Had dinner here last night. Their main focus for dine in is probably the all you can eat sushi menu. Beware there are items on the order list that incur additional up charges. When looking at the main menu and prices, I don't think that they are out of line and probably worth the extra funds. The place is a very pleasant atmosphere and service is adequate. I have been frequenting Sushi ya for the past 14 years. I supported them during Covid (every week), recommended to family and friends, and have had everything at least once on the menu. Sadly, the quality has gone down hill as of late. The maki rolls are made with less ingredients and are terribly put together. I'm sure there are different chefs because it is new ownership, but the quality of the rolls even a year ago were much better. Please bring back the old way of how you made your maki rolls. They were better in years past. Sushi ya will always be special to me (it was my first place ever trying sushi), but I won't be ordering as often if food doesn't improve. Stopped into Sushi Ya for a light dinner since a few of us were in the area. We were seated right away. It wasn't too busy. Our server was very friendly and she made sure we had everything that we needed. We started off with some edamame, which was a great appetizer. The house salad, I could have skipped. Customer service was so terrible the guy didn't even deserve a tip. He didn't check on us once we kept having to flag him down, and he didn't clear any of our plates as we were eating. He was also very rude, as he was taking one of our tickets for AYCE sushi he grabbed it at walked away and didn't say a single word, his rude behavior was present the entire time. Updated review- My girlfriends and I went for dinner at SushiYa and ordered the 4 specialty rolls and 4 regular rolls party tray. Our favorite go to rolls are the following: Las Vegas roll, angel hair, niagra, volcano, godzilla, and crunch shrimp. The dinner sushi rolls are WAY better than the lunch ones. The lunch sushi rolls are small and simple. The speciality rolls are where it's at! The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because they don't have the AYCE (all you can eat) option anymore. I know I'm not alone on this. Please bring that back and I bet your business will thrive even more. read more

Sadly, our dining experience was awful. Sushi quality has decreased, service was terrible. Received a soda that was mostly water, it took 30 minutes for first order, we ate that, then 30 mins later asked for a to go container & the check. We didn't even realize the second order didn't come with the first order due to the length of time it took for all of it. We were wondering why we were not full. Then they were just going to pack it up, but received check and they were charging us full rate for the rolls (an additional $40) even though they brought them out 45 minutes later. We had no time left to even eat them. They didn't allow us to take them home so took the charge off, but had to throw them away anyhow. Made no sense especially because it took so long. The "manager" was dressed unprofessionally, wearing I think her pajama pants and a winter hat. She was rude, and had zero idea on what she was doing. We won't ever be back. She didn't care at all about anything. I hope the $40 she tried to charge us for food that took an inordinate amount of time (with no explanation until the end) was worth losing the restaurant about $1,000 at least from just my family on 2025, not to mention those we take there, from this post and it won't be recommended. That is thousands of dollars. I understand the constraints of not having enough employees, but then you have to understand people don't have 2 hrs to eat lunch and she should of just packed it up. We weren't ordering anymore than we could of eaten. The manager should find a new career. read more

This is a nice place and the servers were pretty good. The only error was my salad was turned I to soup but no big deal. The hibachi lunch is worth it. Moved away 5 years ago so we were very excited to come back to our favorite all you can eat sushi place, we were very disappointed when we drove over an hour to no more all you can eat sushi, they did still have good deals and we got to have some of our favorite rolls but it did still disappoint us. Looked like the owner and one of the sushi chefs were the only servers and although not busy and crazy like in the past she was running to tables trying to keep up.
