The shopping center has plenty of free parking. The menus are extensive: one is dedicated to sushi, and the other features Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Singaporean dishes. You can mix and match the dishes if you want. The prices seemed reasonable for the amount and quality of food. We were a group of six, and they put a few tables together so that we could sit together. We had plenty of room and weren't squished together. The dining room wasn't loud, so we could actually hear each other and have conversations. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The owner was also going around to all the tables to make sure we were happy with our meals. I went with the Hibachi Samurai, and I could choose soup or salad and white or fried rice. I did the miso soup and white rice. The zucchini, mushrooms and onions were mixed with the chicken, steak and shrimp. I really enjoyed my meal and the flavors. Although I haven't gotten my favorite waitress during my last few visits, she made a point to come over and talk to me this last time. She even remembered my exact order and that I like it prepared without onions, which I truly appreciated! Unfortunately, the beef itself seemed a little rubbery. A few of the pieces were completely fine, so I am not sure whether the meat was just overcooked or had sat under a heat lamp too long before being served. The fried rice seemed better than ever, though, as was the eggroll. I think I will need to start trying some new vegetarian or alternative dishes here on my next visits to avoid the meat, as I still really enjoy the local atmosphere and excellent service.

TLDR: I was so disappointed! The vibe is cool, and the hostess was sweet as can be. But our waiter started off rough when we asked him what the sauce on the shrimp bao was and he looked at us blankly and said he really didn't know how to describe it. We eventually figured out that it should be analogous to bang bang sauce, so we ordered those, the brisket bao, & the potstickers to share, plus we each got a taco (shrimp for her and tuna for me). We also ordered the strawberry basil rum-based cocktail to share. The cocktail was ok to me and unpalatable to her - it didn't have even a hint of discernible basil flavor. There was too much of whatever was wet in the toppings - there was literally a wet puddle around it. There were so many green onions in it I couldn't even pick them all out (they are not in the menu description, and I hate them). And the tuna, while beautiful in appearance, was variable in quality. Some chunks were great; some chunks had a weird texture like the stuff you cut off of chicken when you're cleaning it. And some was so fishy I had to spit it out. I estimate I ate about half of it. So overall, some things were good, some things were not, and some were in between. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could but I rounded up. At a lower price point I'd be more forgiving, perhaps.
