Soba noodles with steak
Joani O.

I'll keep this short and sweet. Excellent food at excellent prices! They have numerous options and combinations of protein served with vegetables and fried rice, or soba noodles. Great appetizers too. It's in a strip mall and a small space with just a few tables. We were in town for a wedding and it was a perfect lunch one day when we were out. We wish there was a place like this in Chicago!

First time getting lunch for take out here. Have to say one of the best I've had. The service was fast, and the ambiance was good! The preparation was nice and it looked good. It tasted just as amazing as it looked. Definitely will be back for sure.

steak hibachi and shrimp hibachi

Tried this place for friday night takeout dinner. I ordered the shrimp hibachi and my husband got steak hibachi. This is our first time trying this place and we'll definitely be back! It was a great size portion and both our meals were delicious. They gave a lot of each protein and vegetables. Each meal also came with yum yum sauce on the side. They were super busy with takeout orders but we got our food in the time frame that it said it would ready. Highly recommend!

Food: 4.5 Service: 5 Ambience: 5 Date/Time: 1/11/2025 1:15pm Crowd: 2 tables occupied Order: General Tsos Chicken (lunch menu) This sit-down restaurant is tucked into the corner of Brennan Station on Creedmoor Rd near Strickland Rd on the Brigs side of the shopping center. It's very nicely decorated and clean. Many similar type hibachi restaurants gives off a feel of being a fast food take out joint but this one shows the effort that went in to make diners feel welcomed rather than get in, get your order and go. You are greeted with a friendly and smiling server who takes good care of you. The food is delicious and the only thing I noticed about the General Tsos Chicken is it was a little on the sweeter side than I'm used to. Other than that, it was great, and served on nice looking plates. I would highly recommend this place!

This was the most delicious hibachi that my boyfriend and I ever had! First of all, we went to eat inside, and though the restaurant was small and busy, we were immediately seated. Our waiter was attentive and fast. Our food came out so fresh and so quickly. We ordered 2 thai teas, fried calamari, crab rangoons, chick hibachi, and steak hibachi. It was so flavorful, fresh, the perfect temperature. I am already thinking of a reason to go back tomorrow, lol. DELICIOUS 10/10

1. crab puffs 2. crab cheese wontons 3. crab pastry

It takes a lot for me to give a place five stars, but we stumbled upon this little gem last Saturday and were thrilled to find that the food was better than both Benihana and Ron in Japan, and even less expensive than either of those restaurants. Everything was exceptional! The appetizers were absolutely delicious. The shrimp I had was amazing, and my wife's sushi was also great. There's not a single bad thing I can say about this place; we will definitely be back when we're in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The service was excellent--very fast--and the ambiance was quaint. It was a small place with just a few other diners, but it was still a lovely atmosphere to enjoy our meal.

My big back friend tore his up!!

This is my go-to for simple, delicious steak hibachi. The restaurant is always busy but the staff is efficient at handling orders quickly.

Delicious!! This was…read moremy first time having ramen, and my friend suggested we go here, and I'm so glad we did! Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! Worth the drive from Clayton, where I live.

The broth was rich and balanced, the pork was tender, and the toppings--bok choy, beansprouts, bamboo, onions, nori, and that perfectly seasoned egg--brought everything together beautifully. I did ask them to cut the meat up but they were "not able" to accommodate that request. Every bite felt warm, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe of the place is fun and energetic. The music was a bit louder than I prefer, but it didn't take away from how good the food was. If you're craving a great bowl of ramen in a lively atmosphere, Noodle Boulevard is absolutely worth the stop.

I came right before a show at the Alamo Drafthouse around the corner, which makes it the perfect night out for dinner and show. It looks like a lot of people order takeout here, but they have ample tables and do offer an excellent dine in service. I loved their green beans and eggplant. All their food felt more authentic and homestyle than your typical run of the mill Chinese place. The food had flavor, and it wasn't overly greasy either! I'll definitely come back next time in near north Raleigh.

The shrimp, beef, & chicken meal would've been okay if the beef hadn't been questionably fresh (I didn't eat any after the first bite) and the tough, overcooked shrimp. I tipped 15% because the service was terrible. Aside from the lady yelling, "It's okay?" from the kitchen, she never checked on me. Usually, I tip between 25-30%. After I paid and left the restaurant, the rude cashier followed me out to my car. Pointing to the receipt & tip, he yelled, "This is it?? %15 tip??" The only positive thing that I can say about Chuan Cafe is that the Diet Coke was good.

Room for probably 3 diff groups of people to eat. There were tables to seat 4, two tall stool seats by the window facing the parking lot, and a tucked away spot with a folding chair beside it and had cups of utensils on it. I ordered the cold flour noodle with sesame sauce and the shaanxi mutton soak buns. Both were tasty and the cold noodles were refreshing. The employee described the mutton soak buns dish as a soup soaked pancake which is pretty accurate. It reminds me of a rice porridge but with chopped dough instead of rice. The restroom is in the back through the kitchen which is kinda cool because you can see them rolling out all the round flat bread that they use for the dishes. I'm guessing it's what they use for the rougamo (I've seen it at other Chinese restaurants described as a Chinese hamburger) and the shaanxi soak buns. It almost has a gnocchi type of consistency. It isn't your average fried rice and stir fry type of Chinese restaurant so if you're looking for something like that it might not meet your expectations. I would definitely come back to try other menu items. Also, get the plum juice. It's delicious!

The reason I gave it 4 stars was because the dumplings were disappointing. They were not warm and the dumpling dough was thick. We got the David's dumplings and the crispy spicy wontons.
