Come here pretty regularly and send many people here as well. Still give it 3 stars for Food. However, I want to give it zero stars for my most recent trip. Sign says they close at 9. Not 8:30 or 8:45. We arrived at 8:40, after working all day, just wanted to grab a quick bite of good food and go home after eating. I started to order, then the girl at the counter made sure to tell me "We close at 9. You're going to get this to-go?" I said "no, were eating here, it's not 9 yet. But you can put it in a to go box." Our food was ready around 8:50ish. Food was good, no disappointment there. At 9:00 we were asked to leave, "they were going home". Never in my life have I been asked to leave a restaurant because they were closing when I'm eating my food. Do I get that they close at 9, yeah. But as an example we were at Backfins once before (next door) and they close at 10, and they told us "don't worry, enjoy your food, no rush". Now that's customer service and how you handle business. Not asking people to leave. We would have been done eating in 5-10 minutes. I'm sure they still had to clean the kitchen, etc. Also to note, while we were there the little girl at the front told 2 other customers who came in sometime between 8:45-9pm they were closing and turned them away. SUGGESTION- if your sign says 9, customers assume you mean 9. So if really want to "close" the doors before then, change your business hours!

It is an insult to Japanese food to call what they serve Japanese. My beef hibachi box was dry pieces of steak, not cooked in soy sauce or any think like that, with orange sauce that tastes like ranch & coleslaw mixed together and a few shredded onions. There was loads of rice, the dirty fatty type that you find a a cheap all you can eat Chinese restaurant. Nothing about it was Japanese it was like eating dirty American food with dirty Chinese food. Full of MSG, that dirty oily taste all over your mouth from one spoonful. Feel disgusting after eating that. I literally had to go and wash my mouth out and lips from that one spoonful of rice because of the oily msg film... Ekk I would not eat there again even if I was being paid too.

$28 for what? Space in my box? Never ate there before and will never eat there! Nothing looks fresh, everything looks like it's been sitting all day. Food was cold & the employees are rude.

This is a fast food, order at the counter, pick up at the counter type place. Also good for take out. While I do like that the veggies are fresh, I felt it a bit skimpy on the tiny shrimp and mini scallops served in the hibachi style order. Two huge portions of bland rice with no veggies in them at all. Would prefer less rice filler and more hibachi. I liked the ginger sauce but the yum yum sauce was a bit too sweet. Your mileage may vary.

Hibachi Chicken

I love hibachi it's one of my favorite foods so I was excited to order from this place sense it had good reviews. I ordered hibachi chicken with no vegetables and this is what I got. Barely any chicken and mostly dry rice.

TDLLO Ramen & Sushi - Date night w KC. WF, NC

TDLLO Ramen & Sushi

It was Easter Sunday. Apr 5, 2026. This was my first visit to TDLLO Ramen & Sushi. There was a…read morecocktail bar and a sushi bar. I opted for a booth. The decor included dark wooden furniture, hardwood floors, door curtains for kitchen, and a ceiling lamp in the shape of a fish. On each table was a pale bottle with a small spout and a large stopper. This was for the black sauce, and the first time I have seen black sauce provided at tables in anything other than the small transparent bottle with double-spout cap. Next to the kitchen doorway was a black board announcing "What's New". The menu is printed on black-colored pages bound by black leather cover, which matched the black uniforms of the staff. I ordered my usual ramen: tonkotsu. It was served with a renge and a fork, the latter for those uncomfortable with using chopsticks. That didn't apply to me. I put the fork to the side and used the wooden chopsticks. The tonkotsu had three thick pieces of chasu, lots of menma slices, some kikurage strips, and a soft-boiled egg served in two halves. Though a little saltier than I would like, the broth was still delicious and complimented the food well, especially the chasu. It had a mild spiciness that caused slight irritation to my throat, but otherwise was worth consuming the entire bowl. It was about 11:10am when I arrived. Besides myself, there was one other party of two. The cocktail bar had two large TVs, one playing CNN and the other playing a sports program. The volume level was barely a whisper. Most of the time, I didn't hear anything. By 11:45am, two more parties of two showed up. The atmosphere was quiet the entire time, and definitely a great place to relax and enjoy a meal during lunch time. As I was leaving, I took a look at the outdoor dining area. It is housed in a patio next to the building. It has plenty of seating and is almost enclosed but for a cased doorway. I was impressed that TDLLO is accommodating to its customers during rain or shine (unlike Noodles Blvd in Cary). I will definitely come back to try a different ramen. Plenty of indoor and outdoor (sheltered) seating, plenty of parking, quiet atmosphere and good ramen, TDLLO Ramen & Sushi has my recommendation.

Update : Been going here often since Asuka changed their…read moremenu and raised their prices. Sushi is fresh -waitstaff fine - they have outside seating - curious as to why they aren't busy anymore- However- two things to be on the watch for: 1) inside it's really cold - attention owner / manager , it's really cold in your restaurant. 2) their suggested tipping % on the handheld computer is computed AFTER tax .

Hands down, the best hibachi around that I've tried. Ironically went to my local sushi place…read moretonight that's my go-to and I have always raved about their hibachi... now that I have tried Kazu's, I didn't like it as much. Not sure if that's good or bad news for me lol because Kazu is about 40 minutes from my house. Service was polite and attentive as I expected. Restaurant was clean but is limited on seating, just fyi. Hibachi is cooked fresh to order and my fave thing is that the veggies aren't over cooked and mushy. They still have a crisp to them. Thai tea was excellent too. Didn't taste like a premix (if it is).

I was told to sit wherever I wanted, and since they weren't busy due to the off-time, I chose a booth. Ordered the chicken and scallops combo, plus green tea and water. Tea and water were served in styrofoam. Not a fave of mine. But when the delicious food appeared, I forgave them. Especially since it was on a real plate. I had to ask for ginger sauce, but the yum yum sauce had already been put on the table in a squeeze bottle. Everything was perfectly cooked, plentiful and yummy. I would probably not order the scallops again because the flavor and texture were more fish-like than scallop like. Loved the chicken and all the veggies. Fried rice was good as well. Didn't have anything added to it, but it didn't need to. Even though I ate a lot, I still took home enough for another delicious meal. Would definitely go back, especially considering how inexpensive it was.

Cute modern restaurant within an office building. Great lunch special deal. It came with a salad or…read moresoup, 6 pieces of nigiri, and a hand roll. The salad was so surprisingly good. You can tell the fish was high quality. It did take some time for our food to come. The negi toto roll is good but a bit pricey for 6 pieces. The waitress was very attentive and kind. Well priced for the high quality.

Visited Sushi Mon on a recommendation from a local. Initially I wasn't sure about it because…read moreseating was in what seemed to be the lobby of the building it's located in. Later I saw the actual restaurant is a bit small with a few tables and sushi bar so I'm thinking they have out grown their space and after eating the food I can understand how that happened. As mentioned it has a small footprint but we didn't wait long. Our server was very kind and provided excellent service. We started with the gyoza which were out of this world! They had the perfect char on the dumpling without making it too seared. The Sashimi plate was incredible, each piece of fish melted in your mouth. If I have to give one critique I'd say our yellow tail was still a little frozen but that didn't stop me from devouring it. Crispy Salmon Roll was light and refreshing and their Rainbow Roll was like no other I've had. My husband and I have two reference points when it comes to sushi; mine is Japan where I was introduced to it as a young Marine, his is Hawaii where had the most amazing sushi about 5 years ago. Not many places can compare to those experiences but Sushi Mon was VERY close!
