For sushi lovers, they have a whole page of speciality rolls, and they offer buy one get one free (more instructions on the menu) we ordered two specialty rolls and two classic rolls, and I absolutely loved the speciality ones - there is one with both shrimp on top and some crunch in the filling, which was super delicious. I'd be lying if I told you that I haven't spent an entire paycheck just visiting Sushi Siam alone this past year (we're in January 2025 so we are also including until summer 2024). We mostly do pickup but have also sat inside, both equally great experiences. If I'm craving sushi, I do their BOGO. Sushi is typically around $15-18 a roll for specialty rolls and they're always great quality. The pad Thai is delicious, drunken noodle is good, massaman curry is flavorful...I mean, there's not a single dish that we haven't enjoyed. I absolutely love their miso soup, it's honestly the best miso I've ever had. Unfortunately, for $3.50, you get very little, about 1 cup, if not less. That was the most disappointing thing to me. Everything else is portioned great except for their miso soup for some reason. So now, I don't order that anymore. If Sushi Siam makes it a pint like the other soups, I'll order it again. If eating inside, the service is friendly and quick. We enjoyed taking a break from take-out and enjoyed a meal at the restaurant. It's cozy and decorated well. Overall, Sushi Siam is a great local restaurant that serves delicious food. All that this place needs is a proper portion for their amazing miso soup. read more

Pad thai has a weird taste to it, almost tastes like vinegar based eastern north carolina BBQ. Beef in pad thai dry as a bone and seemed prepared several days ago. 2 sushi rolls were edible. I would call them totally average. Would rather have just gotten sushi from harris teeter. Wasabi and ginger comes smashed up in a saran wrap ball. Shrimp tempura had pieces of shell on it. Salmon definitely seems old. Wife threw out pad thai, I struggled through mine since we spent almost 70 dollars on this meal. They should really be ashamed of themselves. read more

The decor in the restaurant is nice but the fish is old. I would assume it has been frozen and thawed out months later. The shrimp was chewy but also disintegrated like tissue paper. Instantly my husband and I had stomach issues. I do not recommend this place for sushi at all. read more

I have visited this restaurant often within the last few months. They offer bogo sushi, which in todays times makes a difference...Especially if you are like me and like to taste a little of this and a little of that! I have NEVER been dissatisfied by an order I've received. I don't really eat raw sushi rolls and they have several options that have cooked seafood, which I appreciate! It's about about 25 minute drive for me, but well worth it. I haven't tried much of the menu aside from sushi, other than their chicken Panang Curry, which is also amazing! Every time i've gone in for my pickup order the same hostess greets me & she's always been pleasant as well! I've never dined in, but plan to one day in the near future! Another excellent meal at Sushi Siam. This local spot serves up great sushi, and the rolls are BOGO - always. Our server, Sabrina, did a great job. Order taken, drinks delivered, food accurate and QUICK. Our glasses were refilled many times without having to ask, and plates cleared quickly and unobtrusively. This is the way service is supposed to be! Great job, Sabrina - THANK YOU. I tried the Rock & Roll and Geisha rolls. Rock & Roll is a delicious combo of crab, tempura shrimp and avocado. Then rolled in salmon and avocado, and baked, slathered with spicy mayo and sweet sauce and garnished with scallion and fish roe. It's spicy and sweet, crunchy and creamy in every bite. Really good. The Geisha is Tuna, Salmon, White Tuna and Yellow Tail, rolled with avocado and roe, garnished with scallion. The fish was a little skimpy on this one, with more rice than fish. Still, it was delicious and between these 2 rolls I was full. Also ordered at the table were avocado roll and vegetable roll. Veggies are crisp, fresh and rolls generous in size. We also tried the summer rolls. Huge rice shells brimming with shrimp, lettuce, carrots, bean sprouts, noodles and avocado, with a bowl of homemade peanut sauce for dipping. Veggies crisp and fresh, lots of shrimp. These were outstanding. Also tried was basil fried rice and pot stickers. The fried rice was delicious, the basil adding a distinct and exotic taste; the serving enough for 3 to share. Pot stickers were also tasty, nicely spiced ground pork, pinched into wonton skins and cooked, served with a curry sauce. The skins are thin enough not to be too chewy, the meat tender and juicy and the sauce salty/tangy. One of us was celebrating a birthday, and she was treated to a complimentary dessert - a very nice gesture. She chose the coconut cake. Sabrina brought us a nice big slice, with forks for everyone to have a bite. The cake was as good as any coconut cake I've had. Flavorful yellow cake, coconut laced icing, covered with shredded coconut. It was moist, sweet and creamy, none of the flavors intruding on the other - all just a perfect mesh of deliciousness. The tab for 5 was $57 after the BOGO discount. You can't beat that for value - the food is delicious and the service is great. Plus ya gotta have that coconut cake! Recommended! read more

Where do I start ?? This place is just solid.. the sushi rolls are always fresh and Thai is also really amazing as well. The specialty rolls are just so well done and the Thai food (Pad Thai especially) is just so good. I have also ordered Ramen here and honestly it was really good. We usually order for pick up so I can't really comment on service but I have never had any issues ordering. The BOGO deal is a bonus but not why we are regulars .. the food is just spot on! read more

Don't go eat at 8pm. You get seated next to the nosiest Kitchen ever!! Food was still awesome! So I'm leaving my rating at a 4. I gave this place grace the first time thinking maybe they had a bad day or I ordered something wrong but this is ridiculous. When I kindly asked for more vegetables the guy at the front desk was rude and said no. I asked for a refund. He just printed out a void receipt and said nothing. Never coming back. By far my favorite sushi restaurant! Nice little sushi spot in wake forest in a nice shopping center. The restaurant is a little dimly lit but it really gives great vibes and is just the right amount. The sushi is Bogo for equal or lesser value and well worth it. It's so delicious. The waiter was very nice and friendly and easy to talk too. He was quick to attend to us and kept our drinks refilled. Definitely great service. Excellent Sushi! Not the best I've ever had, but right up there with some of the best in the Triangle area. The place was slammed when I brought my family here and we were still able to get seated within 20 minutes. Other large parties were just not responding when they were called so we got bumped up as a result. Admittedly, service was slow, but like I said, the place was hopping mad type of busy, so I guess instead of complaining about it, we could observe and see that the staff was doing the best they could to keep up. The place for a strip mall restaurant is deceiving. It's good We ordered Pad Thai, since it was my first trip here so I had to get this to test the place out, yum yum soup and hibachi vegetables. Food, every thing was very good. Biggest issue was we asked for the pad Thai to be level 3 spicy and either they didn't see it or their spice level is non existent. I'm not sure I would ask for a higher level next time in case they just forgot. The taste of all the food was spot on. I measure my Thai places based on its pad Thai and it had all the ingredients, in great proportions. The biggest issue, for the money you expect the normal giant Thai portions. First time in and I have to say it's pretty good. We had a couple of house salads with ginger dressing and shared a bunch of rolls- BOGO free of the same or lesser value. Service was prompt. Food came out pretty quickly as well. The place was constantly hopping with people for after the dinner hour on a Friday night. They have a fairly large variety of noodles and rice dishes as well as a large sushi menu. There are plenty of choices which I appreciate with the younger crowd that doesn't love sushi as much. Update 7/13/19: Ventured outside of sushi and got the Thai dumplings and the Massaman curry with tofu. Loved the dumplings. Really great and loved the dipping sauce. The curry was really thin. The tofu was chewy and weird. Had an ok flavor but still have yet to find a better curry than Thai House in Raleigh. But I have found a few sushi rolls I do love here. Every time I go there there are people whose orders are wrong or they're waiting a long time. (Over an hour)s One time I ordered from their own website they gave me the wrong roll and when I showed them the receipt they were just like "whatever". I've tried to call an order in and most of time they don't answer but one time they did and it took over an hour for the order. Today I ordered on grub hub and of course waited the 40 minutes to get the food and grub hub charged me and when I got there they didn't have my $56 order.
