutes, I understand that appointments come first, but there was a point when there was 2 people in here and and they couldn't even take me? I get that appointments before me come first OBVIOUSLY but to make people wait here for 3+ hours when it's not busy is outrageous, I would so understand if the waiting room was filled up but there are currently 4 people in the waiting room who all came hours after me, the staff have a little bit of an attitude that I picked up on and its honestly really uncomfortable, everyone in the waiting room is scared to even ask questions because the staff might snap, I don't see how all the Quests have such piss poor reviews and still operate in the way they do, it's ridiculous and honestly the whole company needs to reform the system, it's a huge waste of time and I have to leave because I have another appointment that NEEDED my blood test but now I can't provide it, it's a whole mess, Trash company, no wonder the staff have an attitude it must suck to work there too. read more

I think I owe it to these guys to write a review. They were very courteous and professional. I made an appointment online to get a blood draw for my annual physical. The appointment was for 11:45am. I showed up at 11:36 and was walking to my car by 11:57. I did note to the employee there that they didn't have the most positive reviews on Yelp. She acknowledged that they were previously short-staffed and that she and another gentlemen working there were relatively new and that they were operating much more efficiently now. If my experience was any indication, she is correct. She also noted that Monday and Tuesday mornings are very busy times, so if you can avoid those times, it would be best. There was nobody in the wait room at all when I entered, so apparently I picked a good time! I booked an appointment online and then tried to call to make sure that they provided the service that I needed however their phone is automated so I couldn't get a hold of anyone. When I showed up to my appointment they couldn't help me since I had not purchased the lab test that I went in for. Even if I would've purchased it on site they didn't guarantee taking me in. Every time I go to this place Quest there is a line and the nurse staff are NOT very helpful and have attitudes like they don't want to help or support you. Today I learn EVEN THOUGH on their door and website it clearly states that they close at 5pm, they have decided to take the last person no later than 4:30 due to having to do this or that. Well to me they should state they close at 430 and take the last person at 4:30! The black woman that told us was more concerned with being able to leave at 5:00 than taking blood draws that could be life saving. She did not care nor does Quest care about you! There's no notification and on the contrary, I received a text reminder about my appointment 30 minutes prior. I've come to this location twice in the past 2 months and it was great. Both times I went online and made appointments and both times I was called in pretty quickly (within 10 mins of my appt). And the people were great! The second time I went in, the phlebotomists had to trade places. I'm not sure why, but I'm sure they had a good reason. Since I had to have more blood drawn than the first visit, I let the woman know that I brought my own snacks just in case. Her response was that we should wait and go into the other room so she could have me lie back. I found this so considerate and had no problem waiting for the other room. My appointment ended up starting about 25 mins after the time it was scheduled for, but that's because they clearly take time to address each person's needs. Had the absolute worst medical experience ever at this lab, specifically with the phlebotomist Zarlasht. I know for a fact that my doctor sent my labs to quest but their tech system is shit so we had to call to get it resent. Zarlasht called my doctor but said they put her on hold for too long so she hung up. At this point I tell her I'm in for confirmation of a miscarriage and start crying. She then refused to call my doctor back, told me I had to do it, and then kicked me out of the private area to the waiting room while I'm crying without even offering a tissue. I'm sure this is their policy but it was humiliating, and they weren't busy, I could have stayed in the room. I quickly get my doctor to resend the labs, wait for like 30 minutes for the lazy staff to check their fax and go back for the draw. It took her 3 attempts to find a vein, bruising both my arms (never had a problem before) and then she blamed ME and said it was because I was nervous. Not sure why this place hires such incompetent and insensitive staff, or why you'd go into the medical field if you have no empathy or ability to do your job without physically hurting people. Make an appointment and you will have a great experience! I was hesitant to go here after reading the negative reviews, but my doctor recommended it and it was nearby, so I decided to go. Upon walking in 5 mins early for my 10:15 appointment, I saw a packed waiting room and immediately regretted my decision. I signed in on their tablet and took the one remaining chair available. They have a large TV screen displaying wait times for everyone, and I was hesitant it was accurate because it did say I only had a 4 minute wait. To my surprise I was called at 10:15 and gave my paperwork. I was asked to sit down again and they would call me shortly. 2 minutes later they called me back and almost immediately drew blood. Elizabeth drew my blood and she was friendly, fast and she made it painless. I was done by 10:22. Great experience. When I was in the blood drawing room I noticed a computer showing wait times, and the entire list of people (except me) were shown not to have appointments. One person was up to a wait time of 71 minutes. So although they say they take walk-ins, I wouldn't recommend it, and I'm pretty sure those account for most of the negative reviews. Avoid the hassle and make an appointment online. I got my appointment less than 24 hours ahead of time. Also, don't confuse Quest with Labcorp, which is also in the building. They each had an attitude only because people were coming near the closing time. I was then told to come back the following day only because "she" needed 20 minutes to withdraw my blood. I went to quest to have my blood drawn for a medical program. I came on a Monday at opening time. I fasted for the draw ...and was ready to get a stick. There were seven people ahead of me. Despite the busyness, the waiting room was quiet as patients whispered to their spouses ...and the less tech-savvy folks figured out how to sign in on the iPads. It was tersely made clear that no one would be served if they didn't sign in on the ipad. No help was offered to those who were clearly struggling. I felt kind of bad for the senior citizens who did not speak English as a first language as they struggled to sign in. Still, the people behind the counter were dull and unhelpful. In fact, I am tech-savvy enough to sign in, however, the sensitivity settings on the iPad are so low that one had to smash the numbers really hard to make them enter into the iPad. That was somewhat annoying, at least noticeable. As I waited after signing in the nurse, presumably, was taking people in for their lab tests and each time she unceremoniously slammed the door *thwack, kedunk!, Slam!!* killing any peace of mind created by the sleepy, bleary-eyed others waiting patiently. Three times, she did this. It was soooo unthoughtful and boorish. Let's face it, we're all about to have these people stick us with sharp things and them slamming around does not inspire confidence or calm. So a young man calls my name. I do not, unbeknownst to me have the right lab order for the blood draw. I hand him my doctor's business card and say that this is where the results need to be sent. Here's where things really go sideways. His tone and entire demeanor with me is impatient, tired, uncombed hair and rolling eyes. If I were closer, I'm certain I would have gotten waft of morning breath because this guy just rolled out of bed and barely swiped the sleep out of his eyes before punching the clock. Maybe he slept in his car in the parking lot after a two day bender. Look, I'm no major dish, but I wash my face and make myself presentable for work. He does not say, "ok let's see what we can do." He does not behave in any manner of customer service. He just says snarkily, "I can't help you without an order." Where's the solution- orientation? Also, why are you so tired that you cannot be helpful? You do this every day. I have never been here before. It is your job to HELP ME understand it. You're so overwrought that you need to place blame and slam doors literally and figuratively? I'm the one who fasted for a blood draw. After all, it's not as though it is Friday at 4:30pm... it's monday morning. You had all weekend to prepare for being at work at 7am. But you're spent? I ask for a manager because I know I won't handle being treated this way. He rudely informs me that he's the head phlebotomist on duty. Ha! There's not a snowball's chance in hell that this guy is coming at me with a syringe. No thank you. Fix your face and your tone. You are at work. Be helpful and be nice or be unemployed.
